La Quinta Inn Dallas Uptown - Dallas

About the 12th time I've stayed there. I do it mainly for the location-Henderson/Knox streets are a happening place! Great restaurants, bars and shopping galore within EASy walking distance! Careful for your car tho. I had mine broken into in broad daylight on their back parking lot. I now ALWAYS park out front where things stay busy.

Old and very noisy at night

Great location. A bit noisey from the highway but really didn't bother me too bad. Good food near by and easy highway access. Would recommend

The people that work there are very friendly. The room was comfortable. It is right on the service road of the highway and seems to be in a sketchy area. A car window was broken of a fellow guest during my first night. I had a leaky toilet that maintenance tried to fix the next day but still was not completley gone. Very nice staff and great restaurants on Henderson - Dickey's BBQ and La Hacienda in walking distance

A hotel room w/o a microwave and refrigerator doesn't make any since. I wasn't told before I arrived that I wouldn't have those things.

It was a very nice and clean room located in a very good location. It was within walking distance of local bars, restaurants, and shops. The hotel associates were friendly and helpful in providing local information. I would stay here again.

The room was great, the bed and pillows were fantastic! The towels did not reflect the recent upgrades of the rom, the towels were rough like sandpaper. The breakfast area was clean and inviting and all of the staff that we encountered were extremely helpful and polite.

Very nice, has been updated and in a good location, many places to eat /drink with in walking distance.. clean room.. nice looking pool (we didnt use it but it looked nice) breakfast was basic but there is a Dennys next door (of course)

I've stayed at other la quinta's Abd this one was BAD!!!

It was a good, quality for the price the location was perfect for me. they could improve the cleaning. but over all if I need it in the future I will use it again.

Nice hotel, convenvient location. Friendly staff. Only problem was did not receive the wake up call in the morning that was asked for. Would stay here again.

The hotel was located within a mile of great shopping areas and diners, however the hotel itself was just adequate. The bathroom was cramped and the towels were worn thin. The beds also seemed to be smaller than the queen size that we requested. There isn't a good place to take your dogs out even though the hotel allows pets. Quite cosy hotel, a bit noisy. Need always taxi to anywhere. 'Plastic breakfast' pretty good, coffee not.. Would appreciate minibar in the room. Television did not work properly. Rate for single was quite a lot.

Dallas downtown is not very interesting. This area, Oak lawn, in uptown however is in walking distance from restaurants and very near shops also. Shopping centre North Park Lane is approximately a 10 minute drive north of the hotel.

A decent no-frills hotel in a very nice area just outside downtown Dallas. The proximity of the highway and in practice no sound insulation in the windows makes the rooms rather noisy and the breakfast is a rather poor one. The hotel room is in a very nice neighborhood with good eat out option just merely a block away, but the service was a little disappointing. I stayed there for four days and both my roommate and I had problems with the wireless internet connection almost everyday. Nice, clean, bathroom a little small The location worked out perfect for our group since we were there for St. Patrick's Day Parade/Concert, we actually walked from hotel to avoid parking nightmares, about a 20 minute walk to Energy Square. Hotel rooms have outside entrances and close to a major highway. Quite noisy...hard to get to sleep. Clean room and friendly front desk staff. Older decor and furnishings. Average breakfast. Good coffee... Close to Dallas Uptown where you have plenty of food choices. Grocery store and pharmacy close by. Hotel is near main roads which can be noisy. I didn't have a problem with the noise and I was on the from side of the hotel near the clean pool. Front desk folks were pleasant. Room was clean and the TV was excellent. Breakfast was free and fresh. Best part was that local restaurants were in walking distance and plentiful. Short walk to Monk's Pub (great […] food and beer selection) on the other side of the highway there was plenty of shopping and restaurants..walk or drive. Hotel staff was very helpful at check-in. The room left a lot to be desired. Hot water took almost 5 minutes to come out in the shower; then became scalding unexpectedly. Neighbor above took a shower and we heard the grinding sound in the pipes for the duration. Although non-smoking, the room smelled like it used to be a smoking room. No complaints

Acceptable hotel for a budget traveler who needs no frills, but I'd imagine you could find something cheaper if that's all you want. If I did it again, I would pay a few bucks more and stay at a nicer hotel.

I wasn't expecting much from this stay but from check in to check out everything was amazing for the price we paid. The reception was friendly and fast, the room was very comfortable and the AC worked great. I would definitely stay here again for a convention in the Dallas area.

O hotel é simples, mas confortável e o café da manhã é básico. Nos deram um quarto cheirando a cigarro, mas trocaram a nosso pedido. Houve um problema no check-in, mas que também foi solucionado e compensado com uma cortesia no "late check-out". A localização é longe do centro, mas tem boas opções de restaurante bem próximos do hotel.
