Det var godt, og jeg har set nogle hoteller...Perfekt som udgangspkt. for en familie på udflugter til New York.

ligger godt i forhold til NYC, bussen går lige ude for døren, køre man uden for myllertiden tager det 12 min at komme ind mid i byen, i myllertiden ca 20 min, vi var 2 voksne og 4 STORE børn, ddet fungeret godt, super lækker morgenmad, vil anbefale det til alle, som ikke vil betale det dobble for at bo på Manhattan, på et super godt hotel.

Flot Morgenbuffet, fin busservice til NY( slutter dog ved 0030 tiden fra NY), fredelig beliggenhed, store værelser- desværre kan vinduer ikke åbnes, så der er noget indelukket, hjælper dog når aircondition kører, lækker jacussi, stor hjælpsomhed når man henvender sig i receptionen

Vi er en familie med to børn på 19 og 21, der overnattede 9 nætter på Embassy Suites Hotel i sommerferien 2011. Da vi kom kl. 17 var vores 2 værelses suite ikke helt færdig, så vi ventede lidt i lobbyen, før vi kunne checke endeligt ind. Suiten var dog ikke blevet støvsuget, så vi bad om, at de checkede op på det, mens vi gik ud at spiste. Da vi kom […] tilbage en times tid senere, var alt i orden. Hotellets 2 værelses suiter fungerer rigtig godt - især, når man er 4 afsted. Morgenmaden er fantastisk god og der er masser af vælge imellem. Især ideen med æg i alle afskygninger ( omelet m. forskelligt fyld, amr. pandekager, spejlæg, scrabbled eggs osv ) skabte succes i vores familie. Vi var også meget begejstrede for den gratis drink, man fik tilbudt hver aften kl. 17.30 - 19.30. Ikke-alkoholiske drikke samt snacks var i den periode gratis i baren. Det var en dejlig afrunding på en travl dag. I nærheden af hotellet var der mange forskellige spisesteder. Outback ( en steak-restaurant ) ligger lige ved siden af og er meget anbefalelsesværdig. Hotellet selv serverer også mad, hvilket vi dog ikke prøvede. Walmart ligger lige omkring hjørnet, så her er der også mulighed for at købe lidt ind. Lige over for hotellet ligger der et busstoppested ( bus nr. 320 ), der ofte kører direkte ind til Port Authority Bus Station på Manhattan ( afgår igen fra gate 231 indtil kl. 22 - herefter fra en anden gate ). Det kostede 31.60 dollars for 4 voksne returbilletter ( ingen mulighed for besparelse ved fler-dages billetter ) og selvom det selvfølgelig løb op, var det dejligt at kunne komme over til Jersey siden med frisk luft, når man havde gået i bilos hele dagen. Desuden føltes kvarteret trygt - også om aftenen. Sørg for at bestille et værelse, der ikke vender over mod det iøvrigt gratis parkeringshus. Vores værelse lå på 4. sal og vi var i begyndelsen lidt generet af ventilationsmaskiner, der var monteret her nedenfor udvendigt. I recently stayed here 4-29-12 for 1 nite it was great. Clean room, free drink and chips for an hour ( manager's hour) they called it . Additional drinks were only $2 which is great for top shelf liquor. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding lots of choices . Over all all was great I will visit again

Very convenient to get in to Manhattan using 320 bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal. $3.95 each way, about 15-30 mins depending on traffic (even in snow as we had on one day). Hotel itself very comfortable, limited but good value food available in bar with friendly and helpfull staff. Main problem - not ideal if flying from JFK as expensive taxi. We […] also had to find a left luggage office near the bus terminal (used Schwartz Travel Services a few minutes walk located at 355 West 36th St) who charge $10/bag for a good service up to 11 pm. My husband and I along with our 2 preteens stayed here to travel into NYC. The bus is located directly in front of the hotel and takes you to the theatre district in NYC. The room was well appointed and spacious for the 4 of us, was clean and had 2 tvs to make all happy. The complimentary breakfast was great and the managers snack at night and complimentary […] drink from the bar was unexpected and appreciated. The hotel has FREE parking and is located in a safe area with many restaurants. The desk staff was very helpful andn friendly. The pool was small but fun and the kids loved the hot tub. We had a GREAT stay! Hotel was clean, safe and staff was very friendly! Caught the bus right across the street into NYC and ate our meals at the local restrauants near the hotel--which there were MANY to choose from. Save BIG bucks on our "New York Trip" by staying here instead!!!

Great place to stay! Friendly and very helpful staff. Bus to New York right across the street. Close to everything! Only had the pleasure to stay two nights. Next time will stay longer. Complimentary breakfast buffet was awesome! Thanks!

This was an amazing property close to NY via NJT bus or rail.. The bus located right out front of the hotel. The price could not be beat when you think of the breakfast and cocktail hour being included in the price. Will surely be back on our next visit to NYC.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The price is beyond reasonable. The rooms are very clean and up-to-date, the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpfull. This hotel is a great way to take kids into the city. The size of the suite was great; continental breafast was wonderful (not just mufins and juice). Although the rooms were clean, the condition was average. The carpeting could be replaced. The heat in the bedroom was limited and a bit chilly. Hotel over all served its purpose However out dated. Room could have been cleaner . Rug stained.took 24 hours to fix TV Then they charged me an extra $30.00 as a fee on top of pre-paid stay through hotels .com. Close to NJ bus into Port Authroity and run every 15 mins This was great. Also great breakfast buffet

We had reservation for king size bed but they told us they don't have king size room only double bed available. After a long argument and wait they arranged to give us king size room. Don't be fool by jetted spa tub feature they don't have spa tubs in the any room...

The room was very spacious and clean . There was a nice pool and friendly staff and I loved the hot breakfast it reminded me of home! Overall great stay !

