My wife & I stay at the Westin often. We don't have anything negative to say about our accomdations. Great time and great rest. Shula's is very good try the jumbo crab cakes and the beds OMG!

The stay was the best ever. The staff and amenities were great. My personal request for a refrigerator, microwave and place settings were honored within minutes of calling the staff express at the front desk. They even provided wine glasses! Eating and shopping were all within a 10-15 minute drive. I will definitely stay there again!!

Great room, and location for my purposes. Only drawback is you have to pay for internet service.

We arrived a couple days before new years and the hotel was nice and quiet, Richard at the front desk was awesome to deal with, everyone who has a position like that should pay cloes attention to how he treats everyone AAA. The health club attached was great, our comliments to the entire staff!

We stayed Christmas Eve night because of a quick change of plans. The rate was a very good value. The bed and the shower were comfortable. The carpets in their room were showing their age with many dirty spots on the floor. Other than that the room was very good.

Hotel is on perfect place for short visit to city and close to airport. Parking is free and secure. Room is good but can be cleaner. Overall very good hotel for this price.

I liked everything about the hotel. My only disappointment, and it was minor, was that they had a little Starbucks type coffee shop with bagels and goodies. I was looking forward to that when I woke up...but it was not open. Nothing major though. Nice place, clean, and close to Woodfield Mall...a beautiful shopping mall only a few miles away.

Really nice hotel, at a very reasonable price. But... the pool wasn't open because of maintenance. Other than that, it was a great stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was beautiful.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff are incredible. The room was very spacious and clean. One of the best hotels I stayed in.

We love Westins and stay in them often, even just for one night getaways or for weddings. The beds and rooms are very comfortable and modern, which is what I love best. This specific Westin is in need of a good cleaning though. The carpets, both in our room, and in the hallways, were visibly dirty and possibly worn. Although this hotel was beautiful and easy to find, there were bottles under our bed, no fridge and this entire hotel DOES NOT HAVE JETTED TUBS in any room! If I had not planned on a romantic weekend in Chicago with my hubby for my b-day, this would have been a great stay. The only problem I had was there is nothing good in the area I had to drive to schaumburg IL to do everything I didnt like that!!!..Other than that the hotel is Really Nice!!!!!

the gym was old and not clean . need a new gym up date

The hotel was close to a train station making getting to downtown a breeze. I was there on a Friday night, so yeah there were a few intoxicated people out and about being semi-loud. This is almost expected at most hotels, so people need to get over it. It did not make me think any less of the hotel.

It can be rough to get back and forth to the hotel from the downtown area of chicago. It really took a lot longer than i wanted it to. Other than that i was over all very pleased with the hotel.

Booked this hotel because we wanted to be just outside of the Chicago area, but close enough to get to places quickly. The front desk was very helpful and very nice helping us with finding places nearby (resturants, train statin etct...) However, during the weekends this hotel will most likely be having weddings or some sort of big gatherine, there […] was two weddings during our stay - a friday and saturday night. So, if you plan to head to bed at an early hour after a busy day I wouldn't recommend you stay here during the weekend (they do stop playing the loud music loudly after a certain time). Our first room had extremely loud guests with a very unhappy baby and the front desk was quick to send security to get them to quiet down, but that didn't happen so the hotel was able to place us in a much quieter room. Overall this was a nice visit, clean rooms and friendly staff. Walls are not very sound proof. I would like to stay here in the near future... on a week day perhaps. Læs mere

I had to crash for a night there. Very friendly staff and close to everything. Great new renovated rooms.

I went to this hotel expecting a four star hotel room and service. While the room was as good as I expected, and I am completely satisfied with it, the staff at check-in just did the minimum amount of work necessary to fulfill their duties, but they were not helpful at all when we asked some requests related to our stay. I wouldn't have minded if they […] deny our requests as long as they are polite and friendly while rejecting us, but they were not. Really unfriendly front desk ! The lady acted like you don't belong here (on 8th night of October )

The room was very spacious and nicely arranged. Service was quick and efficient. It's what you'd expect at a Westin. Just a few nits: (1) It felt underserved by the elevators, as there were longish waits and many stops. (2) There's not much of a view from any window (we had a high floor), since the hotel is essentially in a small office park off of […] the highway. The photos of this hotel do not do it justice. Spent a weekend with my wife and we really enjoyed our stay. Recently updated rooms made it feel like a very luxurious hotel. Will stay again next time we are in the suburbs!

hotel is in a convenient location with great running trails and wonderful fitness facilities, not just on the 12th floor but also int he adjacent club facilities to which guests have access. Disappointed to only have service for two cups of coffee. If more starbucks coffee is desired, one must call the front desk. Four elevators could not keep up with […] the demand or they are all very slow...not sure...it was a busy weekend. wifi service only available for a fee...really?? This should be free. It is annoying to learn of the fee; even fast food restaurants are offering it free of charge on their premises. Læs mere

We really liked the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. If you are looking to save $ by staying outside of the city center I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. However, if you are looking to save time stay closer to downtown. The only thing I was not happy about was that when we got to our room there were two bags of dirty clothes (I assume dirty towels and sheet) in front of the room's door. You need to let you know your service people that doesn't give a good impression.

decor of room is ok and comfy, but it was the first hotel i had without a mini bar or at least free fridge. there was a coffee maker with starbucks coffee, so that made up for non existence of fridge. The view we got at the 11th floor was great, it was of the hamilton lakes and park. but i imagine it wouldnt be too great on lower levels since the roof […] of the health club is so massive, flat, and bare. my daughter enjoys elevator rides from the glass cars with view of the hotel's atrium. Checked into the hotel. Given a room and went to the room and the room was not cleaned from prior guests with beer bottles all over the room, bed unmade, bathroom with towels on the floor and trash cans full. Very surprised as this was rated as a 4 star hotel. Was told by the attendant that reassigned a room that this has been a frequent happening and […] the maid service was not reliable lately. The overall quality of the hotel and rooms is great, but our sleep was disturbed by the noise. There were two parties going on in the hotel on the night that we stayed. The music was really LOUD. We called the operator to complain, and we were informed that it will stop at 12 midnight., But it was still playing till 12:30 AM and then stopped.

I absolutely loved the Westin Hotel it's absolutely beautiful and the workers were nice and friendly also very professional.

The Westin was truly top notch. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Te restaurant down stairs was equally as nice and the breakfast was nothing short of delicious. Awesome place.

great location for western Chicago, especially shopping (huge mall and Ikea store). Very comfortable beds. Nice walking path around hotel and surrounding ponds. Pet friendly.

I was overall not pleased with our stay, the carpet looked like it had crusted food on it and there was lots of hair and mildew in the bathroom. The refrigerator given to us made a loud noise all night, the pool was not open, and the front desk took forever to get us extra towels and cups. Not too happy.
