This was the closest I could get to where I wanted to be that had both nights available. The beds were the hardest I have tried to sleep on in years (operative word is "tried"). The way the drives were laid out, it was difficult to get in and out. Hopefully, I won't be in that situation again.

I had my mom reserve my room because I was travelling on the road with child, exhausted. The pictures are totally misleading. Upon arriving they could not find my reservation, and told me I needed to pay cash even though the room was paid for. They took their money immediately but I stood outside a window at 3am with my child, confused. The room was […] on the side of the boiler room complete with banging first thing in the morning. There were iron burns in the carpet, and broken furniture. When I asked to be shown a decent room, it went unanswered. When I asked for clean towels because there was a hair in mine they actually pushed them through a window instead of opening the door that we stood next to. The tv and the "cable" they had were a joke. Half the channels did not work. We walk in and there was a old musty smell while ac blew, which was also very loud. The bed just felt dirty and the pillows were worn down. Oh and the continetal breakfast was also something to laugh at!!

I was so dissatisfied and disapointed with my stay at this hotel. Nothing like the photos. First off, I think this is the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It was dark and dingy. The lights in the room only worked when they wanted to. I called the front desk to let them know that the lights weren't functioning properly and was told that the […] manager would be notified. Well, absolutely nothing was done about the lights not functioning during my entire stay. The service there was mediocre at best. I got a good deal on my hotel stay but next time I don't care if they were offering $10/night, I'm not staying there again! Læs mere

We have stayed here before and the hotel is getting more rundown. Water hoses were left in front of our door and were not removed until noon of the next day causing my husband difficulty in getting into our room. Our bedding was only changed once in eight days and the sheets had burn holes.

I have been here for almost two weeks with few complaints, BUT the cable TV selection is poor at best. They dont even have ESPN, along with about 20 other stations they need to add....

Wanted a hotel so I could relax, sun by the pool and be close to my meetings. THis place is great! Felt like home away from home.

Hotel had a nice location, easy access to the interstate and was surrounded by multiple food establishments. I wouldnt stay in the hotel for more than 3-4 days. It was kinda small, and you could hear everything that was going on outside.

Conveniently located with quiet environment. Good value for money.

I stayed at this Altamonte Springs Days Inn for a total of 14 nights. There was an issue with the first room they gave me, but the staff was very helpful in moving me to another room, where I encountered no problems, other than breakfast (which was included), but closed down at 9:00 AM on weekdays, (too early for me), so I skipped it most mornings. […] The biggest problem for me was that I had no car for these 2 weeks, so was forced to use the Lynx bus system, which was very inconvenient. I found that most everywhere I wanted to go (Downtown Orlando, Winters Park, International Drive, Kissimmee, the Sanford Zoo, etc. required 2 or 3 buses, as well as 2 to 3 hours to get there (!), but by car would have been only 30 minutes away. ( I was actually staying in Altamonte Springs to keep my daughter company in the evenings after her job training, but I didn't realize that using the bus system would be so difficult during the daytime.) So I highly recommend that anyone staying here have a car available. If you have a car, this is indeed a great location for visiting Orlando and Disney, There is also a big variety of restaurants, a shopping mall and beautiful Crane's Roost Park and Lake only a mile away, but across the freeway. The room itself was small, but satisfactory, everything worked, the bed was comfortable and the courtyard and fountain were nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the rates were pretty decent there were nicer hotels for a cheaper price. Two days I complained about blood on the bathroom wall..constantly had to go ask for towels and our AC quit working for a whole day..out of a four night five day stay the last night they finally caught on

There are nothing but prostitutes and drug runners staying at this hotel. Everyone else was like me .. unaware. We left and went to Hampton inn after the prostitute next door was beaten so badly the police and ambulance were called.

Ok hotel for the money. A little loud but mgmt.took care of it right away.

Upon checking in, I had no cable TV and the phone was not hooked up. The front desk immediately sent someone to fix both problems and brought a light bulb for the floor lamp. Problem solved. The room was clean and comfortable with a sofa to sit on instead of just the bed. My only complaint would be is that the room was small compared to comparable hotel […] rooms. My dogs were more than welcome with a grassy area by the parking lot. There were other dogs staying there also. After staying two weeks I was able to move into my new home. Good for the price. Location right were we needed it to be. Rooms are older, a little grungy. Good for a 'guys road trip'. Would not stay here with my wife. Old school dirty flower comforter, carpets, etc. Did have good size fridge and microwave, and breakfast. you get what you pay for.

