Dejlig stort hotel med en flot overdækket Atrium-gård. En del af et kontorkompleks i hjertet af Austin. Super opmærksomt personale, og styr på adgang og transport. Effektivt elevatorsystem, og døgnservice. God aircondition, stort TV, god udsigt fra 12 sal. Fin vasketøjsservice, aflever inden 9 am. - tilbagelevering samme dag. Pool area på toppen af bygningen, og fabelagtig udsigt derfra. Kan varmt anbefales til luksusophold i Austin.

"Decent place for a decent price"
There's really nothing wrong with this hotel. We had a good stay and I was satisfied with everything, especially the full breakfast. There was some crazy voodoo stuff hanging above the door to the main office though. The guy at the desk tried to tell us it had something to do with being a door stop. It was voodoo.

A definite bargain for Austin. Good for a short stay, not downtown but convenient to the University and downtown. Great selection of cable channels.

"Good value"
I stayed here for SXSW (9 nights) and was impressed. Very near the green loop bus (if you're travelling for SXSW) so easy access to the city during SXSW even though it's 5 miles north. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Definitely some road noise, but not terrible - if it worries you, ask for a room on the back side of the motel (not facing the road).
"You Can Hear Everything"
I was right by the ice machine - and it went off all night. My neighbor decided to practice opera in the shower at 4:30 in the morning. I heard every note (he wasn't bad). The hotel is fine for the money, but the sound insulation is horrible. Oh, and the pillows are disturbingly lumpy.

"worst motel I've ever experienced"
This place was a dump! The rooms smelled like an ashtray, the hotel was rundown and it was in the middle of nowhere... stay away!

Only negative thing I would say is that it was Noisy! very close to I 35 plus alot of people coming and going all night long

"Nasty hotel"
The only positive was the manager. The hot tub was not ready for use (Feb 21) until March 1, but he allowed my son and I to use it early. As far as the room goes, brutal. This hotel is right adjacent to a busy freeway and the walls and door were thin enough to hear the traffic all night. The fridge door had a broken top hinge, so you ahd to lift the […] door and place it closed. The room should really be remodelled. We arrived for the free breakfast at 8:15 am, but it was almost empty of all items, and there did not appear to be planning to refill prior to the 9am closing. We made a poor choice in hotel. "Description didn't fit address"
The hotel staff was nice and curteous. The hotel was okay, but a bit old and run down. The pillows were horrible - very hard. I'm thankful the room was non-smoking. The description of the address as downtown was not accurate, there is another Super 8 much closer to downtown so I wound up booking the wrong one. The free breakfast was a nice plus! "super8-austin not a good staff"
The stay at the hotel was not at all a good experience for us.The staff was very rude and did not behave proper.We had to check out on 1/1/2012 and we were 10 min late and the lady on duty said we will not be able to check out and we had to pay for next day as well.
"Nice place to stay"
For the price, this is a really good hotel! The service was great, the rooms were very comfortable, and breakfast was good. Our only complaint is that there is a LOT of noise from the adjacent highway...not much the hotel could do about this:)

It was a nice motel.. right beside HWY 35 was it's only downfall for me.. was noisy. The customer service was awesome.

Location was practical for coming in / leaving Austin. It's not a very good location if you just want to quickly go somewhere (shops, restaurants...) without using a car, as there is no way to cross the interstate for quite some time, and walking next to the main road is not much fun. Staff were friendly, room in good condition. Breakfast was sufficient […] but not quite what was promised (a few of the items on the list just weren't there, at least not in the 3 days that I stayed). Overall ok for a budget city hotel. It was a good location and and reasonable rate for the room. The room had all the amenities and the business center was much appreciated. Breakfast ran out a little early on Saturday. It could have ran a little longer. There is a driver on duty at least on the weekends which was very nice.

"The Hotel in Austin, TX"
The room was supposed to be non smoking; however, due to the hotel had contract rooms, they were not able to relocate us on the same floor, and on the next floor, the room was over the office and had a blank wall in front of it. The first thing that I noticed was all the cig butts at the front. I was told that they come from the people who have to smoke […] in a non smoking room. Also, I was told that all rooms on that side were non smoking; however there certainly were a lot of cigs on the front side. This may account for the smoked in room that we got because of the shortage of non smoking rooms. It certainly was a miserable night as the hotel did not even have any air freshner. We should have gone to another hotel, preferably a total non smoking such as Best Western. Hotels.com should know about the lack of enforcing non smoking rooms at this hotel. Læs mere

"Very satisfied"
Staff was SUPER friendly. Room was clean & modern & bed was very comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the room, so can't really speak to amenities. Breakfast was good.
