Praktisk tæt på lufthavnen i Long Beach er Long Beach Marriott også tæt på Walter Pyramid, California State University Long Beach og Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden. I nærheden er også Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch and Gardens.

Rigtig god beliggenhed i forhold til LAX og super med shuttle service. Lidt uheldig med swimmingpoolområde var under reperation, vi blev henvist af en lidt smart receptionist til nabohotel, hvor der var mange problemer med at komme ind. Gode værelser.

Virkelig god service fra alt personalet, meget opmærksomme. Dejlig morgen buffet med mange forskellige ting. Svimmingpool området er ok, kunne være mere hyggeligt hvis det var mere tæt buskads ud til hovedvejen evt. sammen med støjdæmpende anordning. Det samme gør sig gældende ved basket banen. Fitnes rummet er meget småt, der er 2 løbebånd og 1 crosstrainer, samt en multimaskine til forskellige øvelser, ikke særlig god. Vaskerummet er ok. Der er rent og pænt alle steder. Madrassen i sengen og sovesofaen kunne være bedre. Et sted vi godt kunne finde på at vælge igen.

Hotellet er lille, men rigtig hyggeligt. Værelserne er rimelig små, men pladsen er udnyttet godt og har alt hvad man skal bruge. Værelserne er pæne, rene og hyggelige. Personalet er super søde og MEGET hjælpsomme. Morgenmadsbuffeten er lille med et lille udvalg, men stadig fin og nok til at starte dagen på. Hotellet ligger et par hundrede meter fra Beverly Centret, som har et hav af butikker (inkl Macy´s og Bloomingdales) og en håndfuld spisesteder. Skråt over for hotellet ligger der også et supermarked/stor kiosk som har åbent 24 timer i døgnet. Beliggenhed er lidt svært at tale om når man er i LA, da byen er kæmpe stor og har mange områder, men Beverly området er et af de pænere områder og Hollywood Boulevard og Sunset Boulevard ligger ca 10 min i bil op af sidegaden. Hotellet kan helt klart anbefales og er et hotel vi godt kunne vende tilbage til hvis vi igen skulle komme forbi LA.

Vi blev opgraderet gratis til en suite, som var rigtig fin, ren og rummelig. Vi valgte stedet pga afstanden til Dinseyland, ellers ville vi ha boet tættere på centrum. Det eneste minus ved stedet var, at det gratis internet desværre ikke virkede i de 5 dage vi var der:( Resten var tip top.

Long Beach er med sin enorme havn centrum for handel og fritid ved Stillehavet. Fragtskibe transporterer importerede varer, luksuskrydstogter afgår til Catalina Island, og Queen Mary, det store, transatlantiske krydstogtskib, ligger opankret i byens bugt. Aquarium of the Pacific ligger i nærheden. Om aftenen er Pine Street og Belmont Shore's Second Street i centrum stedet at gå hen for at blive underholdt.

"Great hotel, but no wireless connection in rooms"
Really nice hotel and restaurant. We missed wireless internet in the room, though. There are wired connections in each room, but that does not help a lot when you arrive with a smart phone and an iPad... We stayed for three nights and had booked a room with marina view, which we did not get the first night. We were given an explanation that sometimes […] hotels.com sells a room that is not available. I doubt this is reason in this case, as we had booked the room several months in advance. Hotellet ligger tæt på lufthavnen og der er en del flystøj. Der er pænt og rent - god service udmærkede faciliteter i form af restaurant, sportsbar. I området er dre en del restauranter.

"Not worth the Marriot Name"
I travel alot on business and found this to be lacking as a Marriot hotel. The Hotel was clean overall and the service was good. The walls of the room were extremely thin. You could hear everything that was going on in the halls which kept me up until about 2 AM. The bed was not comfortable at all. I was extremely disappointed in this as a Marriot. "There is a runway about 500 feet from the hotel"
The hotel is nice, however listening to planes take off from 8 AM until 8 PM is not fun. Just too close to the airport. The staff were wonderful and very helpful Purely a location issue. If thy have rooms not on the runway side, I would ask before I make a reservation.

loved the stay we had here. Wonderful staff, great location and breakfast buffet was outstanding! My son enjoyed the fitness center as well. It was 1 mile from the Long Beach swap meet. 30 minutes from the Garmet District.
"Beautiful Hotel"
this hotel was beautiful. the lobby was gorgeous and the room was even better. the bed was comfortable and our view was right in front of airport so my husband and i got to see planes take out. and the next morning we realized we didn't hear ONE plane. the soundproofing was amazing. we got great sleep and the room service was yummy.
Booked a double, they gave us only one bed and would not wave the fee for a roll away bed.

The hotel is very nice and was decently priced. The location is good as well. However, the room service leaves something to be desired...food was cold, overly priced and undercooked. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Clean, just off the freeway so easy to get to, nice bed, shower, extra shelf in bath area, good amenities, quiet despite having an airport right next door, comfortable bed, nice bedding, no charge for parking, excellent value, good for work.

