Asked for a non-smoking room, but the whole place reeked of cigarette smoke...the lobby, the rooms, the pool area. The room was very small. The beds were comfortable enough and the TV worked. Glad it was only one night.

An older hotel but service was friendly and prompt and room was as clean as any three star that I have ever stayed at. The hotel is righ on the I45 access road but it was very quiet in the back rooms in which we stayed. Free breakfast was just as expected but saved $5+ each morning by not having to go to a Denny's. Great value for the money!

This motel seemed to be primarily patronized by truckers and construction workers. No harm in that but it was difficult to maneuver into and out of the parking lot at times because of the number of large trucks parked in the lot. Our closet smelled horribly of mildew as did the carpet near the door. Even though our reservation was for 3 people, there […] were only 2 bath towels in the room when we arrived, so we had to ask for more and had to specifically request hand towels and washcloths - a full set of towels was not offered. The staff was not unfriendly, but certainly not overly helpful either. I think I just picked the wrong place to stay. I'm sure how they do things works for their normal clientele; it was just inconvenient for us. They are also right on the I-45 service road and the surrounding area is pretty run down. Læs mere

It was worth the money. I got what I paid for.

Even though several of the guest and the neighborhood was on the seedier side, The room was comfortable and the staff was very polite.

I think that for the price it is a good bargain. The staff is friendly and helpful. Is modest but good. Breakfast is good. Common areas should be better clean. If I go back to the area I won't hesitate to stay in this hotel.

Hotel staffs were friendly and courteous. The rooms were kept clean, except for the rugs. The first room had a really strong ordor like a wet dog, because the room had a closed door with wet rug and no air condition running. The 2nd room had air conditioning running, so the ordor was not as strong. Similar condition is in 2 other rooms we had. We stayed […] the night, because it is already mid-night, but the ordor is still not acceptable the next morning. The condition of the rug in the guest rooms is un-acceptable and need to be replaced. Nice hotel, area leaves a little to be desired. It's brand new so I expected the place to be clean, etc. but the pool was locked up? You have to get your key renewed every day if you stay more then one day? It's only accessable from the Richley exit off access rd from I45. Not much in the way of restr.'s & shopping near bye. Bring, pans, bowls, spoons, […] knifes, etc none provided if you need to cook or fix something in room, although the rm has kitchen, refr. & microwave etc. Nice big flatsreen! Læs mere

This hotel is worth spending the additional $10, for being by far superior to the Venetian Inn (which I would not recommend). Free breakfast consists of "make your own fresh waffle", yogurt (sometimes), bananas, cereals, french toasts, bagels, muffins, peanut butter, jelly, cream cheese, coffee, and juice. Watch out for the WiFi connection! In some […] rooms, it works great, but in others, it does not. My room (159), all the way to the end, did not have any reception, while rooms closer to the front desk seem to have a normal reception. The outside of the building doesn't look like much but the rooms are clean and comfortable. I couldn't ask for much more for the price.

The room was barely livable. Carpets and door were filthy. Sheets looked and smelled clean but I wouldn't break out the luminal and blacklight out of fear. TV had no reception.

They accept small pets without an extra charge, have good selection at breakfast even for gluten intolerant

We liked the motel room itself. The only problem for me was the exterior corridors. The freeway noise penetrated the door very easily. Otherwise, very roomy and clean. The bed was very comfortable-not too firm nor too soft. A refrigerator with a freezer would be great.

i let a camera in my room afer i had checked our. called 2 days later and the staff located my item & said they would mail it to me.

The hotel was right off the freeway, they are pet friendly and provide breakfast.

nice hotel, but exterior rooms. people on breezway all night causing noise... i prefer interior halls that are better for security and noise reduction.

Unlike the other reviews there was security on the premise; surveying the parking lot. The room seen to be a little on the warned side. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

I was satisfied with the room and the hotel in general. The staff was helpful and straightened out the reservations which got snarled up somehow.

Nothing fancy about this hotel, but if you're looking for a budget hotel close to Houston International, this is one of the best. Pet-friendly too!

we woke up in the morning only to find little black bugs in the floor in the bathroom area and on our bed. we went to the office and showed them and they gave us an upgraded room. they were on top of the problem and professional about it. if the maids dont tell them,how are they suppose to know that the problem exist..i would recommend this hotel. just […] an isolated incident... Lets say bed bugs

The hotel location and setup was fair. The design was nice. The clients were less than desirable. People with Crips tattoos, etc., guys selling stuff out of their trunk. The room had a slight odor. But the worst part was a half eaten chicken bone under the edge of my bed. Room wasnt ready when I got there. Had drivin all night and had to sit for half […] an hour when I got in. The room was neat but smelled badly of mildew. The toilet would not flush and over flowed. They did offer another room when we mentioned the smell but we were already unpacked and settled in. Maintenance did come quickly to fix the toilet. They seem to be trying.

It looks like some fishy stuff goes in there! was not a good experience. noise, police, drunks.

I have stayed in this hotel several times over the last 18 months; bearing in mind the price it is very acceptable. Internet is NOT stable in some rooms. Staff very pleasant.

Firstly, it is located in a place where there has prostitution going on. Secondly the room supposedly had been cleaned but there was corona bottles still in the trash. The television wasn't working had to watch one channel after finally just turning the television off.

The room was ok. The channel selection on the TV sucked. All sports and 3 tv channels. Other than that I guess it was ok.
