Embassy Suites Hotel Baltimore at BWI Airport - Linthicum Heights

Staff: friendly & helpful. Outside: nicely landscaped/free of litter. Lobby looked nice. Some chain and a few unique restaurants within a mile or so. Several groups with small children and a girls travel basketball team also staying at the hotel, but with the bedroom in the back and a door between, we were not disturbed by the boisterous youth. Our […] room was clean, but bubbling paint on the ceiling of the bathroom, peeling wallpaper in some spots, and what appeared to be a few burns and small stains on the duvet cover (not initially visible due to the sheet covering the duvet cover when the bed is made). Outside temps were in the upper 80's and though our room thermostat was set to 72, it seemed much warmer. We lowered it but the humidity never got removed from the air. We went out and purchased a fan to keep the air moving. Nice water feature with koi (fish) in the bar area, but it was under repair and not very attractive during our stay. Wifi was not free, it's an extra $9.95 per 24 hours, which given the cost of the room seems like something they should throw in. We were given free passes to a manager’s reception as part of our stay - a complimentary drink and snacks (chips and salsa/cheese, Goldfish crackers, savory pub mix). Free passes to breakfast buffet, but we did not partake. At no time did it appear the restaurant was open - or at least we never saw anyone dining there or smell food being prepared - breakfast, lunch or dinner. Læs mere

We stayed here for one night before traveling to DC. The shuttle was awesome. It made everything so convenient. It took us to the light rail where we were able to pick up a $3.50 all day pass that took us where we wanted to go in Baltimore.

It was an overnight stay for my husband and I just to get away and relax and that's exactly what we did. We loved the managers reception and the breakfast buffet was excellent! We look forward to our next visit at the Embassy Suites!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. We just arrived on a sat afternoon in time for the manager's reception that the front desk staff informed us of, which was a nice way to unwind after checking in. Breakfast in the AM was the best complementary breakfast I have ever had with hot foods that included a made to order omlet station. The only bump in my stay […] was that housekeeping was very persistent about cleaning the room. We were preparing to leave at check out and house keeping continuously came back to see if we had left with one time coming into the room before I could answer the door, all before noon. This is the 4th Embassy I have stayed in and the first time any part of my stay hasn't been terrific! Pro's: Great value, Good Breakfast, Great to have the manager's reception. The Con's: Pull out sofa bed was damaged, the corner of the mattress was falling thru the springs, we didn't say anything, we lived with it. The shuttle drivers were not timely […] at all. We actually had to wait outside a rest for 40min. for a pick after we called! Unacceptable. Serious shortage on plates at the buffet line. However the worst CON was the pool and all it's rules! I had to toss out my coffee one morning because no beverages allowed! What? My coffee???? They also wouldn't allow my soon to be 13 year old in the pool! Must be 16! They hated this hotel. I reservered a smoking room about a month ago. When I got to the hotel, they told me that there was no more smoking rooms. I wanted to cancel my reservation because taking an elevator just to walk outside to smoke every hour is not my idea of fun. Unfortunately, could not cancel because i can't get my money back if I cancel, even though they messed […] up. Wasn't expecting much but a room to crash in for a nite, but was pleasantly surprised to see more than that...very nice hotel with friendly staff and spacious suites. Full breakfast bar the next morning at no additional charge was also a nice touch...good job all.

We vacationed 3/30/13 - 4/7/13 for a baseball vacation taking in five ballparks in six days. Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia. Stayed in five hotels. By far Embassy Suites was best. With three adult travelers the hotel provided a suite with two beds in one bed room and a fold out sofa in another room, two flat screens, […] dining in the bar late night to steak dinner and drinks, a free breakfast buffet so you don't knock yourself out trying to find places to eat. Our utility company needed to make upgrades to the sytem in our neighborhood and therefore, had to cut power for the day. We decided on a "staycation", as the hotel was only 15 miles from our home. I'm glad we made the decision. The accomodations were large, comfortable and clean. This was a nice hotel. The name is really known for classy and nice and this is a hotel where the rooms and the amenities are dated. The place was clean and it was a good night stay but I would have expected more from the overall cleanliness and the decor in my room. However it was a good stay and a great price so all in all it was nice.

Decor was pretty outdated, but room was clean. Free drinks from 5 - 7 and free breakfast was nice. Dinner was decent and wait staff was very hospitable. Koi pond in the lobby for the kids and an indoor pool. Karaoke and piano bar til 7:30 or so was fun. Shuttle provider was very helpful. The hotel was good, rooms were relatively clean and overall it was a good stay. The strange, thing is, there was nothing *wrong* with this hotel, but it's not quite up to Embassy Suites standards. It must be one of their first, because it's a little dingy, a little dark. Breakfast food was mediocre and manager's reception was a cattle call with beer […] involved. I loved my stay at the Embassy Suites Hotel near BWI. My only complaint is that paying $10 a night per device to log on to the internet adds up over a five night stay. If you are planning on having your laptop, tablet, and another device hooked up to the internet, you may want to look for a different place rather than paying $30 a day.

beautiful hotel only a quick easy drive to inner harbor. kids loved watching the planes land and take off from the airport out of our window. loved the extra bedroom, let the adults stay up later and watch tv. kids loved the pool and see thur elevators.

What I love about this hotel is the REAL suite! A separate bedroom with a door that closes so one person can read or work or watch TV and the other can sleep.

The hotel is very impressive with the Atrium style entrance to the hotel's main restaurant that sits in the middle of everything. Rooms are large and clean.