I really enjoyed my NYE stay at this hotel. very clean and the rooms are soooo comfortable. on top of all that I the hotel had a NYE bash in the hotel so there was no need for me to leave the hotel. I partied and when it was over I walked back to my room.....Thanks Long Beach Marriott you really know how to treat your guest.

"A Good Night's Sleep by the Airport"
We stayed the night at the Long Beach Marriott following a day long of moving to Long Beach. We were exhausted and didn't have the energy to find the linens to make our bed so we went online, found the hotel, and made reservations. We arrived a half hour later, enjoyed a hot shower, a comfy bed, and after a great breakfast, were ready to get back to […] unpacking. Room was one of the nicest I've stayed in Long Beach. Breakfast could be a little bit better by offering plain eggs (the ones they offered had peppers and other unidentifiable bits. The complimentary products in the room are the best I've used in any hotel.

"Almost like home"
This Marriott is comveniently located, the staff are friendly, and it feel safe even late at night. The beds are the most comfortable I've had even at higher priced resorts. There is currently some remodeling going on but this hotel is one I will use again and recommend to others

"Not Happy!!!!!"
I was very disappointed in the hotel. When we arrived we realized that the hotel was under very loud construction in the front of the hotel and the pool area. The people at the front desk were very pleasant when we checked into the hotel. When we got to our room we noticed a very large hole in the carpet. Our room was not cleaned the next day and after […] we called the front desks to get towels, they were never brought to our room. I had to hunt down a member of the housekeeping staff and she was very reluctant to give me more towels and I had to bring the trash cans to her cart so they could be emptied. Upon arrival it was loud as they were remodeling. The fitness center was closed, as was the outdoor fire pit, and hot tub. There were jack hammers going most of the time. Our cooler in the room did not work and none of the staff seemed to know what to do. The next morning the lobby was freezing cold because the air conditioner was on and the switch […] was broken. "Weekend Warrior"
I needed a quick and easy place to stay for the weekend as I had a long Friday and Saturday night. The Hotel was great but I had a 3 rooms full of children in the surrounding rooms who liked to hangout in the hallways and scream,cry, and play:) The view of the airport was great and the thick glass insured I never heard the planes much at all.

Graet that they are doing renovations- would have been nice to know that workout facility under construction as well as indoor pool. Out door pool cold - per phone conversation they stated it was 80 try 65! Was able to use Hoilday inn workout facility - their pool was much warmer

When I called for a shuttle to pick me up from the airport, the driver was there in no time. The room was beautiful. Everybody was very friendly and courteous. I called for room service a couple of times and they were quick, friendly, the food was hot and drinks were cold. Check out was a breeze. I definately would stay there again.
"Unfortunate"
We checked in for two nights and were not informed that the hotel spa was not working and we would not be able to use the pool or pool area during the heat of the day due to a wedding the only full day we were there. This has a unfortunate under sight on the part of hotel management and staff. When I asked why I wasn't informed at the time of check […] in, all I got was that they must have overlooked it. "A little distance from downtown Long Beach"
Nice hotel, right next to Long Beach airport. That being said, you never hear the airport. I heard maybe 5 planes in the two nights we were there. Outdoor pool is nice, but the indoor pool was closed for renovation at the time. If you need to go downtown, though, it's about a 15-20 minute drive. My boyfriend and I had a very nice stay at the Marriott in Long Beach. We came up from San Diego for a tattoo convention. The hotel location was less than 10 miles away from the event. The bed was very comfortable and room had some nice amenities. The room was very nice & not too expensive. There was a lot of loud noise outside, in the hallway and next […] door to us. After a day of traveling from the East Coast, it was so nice to walk into the spacious lobby and be greeted by the polite staff. I didn't have an opportunity to spend much time in the hotel, other than to sleep, but the lobby is lovely, the room was comfortable, and the view of the pool area is very relaxing. We came to the hotel as a group of college mentors and our mentees, and the hotel was fun for the kids and for us as well! The pool was a bit small, not for lap swimming but definitely good for playing and very kid friendly as the deepest end is 5 feet. The rooms were very clean, had giant TV's, a nice view, and WONDERFUL BEDS! They were super soft […] and the blankets and pillows were down, which was awesome, I felt like a princess! We didn't get to explore too much of the hotel, but there was also a nice Starbucks that made amazing mocha ice blend things and also served Alcohol - so it was sort of a coffee-bar hybrid. Overall very enjoyable, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful as well! If you like nature, the hotel is a 10 minute drive away from the El Dorado Nature Center, which was a really neat thing to explore with the kids. Awesome. I would stay again. :) Læs mere

"Marriott in Long Beach"
I just wished they would have told me the indoor pool, gym and jacuzi was closed for maintence until June. I have three small children and the reason for booking this hotel was because of the in door pool. We didn't have to go to a hotel this night. I choose to do this because they enjoy it!
