Vi er en familie på fem der boede her i tre dage. Godt hotel med egen terasse/balkon med super udsigt over lystbådehavnen, beliggende yderst på Shelter Island. Hotellet ser slidt ud men er rart og der er gode parkeringsforhold selv om dette koster 15 dollars pr. Dag. Vil gerne anbefale dette hotel til andre da det er billigt og godt, men man skal ikke forvente noget luksus.

"Horrible scary place"
The surrounding area is shady and dirty and full of drunk military men.

Very good location for food, entertainment, shopping.
Regarding cleanliness, carpet did not look clean. Regarding hotel amenities, gym is not part of the hotel and was stuffy. Location is near Check & Cash shops.
It was good the only problem we had was finding parking space other then that we had no problems with our room.

My first night there, some visitors were a bunch of young kids partying until 0430 in the morning. The noise was unbearable! Then I found a silverfish bug in my bed, luckily before I got tucked in. Nice room. Good space. Very convenient for events at the San Diego Sports Arena (across the street) and about 15 minutes from the San Diego Zoo.
"Would stay again"
Great hotel, nice pool area, great location, definately go to Phil's BBQ across the street. On site 24 hr restaurant is nice.
"Just OK"
The staff was great. The hotel is so-so. I was hoping for a bit more with a 3-star rating and a national brand. The lobby was nicer than the rooms or the neighborhood.
Horrible, No Wifi connection lots of problem getting connecting keep droping.could do any of my work while I was at hotel.
"All was up to expectations except parking...."
Great all around for the price. Only complaint is the parking spots when the hotel is full are far away - 100s of feet from my door and all the parking spots are very tight - too tight to make sure there are no doors bumping doors of other cars....

Interesting that for a room with 2 queen beds, and two adults checked in, there was only one wash cloth and one pkg. of coffee for the single cup coffee maker. Otherwise all very nice.
"Hot water"
At 8:30 am on a Thursday we had little to no hot water for morning showers. This was not a special weekend such as ComicCon. This was just an average day.
The elevator in building A where our room was,wasn't working. An inconvienece for us who had small children in a stroller while staying on the 3rd floor. Other than that the surrounding area was up to date with restaurants and stores.
"Not recommended to MCRD families"
No airport or MCRD shuttle as stated online. Rude night shift. Ants in bathroom. Maids didn't clean room, just made bed & took out garbage during the 4 day stay.
"Disappointing for a Wyndham be aware its a budget"
Having stayed at many Wyndham hotels this was far from up to scratch. Hotel is in a Great location, however the neighbourhood not so good especially at night time with 2 young children. I had read many reviews on this place and thought some people were being a little fussy but no they were right!!! Ad mentioned Kitchenette - A microwave and mini fridge […] doesn't really suffice. Ad also mention separate room for Kids - its a 4ft high dividing wall, kids size table and 2 stools, more thought was put into a desk and chair which took up too much room. Carpark was a nightmare especially arriving back to hotel after 8pm at night have to park far away from room, not a real safe area to be walking around at night with kids let alone parking 2 hotel blocks away, they need to number the spots or sort it out better than it is, There was a boat and trailer taking up 3 spots out the front of one block, also don't get level 1 as you look out of your window to a concrete wall which make room very dark and depressing, Having said that the foyer to hotel is beautiful and fortunately we were out for long days and just basically slept there but it was a huge let down, We had 2 Adults a 7yr and 5yr old in the room. Location is good,close to beaches,etc, however was unable to sleep due to loud party early in the evening which progressed to foul language fights , crying and so forth. this was on second floor directly across from lobby and was on the outside of rooms, nothing was done about it until I Called office after speaking with the front desk I wish I had […] just call 911. "ok place to stay"
The hotel was clean and comfortable, and was in a good location near by sea world, mission beach, ect, but the walls are very thin, and we could hear the people next door partying at 2am. We were not informed at check-in about a 50$ deposit for potential damages, which I thought to be a little absurd, and I am still waiting for them to refund them money. "Great price, close to SeaWorld!"
It was nice and clean. I liked it just fine we just had 4 adults and 1 child and it was a little cramped. Wish the rooms were a little bigger.

