The Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport is very convenient close to arrivals - just cross the road. The room rates are fairly cheap but don't expect rooms more than basic. Food at the hotel is overpriced - maybe to compensate for low prices on room rates.

the hotel is literally within spitting distance of the airport! Didn't get the king bed I booked, but the room was quiet and comfortable.

Nice location to stay close to the airport and get connected to the city by multiple ways of transport.

We stayed in the Glasgow Airport Holiday Inn recently, since it was the closest to the airport terminal and was cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express. 'Cheap' is the operative word here. There was no stopper in the sink, there was one dinky waste can, the heat didn't work, and one of the lampshades was broken. A GOOD HOTEL BUT BE AWARE OF THE CAR PARK CHARGE AND THE INFLEXIBLE STAFF WHEN IT COMES TO WAIVING THE CHARGE.

Clean, affordable and very convenient. We were amazed to read that this hotel had a 3.1 out of 10 customer rating. We got a very good deal for Friday night and were very satisfied with the hotel.

Good value, great location for airport, friendly staff. Went for what seemed to be healthy option in restaurant, seabass, but was swimming in butter. This would be only fault.

Stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions and it cannot be beat for the convenience. It is a 2 minute walk to the airport and a 5 minute walk to the car rental parking lots. The food in the restaurant and bar is pretty good and the morning buffet has everything from full English breakfast to fruits and cereal. Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport is a short walk from airport lounges - the location is brilliant for late arrivals/early departures...downside of location is little choice for evening meal. With an early 7.15 am flight - this is a very convenient place to stay for a quick getaway.

Good value for an over-night stay to take the hassle out of getting to the airport for an early morning flight.

Hotel itself was ok, food was good, I was put on the 5th floor it stank of stale cig smoke , I asked for a non smoking room,when I complained I was told that's what I got the room next to me was a smoking room I had to put a blanket down across my door so the new smoke smell would not enter my room

Would recomend if flying out on an early flight

Could not find any faults with my stay at this hotel. Was very good value for money and we had such a pleasant stay. The hotel staff couldn't have been anymore helpful and friendlier. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and would gladly stay there again.

Wanted to be close to the terminal for a morning flight, but didn't realize this hotel is directly across the street. Also, it is a 3-minute walk from the rental car drop-off area. Couldn't be more convenient, yet we didn't hear planes in the room. Breakfast was OK, but too expensive for what it was, and the hostess and servers were a little abrupt. […] Would rate it higher overall, were it not for the outrageous charge for internet access. The primary reason for booking this hotel was location. It is literally across the street from the airport! In spite of that, we heard NO airport noise. We could look out the window and see the planes landing but couldn’t hear them. The room was decent, not the cleanest or fanciest but comfortable. The restaurant rated a mediocre at best. Holiday Inn Glasgow airport is a very convenient place for early morning departures, it really is walking (50 metres) distance to check in for main airlines and about 100 metres for charter airlines. Easy to access from airport shuttles etc and in our case, very good value. It is not a new building but has been upgraded and renovated so rooms are clean, […] bright and quiet from airplane noise. Great for a quick stay when you have to be at the airport early! Room was mostly clean except for two things- there was a dirty pillowcase on one pillow, and the bathtub drain was blocked, which made for an icky shower!

We had great trouble entering through the gate. This went on for at least half an hour before we finally got into the parking area. The desk staff never left to help us and were at a loss to open the gate manually. There were no trolleys to carry our luggage. When we went to our room, the ceilings were very low. My husband is 6'5" and I can get claustrophobia. […] This was problematic as the ceilings were about 6'6". The room it'self was narrow and small. I was afraid we were going to have to seek other lodging. It was very stuffy and little way to get air. There was only one pillow per person. We both have health problems that require at least two pillows. Getting help in the morning so we could make our plane was a hassle. Over-all, this was an unpleasant experience. Læs mere

Had an early morning flight so decided to stay at the Holiday Inn at Glasgow airport. Room was very clean and modern and you can't beat getting up in the morning and walking 50 metres across the road to get into the airport. All in all, a very good option, especially if you book a bit in advance for a value room rate.

Our stay was for only one night but it was a good stay. Hotel is at the airport which was convenient for us. All of the staff was very helpful and gracious.

Ideal location for early morning flights. Clean and comfortable, would highly recommend.

Stayed at this hotel to go to a wedding in Clydebank very nice staff, clean rooms and very spacious, would definately go to holiday inns again

I booked 3 rooms and on arrival was told that the website had booked smoking rooms - which was not the case Other than that the hotel was OK and convenient

I had booked this hotel on line and was not sure what to expect. \i knew the check-in time was 2.00 p.m. However, I was pretty exhausted after an 8 hour flight from Toronto and decided to try checking in earlier. I was both surprised and delighted that when I walked in at 10.30 a.m. and asked them if there was any chance at all \i could check in early, […] they said the room was ready and there was no problem at all. The room was very comfortable and the restaurant food good but expensive. For all those who were not made aware of this, the restaurant requires a reservation. This was a very small inconvenience. Location was perfect for our needs - we rolled out of bed and into departures. However, both of us had bites and felt itchy the next day...

A great place to stay for an early flyout. It is very soundproof for being so close to the Airport. Wash cloths and soap had to be requested. Don't know if this is part of travel in Scotland or just an oversight. Over all it was very good.

n checking in to this hotel, we had to complain that the wastepaper bin had not been emptied, there was no extra toilet paper and the thermostat was not working so the room was very warm. returning to the room after an evening out-6 hours later!!- nothing had been attended to. After complaining again, we were told nothing could be done except to offer […] us a free breakfast which was of no use since we had a very early flight. We did not get much sleep as the room was so warm. Hotel location is perfect for the airport but would never stay there again. Brilliant location and price!

Perfect for a relaxed start to your holiday. You would not know you were within 500 yards of the runway as there was absolutly no noise in the room!

Had a very pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Glasgow airport, very close and convenient to the terminal building, also handy for the shops in the airport. Friendly staff, nice room. Would stay here again.

Stayed just 1 night, hotel was spotless, and compared to London hotels at the airport, great value.Menu could do with being a little healthier, but food was fine, HOWEVER we had a glass of wine with lunch and it was £7.00 a glass!! way too expensive.
