Hotel George Washington University Inn har en super beliggenhed med to minutters gang til central metrostation og kun 15 minutters spadseretur til Det Hvide Hus. Hotellet ligger i fredeligt universitetsmiljø. Hotellet har venlig betjening og god service, inkl. gratis internet og fri avis. Udmærket italiensk restaurant i hotellet. Værelser er rummelige, […] men noget slidt, og vedligeholdelsen er i nogle tilfælde ikke op til den forventelige standard. Problemer søges dog løst efter bedste evne. Læs mere

Et udemærket men lidt slidt hotel beliggende i det hyggelige Georgetown, kun 10 minutters gang fra masser af restuaranter og butikker. Mindre end 5 minutters gang til nærmeste Metrostation. Dyr men god parkeringsservice. Morgenmaden er dyr så det anbefales at købe det i en af de nærliggende Deli's.

Det ligger i gåafstand til de vigtigste seværdigheder. Flotte rene værelser, med dejligt indeklima.

Dejligt lidt anderledes hotel beligende i et universitetsområde. Hotellet er beliggende i et roligt og trygt område og ikke langt fra Georgetown - ca 10 min og fra the mall ca 15 - 20 min. Der er ikke mange cafeer, spisesteder i området hvilket dog opvejes af nærheden til Georgetown samt dupont circle. Hotellet ligger ikke ret langt fra universitet og mindre end 5 minutters gang fra Potomac River. Her er dejlig roligt og den hyggelige italienske restaurant, hvor man også kan indtage morgenmaden, i stueplanet er et klart plus.

Although my stay was okay, I have been to better hotels. The location was okay but I wasn't too impressed with the service and there was no AC. I am happy the weather was rather cool.

Had some issues with the heat ...but staff brought up heater promptly.

enjoyed the quite location....with available suite...kitchen....near subway....Whole Foods...restaurants....enjoyed that they had a washer and dryer available for those of us who like to travel light.....Taxis were always nearby when needed....walking distance to the Lincoln Monument

5 minute walk to Lincoln Memorial,Block and a half to the Metro. Whole Foods Market is 2 blocks away and a must visit if you are a family or are looking for healthier snacks. Great junk food too. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The on site restaurant was reasonable. I stayed at the GWU Inn while attending an event at the Kennedy Center. It's no frills with large rooms. Staff were helpful when I encountered them, but you don't even go past the front desk to go to your room, so you don't have a lot of interaction. Great location for lots of sights. There's a Whole Foods three blocks away (on the GWU Campus) and fridges […] in the room so seems like it would be great for families. Læs mere

Great Location. Close to Metro and Whole Foods. Quick walk to Geargetown for Dinner. Good Dining in Italian Bistro on site, but no room service. We went to whole Foods and got food for Breakfast/ Lunch and kept Milk/juice in Fridge. Not a lot of Dining choices in immediate area, but again, G-town is about 4-5 blocks away with great dining on the Patomic. […] (Sequioa Steaks/Seafood, and Burbon Steak House in the 4 Seasons). Hotel was a bit noisey, but we had kids of our own and we were in town for Spring Break/Cherry Blossom Festival/ College Convention. Recomend the 7 day short Metro pass. Metro is easy, efficient, clean and safe. Plus the short pass got us everywhere we needed to go- Arlington to Federal Triangle to L'Enfant Plaza. Also recomend the River Cruise from DC to Mt. Vernon. Relaxing trip down the Patomic on a lesser traveled route. Great if you don't have a car. Hotel gets a B+. Great Location, but no room service. Læs mere

The only thing that I didn't like was the pillow. The mattress was good but the pillow was not. Staff was helpful and the location was fine. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in DC

the $15 buffet breakfast was terrible, service slow, quality of food very poor, ie undercooked tough sausage, dismal eggs. I would never eat there again and it detracted from the overall impression of thehotel.

