This was a fabulous hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, modern decor, easy access to shopping and sites of Seattle, accommodating concierge - overall great value for money. The top floor lounge area was lovely and had great happy hour specials, tasty food and drinks, and friendly, prompt service. Only negative about the hotel was that the hot tub water […] left you smelling like dirty socks. But, if you can avoid the hot tub, the rest of the stay was wonderful! Læs mere

Simply the best hotel I've stayed at in Seattle so far (I've visited 17 times from Ohio since 1996). We came in for the Seahawks/Saints playoff game and were blown away by Renaissance! I will certainly go back! Great amenities, helpful staff, amazingly comfortable bed, and an all-around elegant hotel. After the game we celebrated with some drinks […] on the top floor restaurant/bar, which was fabulous. Great atmosphere! The hotel is great, the room was super clean and the staff was amazing. It's only about 5 downhill blocks to everything. The price was very good for a hotel that close to the city center. Walking back to the hotel from the market or downtown may be a little bit of a hall since it is uphill, but it's only an $8 cab ride if you want to take the easy way. […] I'll stay again!! Læs mere

Nicely updated, comfortable, good location. interesting trying to navigate parking garage!!

This hotel was around everything we needed. We took the Transit Sound from the airport and walked 6 blocks to the hotel. No problem. We also could walk to catch the 550 express bus to Bellevue to visit family and back again. On the second day we had a wonderful breakfast buffet, and sat and read the newspaper. We also could easily walk to Pikes Place […] and the Seattle Aquarium. Oh, and the library is kiddie corner to the west side of the hotel, and that's the coolest looking library I've ever seen! Stayed here one night for our wedding anniversary. Love the theme and decor! We didn't want to pay the parking fee (a little steep for us), so we parked at a friend's house nearby and walked. Enjoyed a fantastic view of the sunset from the Rview lounge on the top floor. Wish our room had offered robes, and we were a bit surprised there was not a stocked […] fridge considering the price of the room. Also couldn't find the little book or pamphlet that has hotel info like check-in/-out time, room service menu (I think maybe they didn't offer room service?), or when their pool and fitness facilities open/close. I'd call these inconveniences, but not complaints. Everything else was great! Glad they're trying to save on water and energy by doing linens every 3 days (unless you request service sooner) and they encourage you to reuse your towels. Didn't interact with any hotel personnel other than the gentleman who checked us in and out, but he was very charming :) FAST elevators - geez! Læs mere

If you are visiting Seattle, the Renaissance Hotel is within walking distance of everyting, including the Seattle Center, Pioneer Square and Pikeplace Market. Parking is a little expensive, as it is everywhere in Seattle, but the hotel is clean, comfortable, and the service is excellent.

We really enjoyed out stay. The rooms where clean, great view of the water and Space Needle. We especially appreciated the friendliness of the staff.

good hotel in a great location. easy to get to from the airport. very clean, extremely knowledgable staff about area restaurants and attractions. got double charged for my hotel bill, so check carefully your final bill. also, in seattle it is extremely expensive for all the "little things" that add up. for instance to use the computer in the business […] room is the most costly I have ever encountered. it was over $20 for a simple usage of the internet. the pool was OK,not real clean and the windows needed washing. the hot tub was a warm tub. be careful on the pool floor it is very slippery and dangerous. didn't try the restaurant in the hotel since it was closed most of the time and besides with all the great seafood places nearby, why bother with standard business hotel food. overall good hotel with great staff (probably the best of any hotel that i have seen). A very clean, functional hotel. Undergoing renovation in June 2009 but effect on guests very little. Restaurant was closed but upstairs bar had fab views, especially at sunset and very good quality food. Decor was comfortable but not fussy. Bed was very comfy and no noise could be heard from other rooms. Bathroom door is just a slider so be aware if […] you are not sharing room with a nearest and dearest!
