Meget nedslidt hotel, tæpperne på gangen skulle have været skiftet for 5 år siden, døren til værelset hang i laser, vi kunne kikke ud på gangen når den var lukket. Der stod en stiv kuling ind fra altandøren. Det eneste poitive er beliggenheden som er fin.

This hotel is definitely NOT AT ALL WORTH THE PRICE. The customer service was terrible. Our hotel room didn't even get cleaned throughout our stay.

My stay at the hotel was decent, but I was expecting more... The vending machines was an eyesore, as well as the ONLY ice machine is located on the 5th floor. The lighting within the hall on the 4th floor was bad... the location was good, it was just hard to locate...however, it is under construction, so I hope that my next stay will be better.

The worst internet of any hotel I have stayed at. Room itself was okay, having the balcony was nice. Location is great for downtown. Bathroom had little black spots all over the ceiling was worried to ask what they were. Most hotel now give a mini-fridge and/or microwave, don't expect those basic amenities here.

If you need a clean place to stay at a great rate it will work. I would stay there again.

Very run down and outdated. Smelly. Dirty. Terrible customer service. No amenities. Pretty good location.

Great hotel and location to sights. Cannot be beat. Interior a bit worn but for the price can't be beat. The employees were super and helpful in getting us to use the MARTA system going to Turner Field. If your a Diva do not stay here. If your someone who wants to save money and see the sights this hotel is for you. Easy a see to I-75 not to close to […] see or hear it but 2 blocks and your back on the Interstate. Læs mere

The hotel was adequate. Sign out front said open through renovation but that was the only sign of anything happening. Hotel was run down, peeling paint, worn carpet, old furniture and tv. Room was clean. Was supposed to have a queen size bed but it was just a regular. sliding door did not lock and in general the area around the hotel was very noisy. […] Would not have selected hotel but it was only space available, so in that sense it was okay, I had a place to stay but would not go back. We were in ATL last weekend (not for the basketball!) and this was the only well-located hotel that was under 600$ for two nights. We paid almost 400$ for two nights here. It clearly was not worth it. This is a rundown place. Our room was cleaner than some of the reviews I read here, but I would avoid this hotel without a doubt. We only had one roach […] in our room, so I guess that's better than some others. The carpets were worn, with holes, and the furniture was beat up. The TV was old and had a terrible picture, the shower curtain had holes and some mold on it, the chair was gross looking, the two lamps didn't work. The front desk didn't even care about the roach (I guess it is pretty common). We didn't really have an option to change considering the craziness that was ATL last weekend. I would not recommend this Hotel unless there's nothing left. Maybe after renovation it will be better, overall rating is ok. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms, just a place to sleep overnight.

Wow. Great view from the room through the grime on the window. Think bad travel lodge in terms of general hotel spaces and it certainly needs the promised refit. Don't be fooled by the attractive photos of the pool - not currently available - but the room was large and reasonably furnished, just worn in places and my balcony door wouldn't close (i mentioned […] this and maintenance managed to bolt it shout which kept out the cold draft). But it is cheap and close to the underground so it depends what your priorities are. It is the ok side of downtown (not like the greyhound station area which is troubling) but i am not used to the deserted streets which surround the corporate towers which are the sealed wealthy microcosms of corporate America. This is literally my first time posting a review online, but I felt truly compelled to warn fellow travelers about this place. This place was a nightmare. First my room key didn't work, and they never did get it to work, so if I wanted to come and go (even to the vending machines downstairs), I had to let them know so they could let me back in room. […] Second, the front desk people are lazy and have attitudes the size of Texas. I haven't seen unhappy women like this since the DMV, and they are all about throwing that attitude your way if you even raise an eyebrow about the fact that you have to constantly be let into your own room on the 6th floor EACH time you leave. Third, I don't even know if the view from the balcony was nice because I couldn't open my door to see it. The bathtub mat was tattered and ragged, zero water pressure, and lastly, all I could smell when I sat on my bed was another woman's perfume. The location was absolutely perfect for the attractions and dining in the area. It was all within walking distance. We had a leak in our bathroom and the staff responded immediately and moved us into another room. The hotel is undergoing remodeling but it was not any inconvenience to us. It would have been worth the extra $30 to stay at a much better hotel. However, the staff was extremely pleasant and the hotel appears to be under some reconditioning. I am not a fan of the old style bedspreads, as they never seem to be as clean as the newer style duvet covers.

