I LOVED LOVED LOVED the bed and pillows. They were the MOST comfortable bed and pillows ever in any hotel. If I could have I would have taken them home with me with me! The staff were also outstanding, friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in interacting with guests in a upbeat and positive manner. If I have to visit Bryan again I will stay here […] FOR SURE. "Um....Maybe not"
The hotel was in a convenient location. Staff was pleasant and professional. However, Dated to me means architecture, style of furnature and fixtures. This place is in bad need of maintenance and repair. And not to mention, in need of an exterminator. I've stayed in many La Quintas before but will probably not stay here again.

Did not sleep a wink. The open lay-out with an outdoor pool, which was full of loud kids, is not condusive to getting rest on a business trip. I will not stay there again.

Old, run down, semi's park on street next to rooms with their refrigeration units running all night and during day. Very noisy & annoying. Old run down furnishings. Spend more and get a good nights sleep somewhere else!
The room was ok for a night but the cleaniness of the room wasn' t that great. The floors were filthy. The beds were ok .

"Get what you pay for"
Rooms have thin walls. Very noisy to me when others are in next room or above. Didn't get very good rest on a Friday night. Not very satisfied with rooms here but staff was pleasant.

This La Quinta Inn is an older property that has been updated and appears well maintained. The location is immediately across the street (Texas Ave) from TAMU which made it really convenient for getting to activities on campus and around campus. Make no mistake, this is not a Resort but it served it's purpose well. Anyone familiar with hotel rooms in […] College Station and Parent weekend will appreciate this last comment. There are several dirt hole hotels in the area and this is NOT one of them. It was a decent room and accommodation all things considered. Free Internet worked flawlessly and was actually a quick connection. Parking was very full each night and I can imagine that some people may have had issues getting a space near their room. We were fortunate to get a space though not right next to the room, it was not all that far. The free breakfast was adequate. No cook to order eggs or anything warm except for the waffles. They also had oatmeal packets that you could prepare. Coffee, tea, milk juices cereal, breads, sweet rolls and waffles pretty well sums it up. Although the outside of the hotel looks a little worn, the rooms are clean and updated. If you are looking for somewhere comfortable to lay your head, dealing with a friendly staff, all for a moderate cost then this is the place for you.

Room was clean, staff was nice. All ice machines were broken - had to use one at a property across the street. AC didn't cool all that well.

The La Quinta is very close to Texas A & M University and is centrally located. It is close to restaurants which are in very close walking distance.
We found our room attractive and clean. The staff was friendly, polite and responsive to our needs. However, the low flow toilets were a problem in that they did not work well. In fact, they didn't work. They need to be replaced.

"Good for the price"
We stayed two nights at this hotel and we had absolutely no issues. There are much nicer places very near by, but unless you are looking for lots of frills (instead of just a nice place to sleep), this hotel is fine.

Hotel, itself, was a little run down, because of the age.. but the rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable.. Will stay there again..

Housekeeping at this place was terrible. I walked into a room late at night with trash overflowing the wastebaskets, no soap, no towels, lights that didn't work and filth on the floors. Ended up changing rooms and the new one was only marginally better. Do not book this place!

Room and bed were comfortable. Bathroom floor was very slippery and was the tub. No handrail on the inside of the tub. This was THE location for staying in College Station for a football game. We walked to the stadium, Dixie Chicke, etc. It was a lot more convenient than driving the car. Parking was hard to come by as the football game time approached so was very thankful for the ability to walk everywhere. Saved a lot of headaches. Will definitely use this hotel again. The room was very large in comparisons to other hotels. Staff was excellent. Would recommend this hotel. This hotel accepted pets without any extra charge and that was the icing on the cake
"Fine place to sleep"
This is not a fancy hotel. It's a clean, quiet, conveniently located motel-like La Quinta. Everyone was really nice (which is pretty common in College Station) and the room was decent. We stayed here one night, weren't in our hotel room very much, and were pleased with the stay. The place was nasty and I didn't feel safe at all with my daughter and her friend. My daughter just played 18 holes of golf at Texas A & M and was sunburned and we could not get the room cool at all. It was 3 am before we got to sleep because it was so hot in the room. Then we had to get up and play 18 holes of golf at Miramont. "Disappointed - poor housekeeping"
Upon arrival the room looked nice and clean. That night we realized we had no bath towels. We had to go get them ourselves and when leaving our room, the top door lock broke off. It was never repaired during our stay even though we reported it. The next day they put out more coffee packets (sugar, creamer, etc) but with ones that had been opened and […] partially used. "The hotel was to far out from the highway."
I had a CPAP unit that I had plugged up to the main plug unit. It had been unplugged from the way i had done it. Plus the last day when I came back to the room I could not get any of the lights to come on in the room. Apparently the light bulb could have been burned out. Our rooms were across the street from the main motel building. Guests were partying outside our room untill 3 am in the morning. could not get any sleep or help.