Went to visit colleges. It was in a perfect location. We parked off site which they were very helpful with. Would stay again

I attended a meeting in the center (Federal Triangle) of Washington DC. The location of GWU Inn worked for me 100%. I took the Metro from the Dulles Airport to the hotel and then everyday to the meeting and back. At the end of my trip I took the Metro to the R.Reagan Airport to leave the city. I was able to walk around the friendly neighborhood at night. […] M Street (which is the shopping/ entertainment center of Georgetown) is only a few blocks away from the Hotel. The frontdesk staff were always very helpful. The room was cleaned everyday to make it look and feel fresh at the end of the day. Highly recommended... Læs mere

The George Washington University Inn is a great place to stay if you're in DC. It's about a block from the Foggy Bottom Metro station, in a beautiful neighborhood, close to lots of stuff, and my room was huge. I will definitely consider staying here if future business travel brings me to DC on the Blue or Orange lines.

The GWU Inn is very close to campus and the hospital. My son goes to the Univ and it is very convenient to the school and transportation. Parking is a little pricey, but we got it for the convenience. The room was very clean and the front desk and valets very professional. Would stay again.

The Metro stop is much closer than it looks on the map, as is Pennsylvania Avenue from the back door. The room was spacious, but lacked a coffee table or end table for complete comfort. The coverlets were too heavy for our unseaonable warm weather. It took running into the engineer in the elevator to get a light fixed after two complaints to the front […] desk. Pros: +Neighborhood is charming, quiet, beautiful +Close to metro, shops, busses +Comfortable bed +Fridge and microwave in the room +Front desk staff very nice and helpful +Recycling made easy Cons: -Hotel hard to find (signage not very apparent) -Felt like my grandmother's "independent living" apartment from 1978. Windows, layout, bathroom, hallways […] all very dated. Actually, I think it is the same tub she had, plastic liner, fixtures and all. -Room layout fine for sleeping, but not for work or relaxing other than lounging on the bed. Overall, good for those on vacation with family who want a big room and comfortable bed after a full day of walking around. The small desk, straight chair and odd layout makes it less than ideal for working. Would give it a miss if you're looking for luxury. Læs mere

only 2 complaints: restaurant wasn't open the day we were there (Monday) and parking was expensive. I asked ahead of time and booking service indicated parking was included--it wasn't!

Aside from the prime location a short walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro, the hotel itself has ideal accommodations, generous staff, and an extremely comfortable feeling about it. In comparison to the many other DC area hotels, it has the best bang for the buck when all things are considered. Our family found this The George Washington University Inn very nice. In fact every time we got into the elevator my husband said "This is a nice hotel." Close to subway, Kennedy Center and easy to get around town. Clean, small, quiet. A great Italian Restaurant on premises. A clean and very spacious room. An excellent value.

Some of the most friendly staff I've encountered.

The staff at the GWU Inn was very helpful. They reserved a cab to take me to the airport at a very early hour, and they printed my board pass for free. The room was spacious and quiet and clean. The Inn is a very short walk to the university and to a Metro station.

The staff were rude and unresponsive, there were hidden fees/charges, I will not return nor will I recommend this hotel

We stay here very often on our visits of GWU. close to metro and georgetown, all walking distance. Very nice hotel.

This hotel is always my first choice when I am in Washington. The location is very close to the Foggy Bottom Metro station, which makes getting around easy. It is a short walk to Georgetown as well. We stayed at this hotel on New Year's Eve - very pleasant stay, clean and comfortable, a biut different than your normal chain hotel with a bit more upscale atmosphere but for a great price. The hotel staff was very helpful, even moved their car from a nearby street parking space so that I could use it myself and avoid the valet fees. Our recent stay at the GWU Inn was as good as it gets. Great room with plenty of space for us and our child. The service by all employees was top notch. Parking was pretty tight but again they took care of all the trouble. Only minutes walk to the metro and many other attractions.

Great place!

Walk to the Kennedy Center, the metro, Whole Foods. Very clean, professional, and accommodating. Highly recommend.

The service I received from the front desk .. made my weekend great. A young man answered all my questions and made great suggestions.

Few hotels offer the kind of value for money that the GWU Inn offers consistently.

Large room, nice neighborhood and just a few minutes walk to the hospital. My only complain was that a few of the outlets in my room had seen better days. Had to search around for one that would hold my cellphone charger in the socket.
