Meget centralt beliggende hotel med pæne værelser og en god service. Dejlig morgenmadsbuffet.

Godt hotel med alle nødvendige faciliteter og god beliggenhed. Men små værelser....

Vi havde 4 fantaske overnatninger og var fuldt ud tilfredse med det hele. Beliggenheden kan ikke være mere central og værelset som vi havde booket (dobbeltværelse med 2 enkeltsenge) er af en størrelse, som giver albuerum. Morgenmadsbuffeten bliver hele tiden fyldt op og der er alt hvad hjertet kan begære. Meget tilfredsstillende.

This hotel is literally just outside central station - which is great if you have children and luggage and don't want the inconvenience of trying to find your hotel in a new city. Even though it is in a busy area, we didn't hear any traffic noise or train traffic - we loved the location. It is close to lots of eating places but not the smaller more […] upmarket types of restaurants. The hotel room itself was great and i found the staff on reception very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and similar to what you find at other Radisson hotels. It wasn't busy apart from at the weekend when it seemed that every conceivable table was busy - maybe the staff could help seat you when its that busy but they seemed to be busy enough trying to make sure the food was kept topped up - and as it turned out a table became available pretty much straight away - we were there 4 days and it was only the last day it was like this - can imagine it would be pretty annoying if it was like this every day. I deliberatly booked the hotel for location, since I went away with my 2 friends for a long weekend in Stockholm, since we are all grown women we wanted two Queen beds in our hotel room, so we could share one, and the 3rd person had one bed to herself. When booking via hotel.com it gave me the option for either one King Bed and one Fold out Bed or two […] Queen Beds. So naturally I took the two queen. However upon arrive at the hotel, there were no two queen beds available and the staff were very unfriendly about this topic. Further more the family room we had booked seemed a bit old. The room was very nice and the location was superb. I would highly recommend this hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

We were really happy with this hotel, great service and solid location in the heart of Stockholm. The bathrooms for the restaurant and bar were pretty nasty though..

Very close to the station but there are much better hotels nearby (within 200m). If you want to stay at a Radisson near the station go for the newer Radisson Waterfront instead. The room was small, dated with a significant amount of noise from the road and bridge outside. Perfect Located right next to the Arlanda Express train in the city center. Friendly Staff. Rather small but nicely equipped rooms, expensive breakfast, but all in all a very nice hotel. When you book "off peak" the price and quality matches very well.

Hotel is located no more than 1 minute walk from the main station. Lobby area is nicely decorated. Originally had an old style room which was dark and depressing. Changed this for a more updated room which had nice furniture and bathroom. The room was quiet. Very small thou. Fine if you have a small case for a weekend break but nothing bigger. Friends […] were staying on level 5 and the rooms they were in were a disgrace. Half of the floor was being refurbished and all you could smell was a sewage like smell. Fantastic location, right near Central Station. Compliments a beautiful city.

Excellent location right in the centre and next to the train station. Easily walkable to Gamla Stan as well as the main high street and the hotel itself is very well kept and up to date. The rooms themselves are a little compact but very comfotable. The reception staff were also very helpful all the time. A good place to stay.

Great location , close to train station and to the shopping area

the biggest positive in the hotel is the super friendly staff and excellent service. Negative was a rather "worn out" room, dirty coffee cups in the room a very crowded breakfast place. The location of the hotel is perfect and I am confident that it is a place to go to once they finished the renovation.

We were quite happy with our stay, and would recommend this hotel. It is particularly handy to for connections, both city transport and to/from the airport.

Friendly at the reception, but not particularly knowledgeable. They didn'r know, for example, that the transfer bus from central Stockholm to the Silja and Tallink ferries leaves from a spot less than a block from their door.

Excellent choice for a 4 day break. Central location..near train station and most of the sights. Everything you need for a restful stay. All needs taken care of by helpful and courteous staff.

We enjoyed a night at this hotel last month, having stayed there in the past. It is extremely well located, right near Central Station and the buses to the airport, so the slightly higher room rates on the other surrounding hotels are offset by not having to pay for taxis to and from the station or the airport. The only downside is that the hotel is rather 'tired' in its decor and fittings, eg no safe in the rooms. The check in clerk told us that it will be undergoing a refurbishment in the near future. Great convenient location to the city center and the old town. No need for use of public transport. The breakfast is to die for, amazing array of dishes. Rating 5, without a doubt!

Great location for using the Swedish rail system. Conveniently located to almost everything and a very comfortable hotel with American standards. Breakfast buffet cannot be beat! Will probably stay again next year.

The Radisson Royal Viking is located adjacent to the Central Station of Stockholm and one block from the official tourist information office. This is a great location! It's convenient to all modes of public transportation and easy walking distances to the old historic center, Gamla Stan, and the central shopping district. This hotel is old and disorganized in how it is run. The times it takes to get serviced was very long for internatiinal standards and many of the staff uninterested and arrogant. We enjoyed our stay. So perfect if you are taking the tran in from the airport. Central station is right out the door. We walked to most sites we wanted to see and rented bikes. Loved it

This hotel is located steps away from the central train station and a couple of blocks from a great shopping area. The rooms were larger than in other hotels we stayed at in Sweden, and they had a sizable gym and a pool available as well. The staff was very friendly. Our stay here was just a stop over, 1 night and regret now that it was so short. Our room was wonderful and so spacious and comfortable. Yes the hotel was okay, the beds were fantastic. but there is no way I would say this hotel should be a five star hotel. some of the bed sheets were not 100% clean the shower doors was not clean. if you ask me if I go there again I would say perhaps I will try others. Thanks,

Not what you expect of a 5 Star hotel, ambience of typical rail station hotel which in fact is what it is no more than 4 star hotel staff not to helpful and flexible outrageous parking fees and no complimentary internet access

fantastic hotel right in the centre of stockholm. less than 5 mins walk from bus and train stations. Everything within easy walking distance. Great hotel would definately stay again.

Excellent location, 100 m from the Central railway Station and 10 min walk from main city attractions.

This hotel is a top quality venue, in a great location withing easy walking distance of major attractions and next to major transport links. The rooms have comfortable beds and good facilities although can be a little small if you need to work at any time. we had a room with i window against the central light garden and you had no felling of the weather outside. the room had no lap in the sealing also a bit dark . outher vise was it good everthing.

the lobby and bar are great, the location is terrific. there is a train stop just behind the hotel that goes back and forth from the airport, and it is pretty easy to catch trains to everywhere else. short walks in the evenings will take you to a lot of great restaurants. the rooms are a little outdated for a radisson blu designation IMO, and the […] breakfast is only so-so. i've stayed here a couple of times now, and i will probably stay here again. Stayed here on February 26th for one night. Have been to Stockholm many times but this was our first time to stay at the Radisson. We could have booked a cheaper hotel but decided to treat ourselves. Hotel is very conveniently located around the corner from the bus/train station and tube and a short stroll to the Haymarket. Check-in was fast and efficient. […] Nice quiet hotel. Room was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Surprised to find an old style tv in the room although perfectly acceptable. Our room looked out onto the main street which at 3.30 a.m. was very noisy if you sleep with your window open! We had a drink in the hotel's 'Sky Bar' on the 9th floor which has a nice view of the city. If you're going to do it, leave your coats in your room as it will cost you €2 per coat to check them in! Usual over-priced cocktails, fine for one drink! There is also a bar in the lobby of the hotel where you can people watch! We didn't eat in the hotel but went to the Old City instead. Our room rate did not include breakfast. No problem, there's a McDonalds opposite and a Max on the same street and plenty of other little places to eat. Checkout was fast and efficient.