Overal a good stay. Staff was friendly, good location. Only downfall they still offer smoking rooms, so even the non smoking rooms have that old smoke smell.

Very comfortable room. Great location near everything. Pool was crystal clear. Loved the complimentary hot waffle breakfast. Staff was friendly.

Although they were accommodating, the first room was not accessible to a handicap scooter due to a step-up into the room and railing outside room. The second room (Handicap Room) was a little more accessible but still had the railing which made getting the scooter in for charging. We had to remove the seat. With my husband handicap and us both in our […] 60's, this was not easy. Then the A/C in the room would work and then freeze up. Spent three nights this way. Would never return again. Spanish motif in room and court yard was nice. Pool was not heated so don't plan on swimming unless it's 80+ outside or summer. Room was tight - typical low end, budget room. Bathroom felt like a closet in size. Needed a fresh coat of paint. Overall an adequate place to stay for one nite - close to Sanford/Orl airport. 20+ minutes to Disney. Stayed 5 days. Never had a telephone as it was broken the entire visit. Shower head leaked and it was a lot of work to shower. Housekeeping forgot some of the towels just about everyday including no wash cloths. The room we had needed painted. I would not recomend this property to anyone.

Do not stay at this Days Inn--it is one of the worst hotels I have ever encountered.

I have stayed in other Days Inn and they have been fine. This one was a terrible. The phone was not connected to the phone line. The continental beakfast was awefull, the milk had frozen clumps in it. The toilet ran all night, and by the time I checked in there was no one available to fix the situation. I would not recommend this hotel

I've been staying in the Orlando area hotels for the past 7 months during the week days. I live 150 miles away, and with the economy cannot afford to rent an apartment which would mean a contract, utilities et al. A big plus with the Days Inn and Suites Altamonte Springs, is I have never seen bugs there. This may seem a trivial thing, but lesser hotels […] in the vicinity have such problems, and there's nothing like being woken up by a roach crawling across your face. i didnt expect much for what i payed but was surprised at least it was quite and clean plus at breakfast girl was real helpful yeah it needs landscaping but that cost money we must pay as long as room was clean which it was hey for a short stay i was happy thanks

Hotel staff very attentive and responsive, however the facility Needs extensive attention to cleaning.. A very potent animal Urine smell within the property and many cats hanging around the garbage disposal areas..

Even I notified that the Heater/AC was not working, there was no feedback from the clerk. We had to spend a real cold night.

check in was literally awful but things were better once getting settled in. Screaming little girl at front desk area inside office (hotel is not a daycare altho we have kids and are sympathetic and like kids!) - cleaning service was extremely late in prepping the room but once in it was good. would have liked a courtesy discount as a token for the […] wait. Anyhow, pool is very clean and courtyard quite nice but a heated pool would be a reasonable plus for snowbirds. Breakfast not bad but very limited. Good layout and location for a mid level hotel. Checked in about 10:00 PM. Receptionist opened sliding window to check you in. Room was fair. TV did not work properly....picture snowy. Front desk could not do anything about it. Some type of machinery noise outside the room would go on and off during the night. Would not stay here ever again...would rather sleep in my car.

THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS. LOCATION IS PERFECT AND VERY QUIET AND PEACEFUL. OVERALL, NO COMPLAINTS, EXCEPT THE OUTSIDE NEEDS SOME CLEANING AND GROOMING AND THE CARPET IN THE ROOM NEEDED TO BE CLEANED AND STEAMED. SINCE I HAD BEEN THERE BEFORE, I BOUGHT FOR MY DAUGHTER AND ME SOME FOOTSIES TO WEAR WHILE WE WERE IN THE ROOM TO KEEP […] OUR FEET FROM GETTING DIRTY. Nice!!!

The room was clean including the bathroom. The only complaint is the carpet needed to be cleaned and steamed. It had an odor of mildew and was dirty. However, the front desk was very courteous and helpful. We made reservations again for another 3 days. Their prices are good for a place to sleep and also quietness during bedtime.

The room was nice enough I have stayed in worse. However I wanted a non-smoking room and while the sign outside of the room said it was the room smelled awful. When I brought this to the attention of the management she replied with, 'that is my best room'. So if smoke bothers you stay away.