Overall the stay was mediocre. The bathroom and room were clean but run down. There were stains on the floor so I wore shoes. The sheets were clean and the towels were old but alright. This hotel was alright for someone who wasn't going to spend a lot of time in their hotel room. It is located close to Marta so good for public transportation.

This hotel was HORRIBLE! The hallways and rooms smelled of strong smoke and even after three room changes, I was still uncomfortable. Do not book here until the renovation is completed.

Online I was told there was a fitness center. there was no fitness center I was charge 45 dollars for parking room was totally outdated wifi was not working. Good location but hotel need remodeling

Not a bad place for the money. Clean but nothing fancy. Great location, walking distance to tourist destinations & train stations. The toilet had a small issue like it was stopped up for a while. Main concern was that the room they had for baggage storage had no type of ID system & really no supervision. When employees opened the storage closet, they […] turned and left while I put in & took out. And didn't ask for a reservation name or room number. Anybody could have taken any piece of luggage. I wanted a hotel close to the megabus stop so I did not have to walk around too much to get there. This hotel is about 10 minutes away from the megabus stop and in a generally good area (as good as it can be, at least) of Atlanta. From the little time I spent in Atlanta, I think that if you keep to the Peachtree streets (there are several) or close […] to them (like Spring Street where this hotel is located) during the day you should be fine. The hotel is being remodeled but I stayed in one of the old rooms. Room and bathroom were spacious; however, the old age was quite visible in the worn out carpet and bedding. Cleaning could be better, but it wasn't dirty. It did not have the microwave as listed in the reservation, but it had the tv and coffee machine. TV signal was not very good (rainy image) but I found it was still "watchable". I can say that I did not think that breakfast was one of the best features, but since it is complementary I wasn't expecting better anyway. It is not bad but it isn't good either, you can pick from overcooked scrambled eggs, hard biscuits, gravy (did not try it), last weeks' bagels and toast bread, yogurt, fruit (apples and bananas), and cereal. To drink there was orange juice, milk, tea, and coffee. I would not recommend drinking the coffee if you're selective about that. It is really, really, bad. Overall, I got what I wanted - a decent hotel, in a good area close to megabus stop, for a reasonable price. Læs mere

It's in a great location and all the rooms have balconies. It's an old, run down hotel. It probably is clean, but it doesn't feel clean. The rooms are old and the linens and bed spread are very dated. Parking onsite and close to hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I have to say that when we go on family vacation our lodging is usually the least of our worries. We pull up at the nearest motel and thats all. But Hotel ATL was the cheapest and more centrally located of the available hotels and we loved it! You really do get what you pay for, it isn't all that great but when everything major attraction is within […] reasonable walking distance, I am a happy camper!!! World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Park, Hard Rock.... All within a 5 minute walk! So if what you are looking for ia simply a place to rest your head and care more about being out and about all day, Hotel ATL is the place to stay!!!!! Læs mere

Front desk staff was kind enough to put personal call on hold to check me in. Hallways smelled like smoke, our first indication..we couldn't get the door open with the key card ( my daughter and I were too tired to do anything but laugh, after a bit a guy next door gave us a hand). Accommodation were good/fare: TV not that good, sink outside of bathroom not good, advertize free breakfast which they didn’t have because of renovations. It’s ok for short stay but not more than 2/3 days.

I seldom write reviews as I am not real picky about my hotels, but this one was horrendous. During our two night stay I called security three times because of extremely noisy neighbors. The 1st night it was a woman cursing and screaming for 2 hours. There was groups of young men smoking pot in the parking lot and the rooms were small and carpeting was […] dirty. Hotel is very "dated" but is undergoing renovations. There was a very loud disturbance through the night that took some time before someone halted it. After renovations, I would most likely stay there again due to the location, but not before.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I would ask for my money back but dont have the desire or energy to go through writing letters and what ever else it would take but my advise...don't stay there till they finish renovating and hire friendly staff who can find their way to your room with a iron in less that 30 minutes!!!
