Vi nød at bo 5 dage på Homewood Suites i Minneapolis.. Gode værelser, god mad, hyggelige omgivelser, god beliggenhed og et meget venligt personale.. Kommer helt sikkert igen.

They started cleaning up the breakfast table before we had finished eating. More types of bread and another pancake iron would help during breakfast. Friendly and acomodating staff. Helpful shuttle bus to Mall of America and MSP airport.

Vi var generelt meget tilfredse med vores ophold på hotellet. Det var rene og rummelige værelser. Bilen kunne parkeres tæt på værelset, hvilket var et absolut plus. Steffen fik en god snak med personen i receptionen, der gav en fantastisk service og vidste kulturelt meget. Et stort plus. Venlighed og velvidende i receptionen. Sengene var gode. Vi sov godt. Beliggenheden tæt på lufthavn og Mall of America var et kæmpeplus. Vi kan kun anbefale hotellet til andre. Det var billigt, men vi fik meget for pengene.

"A good value"
Friends in the Cities tell me this used to be something of a dive, but it has come back, and is now something approaching a boutique hotel. A 15 minute walk from the convention center, about 4 blocks from Nicollet Mall in one direction, and 4 blocks to the light rail in another, it's a little off the beaten path but still close enough to be very convenient […] -- and a good deal cheaper than the big brand hotels. The breakfasts are huge and delicious, and the service friendly and quite fast. Reception is friendly, efficient and helpful. Rooms are clean and well-kept. Elevator is very fast -- hardly a wait. "Great value and really nice"
I chose this over some of the over priced conference hotels downtown. Fantastic value and very close to the convention center. The rooms were very big and the pool was lovely.

Funky place that speaks of absolute family care. Nothing new, hip or modern, it has the feel of a 70s suburban bar. The staff were fantastic. Sure, they lost a package and didn't give it to me until check-out when it was too late, but they were on top of their game other than that. I was very satisfied with my stay at the Best Western. The rooms were very clean and roomy. I requested adjoining rooms and an early check-in which they had no problem accommodating. "Easy place to find in downtown Minneapolis"
While we spent just the one night, our only complaint was the air conditioning unit didn't work, so it was awfully warm. That made for an uncomfortable night of sleep.

The noise level at night was terrible. We reported to the front desk, but it was still noisy--even after 2am.

staff was very courteous and helpful. I was in town for baseball tourn. at Metrodome and location was very convenient. Hotel has history and was very homelike. No continental breakfast and restaurant prices were high, but I really liked the place and will probably stay again.

"NICE FOR THE PRICE"
NICE HOTEL, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING DOWNTOWN
The only negative I have about the hotel is that it has the WORST internet connection of any hotel I've stayed with in the last year. This is so important when traveling for me. It will affect my decision to stay here again.

Very nice rooms. Very clean throughout! Gracious and cordial staff. My family will return to Normandy Inn anytime we are in the cities.
"CLEAN AND FRIENDLY"
The hotel appeared to have been recently recarpeted. The rooms were clean and spacious. The wait staff in the lounge were friendly and the food was delicious!
Our stay was just perfect, we were walking distance to all the places we wnated to go to downtown and to the vikings game. The hotel was warm and the people were very freindly. We will be staying here agian next time we are in town
Loved the hotel, very good price for the quality of the hotel :) we will definitely be back!

"Best Western - Dirty Room"
We checked in late and and everyone was very kind at the front desk. Once we got to the room, the bathroom was not cleaned and trash still in the garbage. Bottles still laying around. We called the front desk and we had to request clean sheets, soap, shampoo, towels, ect. They came to to door and handed us the items we request but didn't apologize or […] actually help clean the room. Læs mere

"Nice Hotel"
The Normandy is a nice older hotel well updated. Not like modern hotels where windows don't open, cold (style) interiors. Rooms were nice size with flat screen TV's. The only issue I had was with internet strength, if you get a room down the hallway watch out. But then I have had this problem in the best of hotels.

The price was fitting, location was close to where i wanted to be, and breakfast the next morning was fantastic downstairs!
Very friendly helpful staff, beds were great, fun big city experience for some country girls!
"Good prices and good locations"
I stayed in King suite. It was so comfortable and well cleaned. The location is three block away from Nicolet mall but it's still ok to walk around. The services was pleasant during the stay.

"Great Spot"
Very comfortable hotel. I had a huge king size suite that had a nice view of the downtown area. The fitness center is sufficient with several treadmills, elliptical and bike machines, dumbbells up to 50 lbs and an adjustable bench. Greg at the bar was great and the burger was delicious!
"Totally loved this quirky place..."
The exterior is way kitsch but I found it amusing. The rooms on the other hand were wonderfully updated, clean and modern in neutral browns... it seemed like they were just redone. I had a room overlooking the indoor pool space, which worked out well. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Excellent dowtown location, yet felt comfortably tucked […] away on the edge of the busy business district. Walkable to the outdoor shopping/cafe steet called Nicollet Mall, which had a farmers market on Wednesday... so it was a fun and vibrant stroll on that day. Walking in another direction I found the Mill Ruins area and a nice walking/bike path with a stone bride across river... highly recommend. I ate twice at the hotel restaurant which has been family run since the 1940s... I sat at in the bar and Keele the waitress/bar tender was super happy and uplifting. "Normandy Inn - Downtown"
We enjoyed our stay. The pool was great. They are renovating some spots inside to give the hotel a more modern look. Complimentary cookies and milk at 10 pm. Comfy bed. Not hip or modern, but affordable, nice and perfect for what we were looking for.

Check in was pretty easy and not bad. Hotel conditions however are way overpriced!!!!!! They are under contruction and it looks a lot like a flea-bag hotel! It is not in the best part of town either so be careful walking back to the hotel, make one wrong turn and you are going to possibly end up in a bad situation. The hotel had a funky smell and none […] of the the hallways have AC... summertime in MN, not a great idea to be without AC. I will say that the front desk was extremely nice but they are just working in a beat up hotel, poor souls! Læs mere
