Riverside Hotel - Fort Lauderdale

Dejligt hotel beliggenede på strøg med gode forretninger og restauranter, fantastisk udsigt over floden fra tower-værelset på 10 sal. Vi kommer der gerne igen

Godt beliggende i bycentrum

Rigtig lækkert hotel med kanon beliggenhed lige på Las Olas Blvd. Vi boede i et tower værrelse på 11. etage / hjørne - med en fantastisk udsigt ud over byen og kanaler hvor flotte skibe sejlede forbi. Rigtig dejlig pool. Virkelig et skønt hotel som vi varmt kan anbefale - intet at komme efter. Dog et par kilometer til stranden - men man kan oppe på […] en bus hvis man ikke gider at gå. Hotel situated OK. The standard rooms are quite small and no view so we upgraded to a tower room. Good space and view. Staff was very friendly. Cleaning was however done in the afternoon and the ended up throwing away a plastic bag with our food and some important papers. Parking is expensive.

Beautiful area, spacious room

Staff was quite friendly and food was excellent. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

my husband and I were very please we got there asked if we can check early right away she said was not a problem also we wanted a room with balcony they did all they could for us to get one the staff at the hotel were awesome one of best hotel we had stay and we travel a lot Marlen& troy

The only issue with the riverside is the car park and valet charges which I though were a high

Great hotel with perfekt location.

My sister and I were traveling together and checked to make sure we could get a room with two beds. With no fanfare, we were upgraded to the best room in the place -- high floor, southeast corner, balcony overlooking the river, the yachts, long view to ocean. Spectacular. We had a great time.

Great location next to a walkway on a canal--on the other side of the hotel--shops and shopping along las olas blvd--loved it.

Having stayed in low-end hotels without a problem, I called the front desk once I saw my original room to get a new one. For an additional charge, I was moved to the refurbished area of the hotel and a decent room. The first room and the floor it was on was a disgrace. The room was dingy and disgusting and the floor dank and depressing. I shouldn't […] have had to pay an additional charge to get a decent room, particularly as the original fee was not cheap. Great location but the rooms are tired and dated; comforters are disgusting, housekeeping is non-existent and trays of room service food left in the hallways for days at a time. I love the location and have stayed here before but they need to pick up their game for the nightly rate they are charging.

Stayed in an executive tower room, with balcony. Large room, great view. Hotel is above restaurants and shops and short walk from the riverside and quiet.

bathroom smelled

We stayed in the "old" part of the hotel and was not nice enough for the $$ spent. We did however like the convience of the Las Olas Blvd. Pool was very nice as it was right next to a river channel

Overal Hotel and stay were good. However, need better bellman service. Call for help with luggage around 6:30 am. Told no one on duty unitl 7:00 am. Went down to get cart, fortunately found bellman who had gotten in early and was able to help. Note, have torn rotator cuff so really didn't need to be lifting luggge. Similary, need to improve front desk. […] Went down to check out. Was told by gal at desk with her boss standing there that checkout was automatic. Turned in card and left. Told wife, who didn't believe me, She went to desk and found guy who said we need to checkout and did so. That was the last impressions of the hotel. Læs mere

Convenient for shops and excellent restaurants. Theatre, museums and historical sites nearby.

The hotel was in reasonable condition, We were a little disappointed at first as we had no view from our room and I couldn't,t see the river. We came from a cruise ship and we were pleased to get an earlier check in about 12ish. We also had a late checkout but that cost was 75 dollars plus taxes! The towels in the room were large and fluffy and lots […] of them. The restaurant was very popular as was the location with a lot of non resident customers making it difficult to get a good table. It was quite cold one morning and the buffet breakfast was cold even on the 3rd attempt of trying to get warm. All the staff were polite and Helpful. The area was very popular and very busy over the weekend so difficult to get into the many restaurants. The cafe de paris and the italian bakery were excellent. Læs mere

This hotel staff is very warm and welcoming. My husband and I only stayed for a day and half for business, but enjoyed our short stay at Riverside. Clean, large rooms, and smack dab in the middle of all shops, restaurants, gym, etc. We got a great deal and will be staying there next year as well.

