Hotel was fairly clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, pool was nice, but hot tub was not working

The hotel was average. We booked the room for 5 people and they do not have cots or roll aways. They also advertise free breakfast. It is for 2 people. The pool was cloudy and heated, the hot tub didn't have much whirlpool at all. There is a large outdoor pool that was not in use when we were there. Overall, an average stay at an average hotel.

I thought the hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. Didn't use the indoor pool but it look like alot of people were enjoying themself. Would use the hotel again if needed. We where down there for a cheerleading competition.

Convenient location. Good for the price. Would stay again.

Rude receptionist. Hotel lobby and rooms smell like cigarette smoke. Rooms are ok but bathrooms have molds all over the tub and tiles. Totally not worth the price.

Although, the hotel was easy to find and certainly comfortable, I have to say that I cut my foot in the bathtub on a peice of glass embeded in the bath mat.. I made the frint desk aware of this on checkout also providing them with the shard of glass I removed from my foot.... Although, they showed some concern healthwise after the fact, the never offerred […] any kind of discount for that stay or future stays to ensure I'd come back to Holiday Inn. I had some concerns after reading some of the reviews, but once I got there and checked in, I realized whoever wrote those reviews are people that are use to the Ritz.. The rooms are extremely clean. The location was great. The indoor pool was suppose to close it 10, but they keep it open til 10:30 because we checked in at 9:30 and the kids told the […] receptionist they were looking forward to using the pool. We were there looking at a college and I already know, if my daughter goes to that school, this is the hotel we will use all the time. No doubts. The room was very nice and I enjoyed the indoor pool. It was an actual heated pool and was very comfortable. My wife was very pleased with the hot tub.

the bed was uncomfortable and the strip that the hotel was on had nothing but a gas station, liquor store, a couple of small restaurants. Nothing much to do close by, no late (11 am) night spots to grab a snack or supplies. Not even the McDonalds. The CVS wasnt 24 hours either. However, I was there for Six Flags New England and it was in close proximity […] to that. A hop on the highway and just about 2 miles away. Hotel restaurant was expensive but it did have a bar, which was cool to me. indoor and out door pool, basket ball court, gaazebo, shuffle board all a plus. My room had a good view of those. Our stay was for just one night. Overall, the experience was pretty good. The hotel was very clean, staff was extremely friendly, bed was very comfortable. There are 2 pools as well as tennis and basketball outside. There's also an affordable Pub with full menu and great full breakfast buffet each morning. Our only complaints were that we had just half […] a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and the jacuzzi was out of order (and had been for 3 months according to another guest). Also- Hotels.com lists this hotel as 2 miles from Six Flags, it's in fact about 15 minutes away- but in a very nice area opposed to staying in Springfield which is essentially a ghetto laden with gangs. very clean, neat, close to 6 flags, felt safe

Being there during the tornado was an extra special addition to my stay! The staff at the hotel was very considerate and helpful and the chef was a doll. As we sat in the dining room sipping a glass of wine, he sent us a lovey hors d'oevre to soothe our nerves. The pool was dirty inside and outside! The hottub was broken and does not work!! The bathroom shower was dirty and the water did not go down... The vending machines did not work. People making so much noise at 3am and knocking on people's doors and running! Wish I got my money back not worth it!!

Terrible hotel. break ins in the parking lot. non working jacuzzi. There was a hockey tournament in town, children running around the hotel with no supervision. Playing hockey in the halls and against the room doors. Staff did nothing about it despite complaints from many guests. The food at the bar/restaurant is terrible. The good: Quiet room. Good temperature control. Fridge and microwave. Good array of TV channels The not so good: No toilet paper Reception was nice, but out of it when I arrived.

Courteous and accommodating staff, room was spotless and had all the amenities. Great location for my business in the Longmeadow/Springfield area. Would come back when I am in town again.

Our family of seven had adjoining rooms for two nights here. This is a nice hotel in a convenient location off of the highway and was close to attractions that we wanted to visit (Six Flags & Basketball Hall of Fame). We were disappointed at check in to learn that the indoor pool and hot tub were being renovated and out of service. Housekeeping was […] a disaster. Our first morning there, they knocked on the door at 8:45am and we asked them to come back later. We left the hotel and headed for Six Flags for the day. We returned around 9:15pm that night to find a bag hanging from door with towels. Housekeeping never cleaned our rooms. It was very disappointing. Læs mere

This hotel was very convenient to I-91 (immediately off the interstate, yet very quiet). We had two adjoing rooms which had been recently renovated. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were renovated and clean, cookies at the front desk. There was a slight smell of sewage from the bathroom drain and on the grounds. Vague, and not enough for me to […] consider irritating. There is still some renovating going on, but it was only evidenced by signs. We saw or heard no construction. The rooms were very quiet! We stayed here at the last minute after finding our MA hotel was also housing homeless, as many MA hotels do as part of a state homeless transition program. There have been many "incidents', so if you plan to stay in MA, I'd advise calling the hotel first and finding out how many homeless they are accommodating Læs mere

The hotel was decent. The breakfast could have been better.

The room was fine -- no complaints. However, the level of care overall left a lot to be desired... 1) The person at the front desk barely said hello. 2) There was a soda/water machine on each of the 5 floors. They were ALL empty. 3) The waitress at breakfast practically refused to give us menus, and insisted that we choose the buffet. This hotel had nice clean and comfortable rooms. The front desk attendants were just ok, not too friendly but decent. There wsa a nice indoor and outdoor pool but the hours were not great. They kicked out about 40 people enjoying themselves when there wasn't even a lifeguard anyways. It was a hot summer day and you pay for a hotel with a pool, you don't […] pay to get kicked out. The hotel is well operated with an attentive staff. However, the restaurant leaves much to be desired. The service is slow and the food unacceptable. I addressed the issue with management who credited my meal to my account. They say that they are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it. This was a great hotel near six flags. It was very clean and in a great location. I will definately stay at the hotel again the next time I am in the area.

For the price I paid it was not worth the stay. I put down that I had 3 guests staying in the room and when I asked for a cot I was told it could not get one, nor could I get a room that would accomodate our entire part. We also ordered breakfast, firstly it was late and we wanted to start our day, second, it was awful and they forgot things. The staff […] was rather rude as well. I would not recomend this hotel.