Booked for 2 nights but we left the next morning after staying the 1st night. Hotel smells and in the ghettoest area of San Diego.

I was surprised by this hotel. I wasn't sure what to expect since the rates were really great. The room was very clean, and conveniently located. Staff at front desk were very nice. "Hotel in San Diego"
It was a HUGE disappointment, the room service was awful..it took 1.5 years to get sandwiches for my family and I...when I complained I was offered a PIE...Are you kidding me ??? The hotel was at full capacity and when I asked for towels and pillows it took over 1 hour to receive, again when I complained they said "sorry but we are at 100 percent capacity" […] I am so sorry that you are making tons of money but that is not the customers problem. All I got was excuses...I would expect this from the motel 6 but not from Wyndam...The whole experience sucked and I will never return or recommend to anyone. Læs mere

Walk to Valley View Casino Center. Hotel is a little dirty, but for one night, it is perfect. No hairdryer which was odd.

"Less attractive than its photos"
The Wyndam name made feel that it would be a lovely property. It is not. It is okay for one night, but we felt it was dumpy and needed a lot of upgrades. It is fairly close to the airport and some of the sights and if you are just looking for a reasonably price place to get some sleep, it will suffice, but for a nice vacation stop it is not an attractive […] stop. We had a tiny puppy with us (8#) and we didn't put him down in the room. $25 extra seemed a lot for nothing....... Læs mere

"Wyndham seaworld"
This hotel was not worth the money. The parking spaces were so small my truck didn't fit in one space. The room was smaller than anticipated and some nail heads were visible and dangerous. I won't stay there again.

This hotel was a good place for my family and I to stay at when we visited San Diego this last weekend. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Can't ask for much more...

"Disappointed"
When we checked in and got to our room, there was a blood stain on the floor, the beds were not made and the AC unit was coming out of the wall. We went back to the front desk and got cards for another room. When we went to it, it was occupied, there was a crib in the corner and luggage on the floor. We went back again and got keys for a 3rd room. It […] was ok, it was dirty, there was hand prints on the glass doors and mirrors, not cleaned up well at all. One of the things I asked when I booked was if there was a complementary shuttle to Sea world, there was but we had to pay $10 each way. "Twice in less then a week!"
We liked this hotel so much we booked it again in less than a week!! Need I say more. I'm definitly booking for this hotel again when we go back to the area!!!
"Not worth the money"
The parking situation is terrible. Everything is way to compact. Unless you get 50% off regular rates, find a different hotel. There are 30 more to choose from in the area.

"Lousy"
This hotel was overall lousy for the price. Staff was unfriendly and service was terrible. Parking is horrific, unless you have a mini cooper. Airplanes start up at 7 am and don't stop until 10 pm. Terrible hotel!!
I happened to stay around Spring Break time, it wasn't a business environment. a lot of loud kids and parties. the insolation between rooms are pretty bad as you can hear next door alarm clock and phone ringing and baby crying in the middle of the night. the parking was a challenge. several night i had to spent over 15 minutes looking for parking and […] or park at the other side of the hotel. there is a lot of homeless that are walking the parking area. i expected a lot more from Wyndham Læs mere

"well, it's close to sea world"
I hate to say this but I was really disappointed in this hotel. The area is kind of scary, there are a lot of day laborers hanging around (it's next to a home depot) which does not add to the atmosphere. The carpet in the room was vy dingy, worn and pulling in places. There was no refrigerator or microwave so that was dissapointing. When they serviced […] the room they took away all the towels and only replaced bath towels, not hand or wash cloths. It took two calls to get replaced. The pool towels were practically nonexistent. On the plus side my teenage grandsons did enjoy the pool a lot and they did not mind the inconvenieces. We spent two days at Sea World and it is really easy to get there from the hotel.