The bus stops across the street and provides quick and easy access to NYC. It's a nice hotel with a good free breakfast.

nice area, shopping/restaurants area, of course - STARBUCKS, close to NYC, easy to take public bus to NYC, only about 20 minutes, not far from 95 highway,

Hotel was perfect. Conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, Meadowlands and the Convention Center. Nice bar and breakfast and hotel was very clean, neat and friendly. Would definitely stay again and would recommend for business or pleasure

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Embassy Suites. I couldn't get over how close it was to so many restaurants (practically in walking distance) and with Walmart in close proximity.. you just couldn't beat it. The hotel was so clean! Even though I don't drink liquor, they provide for each day's stay a complimentary beverage (liquor incl) and breakfast […] tickets to the guest. I thought that was superb! I have so many compliments about this hotel that it is beyond great to me.. however to be perfectly honest, there were a few minor things that bothered me just a tiny bit..for a very nice hotel I was surprised that they don't offer free WI-FI in the rooms.. that definitely was a disappointment and the parking garage every night was hell to get a spot because the garage shares the space with Lifetime Fitness, and other businesses including a theater, which again is nice for walking distance. For someone coming back from a long day's work and driving around and around just to park was not the greatest! I can overlook the minor flaws because the hotel in itself was great.. my one king suite felt like a studio apartment with segregated living room and flat screen tv and bedroom with closed door.. nice! I was surprised to see that they handed out drink and breakfast coupons at check in. This is very different from Embassy Suites in DC that allows all you can eat/drink. However this one is different as it hands out coupons. The furniture is old and looks dirty. It has changed color from all the years of use. We stayed at this hotel last week and were very pleased. Someone I knew had stayed there about a month ago and recommended it to us. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, the location was very convenient to New York City, and the breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay there again.

The suite we stayed in was wonderful! The rooms were very clean, room service was expensive, as usual, but the employees were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was fabulous. Get there early if you want to enjoy the complimentary buffet. We checked in late, be were still in time for the complimentary drink. However, the pool is a lot smaller […] than the one in the photo, and the hot tub needs a little work done it. It was hot, and bubbly, but the jets are directed so that the bubbles shoot up??? Very nice hotel in a nice area. Room was down right cheap cost wise. Bar was pricey though. Breakfast was pretty darn good. Rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. Service was great. Parking was free. Close to restaruants. Loved our stay and would definitely come back again.

This hotel was perfect for a one-night stay in the NYC area! There are tons of restaurants and some shopping near the hotel itself, but there is also a bus stop literally right across the street that takes you straight into NYC. This was perfect for us since we didn't want to pay a lot for one night and we wanted to be close to all the action. The rooms […] were comfy, the service was great, the complimentary drinks were a nice touch and the breakfast was awesome! There was no way you could go away hungry after the buffet, made-to-order omelets, fresh pancakes and fruits. All included in the price of the hotel! Even if you missed the bus from the City back to the hotel, taking the train to Secaucus and then a taxi to the hotel wouldn't kill your wallet. My family and I and some other friends we spent 3 nights at the Embassy suites, it was as if we were in our home, very clean, organized,bus station was only 2 blocks away that made our stay very easy to Manhattan downtown,in addition to the front desk had a great service, for sure we will return to this hotel.

I decided for it because 90% HHonors hotels are 5 star service and cleanness, but this one does not meet an of a VIP customers expectations. 1- Refrigerator did not work - when ask the maid to pls ck it she said if its hot you call. I am diabetic and needed to put my insulin in a cold area, ended up using my own lunch box. 2- AC did not work, room was […] like a oven, to get them to act upon this I had to explain myself many times. 3- No regular coffee in the room, again I had to call front desk 4 no one explain at ck in about the services or internet use, I was going to be charged 14.95 per night. 5- rugs were filthy 6- bed had black spots of dirt They ended up moving me to another rum with many of the other problems as well. At check out time no one had documented my problems and was going to be charged extra for a horrible room service food. The location of hotel is nice and safe. Transportation to NYC is easy, buses pick you up right across the street from the hotel. The front desk and cleaning staff provided me with outstanding service. My only recommendation to improve this hotel would be to change the furniture in the rooms. This hotel is nice, clean and up to date! Made to order omelets were delicious. Bus stop just outside the hotel round trip to Manhattan (Port Authority) about a 20-minute ride, check out the charge because it does change. Walmart 10 minute walk away. Staff is friendly and helpful, they even brought scale to our room so we could weigh our luggage. Staff […] should be more informed about various transportations and costs. A front desk employee said take a taxi to JFK Airport (too costly). Instead, take an airport type shuttle bus (white in color) from Port Authority (PABT) . our first time visiting new york and knowing not to drive in new york we chose a hotel in new jersey. the only one with a pool! parking,restaurants,stores all around. easy bus access across the street to cross the tunnel into new york cheap$ round trip per person each day.free breakfast buffet for early risers, but weekends it lasts longer.beautiful […] interior in trianle shape with glass roof lighting each floor and the bottom restaurant area.had a great suite for 3 people with 2 beds in a room and pull-out couch.convenient fridge and microwave if you grocery shop and don't always want to eat out.but also the great restaurants all around deliver to your room. in all, my daughter,my wife and I couldn't have found a better place. The Embassy Suites is located in a safe area with many restaurants and amenities in close proximity. The comfortable NJ Transit coach bus stops right in front of the hotel and brings you directly to midtown Manhattan for $7.90 return! Me, my wife and two boys (age 10 & 12) had a great time in our two nights at this hotel which was clean and very comfortable. […] I compared prices and you will definitely save $$ compared to staying directly in Manhattan for a comparable room - not to mention the free parking and breakfast!
