"Decent, Clean Hotel, good location"
I recently stayed here one night and thought the experience was fine, average. I'm a grad student who lives in Houston, so I had to stay over in order to take an exam in the morning. This was my first stay in College Station. I needed a clean room in a safe location near A&M and the Fairfield Inn is exactly that. I did not need a kitchen/suite and didn't […] want to spend an arm and a leg for one night. The employees were very friendly, but I did not interact with them a whole lot. In case you're interested, the indoor pool I passed in the lobby is tiny...but I certainly did not book this hotel to go swimming. The only minus was that I got there around 8pm and no one was at the front desk. The front desk person didn't come by until 15 minutes later. I found this acceptable for this level of hotel and it was the only minor minus during my "trip". I may consider trying out another hotel in the area if I need to stay again, but would not mind coming back to this one. I believe it is a "3"-level hotel (I mean, it's not a St. Regis or anything), but I rated it a "4" because it fit my needs almost perfectly. Læs mere

Hotel staff was wonderful. Our daughter, who attends A&M, was having surgery and then staying with us overnight at the hotel. The manager asked how the surgery went and how she was feeling when he saw my husband and myself at breakfast the next morning. Staff was very accommodating. Very conveniently located to great restaurants, Texas A & M University, shopping and the Bush Library. Enjoyed the indoor hot tub and pool.

Good location.... Go to Bryan and eat at Jose's!
The hotel was convenient. The rooms were a decent size and the rooms were clean. There are a lot of great restaurants around the area.

Hotel is in a great location if you plan on spending time at the university. Nice warm continental breakfast and clean sheets. Bathrooms could use some renovating. Overall a nice place to stay.

"Nice Staff, Comfortable, Good sleeping environment"
Listen the key test for me and probably for you is whether or not i can sleep in a hotel. Usually i don't. Here i did. Nice comfortable room, darkened nicely, cooled nicely. Bed was just fine. Enjoyed the texas shaped waffles you can whip up for breakfast there. Liked the friendly staff as well.

Every reasonable need was satisfied by the Fairfield Inn. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the free breakfast started us off right. The breakfast staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone.

"overpriced for condition, but good location"
Close to campus. Very small, but clean indoor pool. Clean, but in need of refurbishment. For example, the sink counter was cracked underneath. Everything we needed was there though.
"Great for one night stay"
This hotel is perfect if you just need a place to sleep for one or two nights. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good - not just cold cereal- and the bed was really comfortable. I didn't worry about the cleanliness or safety. If you're looking for a good, cheap place for a brief stay, this is a great pick.

"Staff wonderful, pricey, but good"
The hotel was clean, staff very helpful, and all that I expected from a Fairfield. However, it just seemed a little over priced for the date/ location/ quality. Breakfast was really good and there were a wide variety of choices for a contiental breakfast.

The hotel is well-positioned if you want to be near campus and/or Northgate. The place shows some wear but not too bad for a college town and a hotel that close to campus. The staff were nice and the breakfast was okay.

Everyone expects a "down-home welcome" when visiting College Station! Our two nights in town for A&M's New Student Conference with our homebase being at the Fairfield Inn did not disappoint us. Were moved the the Hampton Inn which was great but put in a smoking room. And it was very smoky!! Result was my daughter & I were choked up the the next 24 hours which effected her swimming...which was why we were there in the first place!