For the younger crowd not seniors. Rooms clean but sparse

Great non-beach location on Las Olas Blvd. Close to cafes, great boutique shopping and people watching. Good location for Business travel. Nice alternative to typical generic chain hotels or airport locations, this historic 1930's hotel has been well maintained and renovated. This hotel is very conveniently located, but sadly in need of a major facelift. We were in the "Tower" which was supposedly redone, but it had an analog TV (aka fuzzy picture and SLOW) and very few of the nicer amenities we have come to expect when traveling. This was after paying the premium per diem to be upgraded to the "Tower". When we knew we would […] be in Ft. Lauderdale, we called some Florida friends to join us. The Riverside Hotel is in walking distance to downtown Ft Lauderdale and next door to shopping, restaurants, art galleries and real estate agencies. A very good choice all in all

Riverside Hotel has an unsurpassed location to enjoy downtown Ft Lauderdale. Its also within walking distance of museums. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and the place had an aura of old world class. The rooms were pleasant, clean, and decent (though in this day and age, more outlets for chargers and PCs would be helpful!). The service was impeccable, the room was comfortable and had a great balcony . Great upgrades for not so much money !! Only annoying thing was parking , you would think they would have free parking but it was over 20 dollars ! Probably because it was such a hot spot , it was worth the money though.

Liked everything about this hotel, very nice location, take the trolley to beach, clubs nearby, great eateries and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and professional. Boston Traveler

This hotel is excellent, the location is great, the room comfortable and the staff first class. Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was awful. Reporting it was met with - do you want to change rooms - after a 28 hour journey and having unpacked, we didn't. Several attempts to resolve the problem were unsuccessful, a pity!

Best view

loved that I can walk to restaurants, shops and lots of art galleries.

The Riverside Hotel is located on Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale and right in the heart of the best dining in town. There are so many options within walking distance. The hotel is an older hotel, but has all the charm of an old world hotel where they remember your name when you check in and the staff greets you by name. Really a unique experience from most […] hotels. The hotel rooms might be a little dated, but this could also be considered part of the charm. The only negative that I find with the hotel is the room air conditioners can be a little noisy and if you are a light sleeper, like I am, bring ear plugs. I have stayed here several times and always look to see if there are rooms available at this hotel first when traveling to south Florida. Læs mere

Judging by the photos of the hotel on line, we thought we chose a decent hotel. However, our stay was so much more than just 'decent.' Every staff member we encountered was very pleasant, very helpful and always eager to please. The restaurant, Indigo, has not only amazing food - we ate there 3 nights in a row - but the staff is equally just over the […] top! Everyone knew us by name - and always greeted up with a smile, even the entertainer they had over the weekend would look and say, "how are my Dallas girls today?" There are so many who made us feel like family. Hugs were given all around when it was time for us to depart. Additionally, we have several friends who live in FTL, they all commented what a great reputation the hotel had, how beautiful it was, and they, too experienced the amazing staff. Overall we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! We will DEFINITELY be back and will recommend to ALL we know headed to the area! For the Price it is the best place to stay in Ft. Lauderdale. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel important .....Great Atmosphere

I've been travelling to South Florida for work for 7 years, and the Riverside Hotel is definitely one of my favorite places to stay. The hotel is located on historic Las Olas Blvd. and there is a multitude of wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you're in town for business, I definitely recommend!

The Riverside Hotel was the nicest hotel that my family has ever stayed in. It was beautiful and had a georgous view of the city and ocean. The room was very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful. We stayed in the new section of the hotel. I would recommend The Riverside Hotel to everyone.

My family and I stayed at the Riverside Hotel from a recommendation. Nothing disappointing. Room was great, location was perfect for our needs and staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Would stay there again without reservation.
