We were here in January and found by shear luck this hotel - to us the comfort and room quality far better than the stars says for this hotel. The included breakfast is rather Motel-style with no fancy cooks wearing stupid looking tall hats but at least you do not need to leave the hotel hungry. The hotel is very convenient situated for people or missionaries on their way to the Harley Museum and we will definitely recommend this hotel within those people. To us value for money and thats is in general what count mosts for us poor bastards. The only disappointment was actually the management lack of response to a mailed send in order to extend the stay with at least one more day before we arrived - a bit strange given the fact that owners of hotels tend to complain about the decrease in overnighting people after the 2008 depression.

We stayed just one night before flying out of MKE for vacation but were very impressed with the high level of service we received. The parking, with shuttle pick up- to and from airport was awesome. IT was VERY upsetting that I thought that I had a park and fly and when I got there, they told me I had to PAY for parking. RIP off for cerrain.

I missed a flight and stayed the night here. It was close to the airport, the service was great, and the rooms simple but clean and cozy.

The front desk staff wasn't as friendly as I would have liked (rather all business) and the room I got had a double bed instead of the queen I paid for. Overall, a very nice hotel.

"A liitle late for pickup"
The hotel being right across from the airport makes it really handy. Free shuttle and parking (for a price) makes it a good deal. Took about 20 minutes after the call upon arrival to get picked up.

This hotel was very pleasant and the personnel were very helpful. I would bring my own shampoo and conditioner next time though.

"The Hotel Clarion is 5 min from the Airport"
The issure was poor quality Wifi and no Flat top TV. They did say that they have replaced most of their old TV with LCD but there were 27 to go and our room was one of them.
the 1st room that i received was not to my likeing.so i went to the mgr and he took very good care of me and gave me a 5 star room on the 3rd floor.

Well we liked this hotel becaue they had a free shuttle to the airport and we got to leave our car there till we returned from our vacation and the people very nice when you call them to pick you up.

"a bit noisy this time."
We have used this hotel a number of times when we park and fly, but this time was not the best. The room next door had noise in it until early in the morning until I had to contact the front desk.
"DAMP CITY"
Check in was fine nicely greeted - room was damp and clamy - did not take off shoes as rug was damp - bed was fine and room served its purpose for the night but set of allergies becasue of dampness A nice surprise was the restaurant for dinner - good food and service.

Room was very clean but a bit musty in smell. Would stay again. Hope they can get rid of the smell. Quick shuttle to airport. Staff very polite and helpful. Overall good stay.

"best hotel gym"
They should really put pictures of the hotel gym on the hotel pictures. It was amazing. Better than my local gym. Free weights and machines, all new and clean. great room and restaurant was ok.
"Good Hotel....for the 1970s"
Everything but the bed is old. Smells old, looks old. Oh, except for the $2.00 8oz bottle of water my husband bought from a vending machine. No convenience store in the hotel means you are stuck with their prices because you don't want to drink tap Milwaukee water. Bed was fairly comfy but you needed a magnifying glass to see the TV from where you were. […] Only 1 coffee filter for a 2-cup pot. If you need to stay near the airport, hotels.com has many many more better hotels at a near-same price. I would recommend staying at one of them instead. Læs mere
"Nice time"
Everything about the hotel was nice. It was going through renovations, but that didn't effect our stay. The brunch they offered was good, but the service was ok. The desk clerk was very friendly. We came from out of town to see a comedy show. That evening the hotel had 3 weddings. I couldn't hear them at all.

"Average Stay"
I love how convenient this hotel is to teh airport. The room was reasonably clean. The furnishings were somewhat dated, but otherwise fine. This is a decent basic hotel room.

Even though located next to the airport, did not hear planes during the night with AC running. Nice gym in the basement. Reasonable cab ride to Summerfest. Very nice front desk staff.

The first floor was dirty and felt "wet". The second floor (where I stayed) was much nicer...especially the further you got away from the lobby.
