"Basic hotel"
Overall - pretty basic hotel. Our A/C did not work real well, so kind of put a damper on the stay. Location was fine and staff seemed friendly, nothing stand out.

The beds were UNCOMFORTABLE!!! The room wasn't Clean, hair in the bathroom. I would never stay here again. The lady at the desk was friendly though!
"Very convenient for what I needed."
Clean, comfortable and the service was all great. The only complaint that I have is that the air conditioner made a loud noise every time it kicked on and woke me up several times during the night. Otherwise I was very satisfied.

The room was clean and comfortable. However, the walls looked like they could use a fresh coat of paint. It was roomy and not crowded. It was quiet and comfortable to just sit and relax. Even with Bobbisox in the Hotel it could not be heard from outside the club. We had a lot of fun there too! Breakfast was hot and good. With a decent variety . "clarion stay"
When we got to our room laundry was piled in front of it half way up the door . We could not get in until all the laundry was moved by a cleaning lady. the carpet needed sweeping, wallpaper was peeling off the wall in bathroom, no water pressure in shower, shower curtain bearly hanging on rod, one lamp switch broken. Breakfast was filling, wait staff […] courteous and security guard took care of rodwy people banging on door across from us and I had to call twice on those people but they finally got the message. "Will not return to this hotel again...."
Musty, old smoke smell in an area that was non-smoking. Bathtub would not drain and toilet would not quit running unless you took the tank lid off and juggled the parts. Mattress was lumpy and very uncomfortable. Lines smelled old and musty. T.V. reception was poor. WiFi did not work in our area of the hotel...staff kept trying to reset the Wifi...but […] would only work in the front office area. We had a great stay here while moving my daughter to the area. The Bobbisox lounge was very enjoyable. There is a dress code for the lounge, and I would recommend checking that before going. We will Definately visit them again.

Booked thru hotels.com. Was not informed that our room was in the adjacent building. Not much help from front desk, cancelled one of the rooms due to smell. Won't stay there again. Super 8 next door was worth a one night stay.

The location to the University is great.... We had a relaxing and enjoying stay. The pool area was very beautiful and relaxing. Will come again....

I requested a non-smoking room when I reserved the room through Hotels.com. When I checked in, the hotel clerk said they had us down for a smoking room. When I showed them my print-out reflecting a non-smoking room, he blamed Hotels.com. He said it happened all the time and I should just make reservations directly. I was only staying one night and was […] on a tight schedule, otherwise I would have gone somewhere else. The hotel clerk was indifferent at best and offered no alternative customer -oriented solution...tough luck for me! "Great Hotel for Great Price!!!"
Wow!! What a surprise. My wife & I came to Fayetteville for one night on short notice for a function & tried to find a hotel as close to the University as possible, for a reasonable price of course. We were surprised when we arrived at the hotel to find a really nice indoor pool & sauna. The kids went absolutely crazy & had the time of their lives it […] seemed. Made it easier on us too. The hotel is obviously a little older than some newly built ones in the area, but it doesn't matter. The next morning, we weren't expecting such a great breakfast either. The location was very good; comfortable beds, clean linens and towels except that our bath tub was clogged. After I took my shower, the water was not going down the drain; then of course when my son was ready to take his shower, he was not too happy having to step in muddy water. Was our 2nd time to stay thier in less than a year. One of the few hotels that has an indoor heated pool, hot tub, restraunt, and lounge all in the same hotel. This motel needs updating badly.Looks like the last time it was done was 1969.The mattresses were old and worn out.Scratches on the walls and floors.Could use a good cleaning.

The hotel staff never told us that continental breakfast was included and we found out accidentally from another customer at checkout, but too late to use. The staff did not tell us that our room was out back in the second building and that there was no elevator(just had surgery so was very difficult to access with luggage.) Clean, comfortable room, good breakfast buffet. Nice comfortable bed with a clean room. Only issue was internet access was not good but we weren't there long enough for it to be an issue.

My stay at the Clarion was quite pleasant. It was clean and comfortable and the service was good. The only thing that was a drawback was being greeted by the smoke from the bar just inside the front door and having to walk through it coming in and out of the hotel.

"Clarion~ they have a restaurant"
This to my knowledge is the only hotel in Fayetteville with a restaurant and indoor pool, so that's a big plus. On the other hand, there is no elevator, so if you're on the 2nd floor you have to haul your luggage up the stairs. I had a knee injury and was concerned, but a maintenance man carried it up for me. Also our room had not been cleaned by 6pm […] that night and we were disappointed. They were at capacity with visiting athletes. Læs mere
The bathtub drain did not work at all and the bathtub was molded around the drain opening. My key quit working and the maid could not get it to open either. They had to come and replace the battery in the door lock. I was never able to access the WIFI because it was not not secure. A/C made a popping noise every time it came on. rooms in the main bldg are great. Pool is awesome! Bar gets a little routy at times though. Staff is so nice and helpful.

This is an older hotel. The hotel and room were fine, about what one might expect. It was convenient and the front desk clerk was very friendly. They don't have an elevator and our room was on the 2nd floor. I was travelling with my mother who is 70, and while still very able bodied, stairs are difficult.
