Godt og rart hotel. Ingen særlig luksus og lidt afsides beliggenhed. Til gengæld pænt og rent, god service, samt gratis wi-fi på hotellet. Tog fra lufthavnen går lige til døren - bogstaveligt talt. Meget fine sporvognsforbindelser til centrum, men absolut også overkommelig gåafstand.

Hotellet er af ældre dato, men er i fin stand med hyggelige mere moderne værelser. Værelserne er ikke de største, men der er hvad man har brug for. Personalet er rigtig søde og vil gerne hjælpe med både det ene og det andet. Hotellet ligger super centralt med sporvognen kørende lige ude på vejen (Dette kan høres når de bimler og bamler med klokken, men ikke noget der der irriterer, mere som en hyggelig lyd à la "nu kommer sporvognen igen".) Hotellet ligger super centralt, lige ved Union Square. I området ligger der mange små caféer, dinere, butikker osv og 300 meter nede af gaden ligger der en metro station (en Bart) hvor man kan tage toget til yderområderne. På samme sted er der et hav af busser som kører alle steder hen i byen. To af SF´s tre sporvogne har også endestation lige nede af gaden. Alt i alt et rigtig dejligt hotel. Vi var i SF et par dage inden vi rejste videre syd på. Hotellet var helt ideelt. Både pga at det var hyggeligt, med i høj grad også pga beliggenheden. Det var nemt at komme ud at spise, nemt at komme i butikker og shoppe og nemt at komme til både tog, busser og sporvogn. Helt klart et hotel vi vil anbefale og et vi gerne ville bo på igen hvis vi skulle tilbage til SF.

SFO er praktisk beliggende 19 kilometer syd for San Francisco. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) forbinder San Francisco International Airport med "The City", eller Byen, som de lokale ofte kalder San Francisco. Lufthavnen ligger praktisk for virksomheder mod nord og beboelses- og forretningskvartererne mod syd. Nogle af de førende bioteknologiske firmaer og Silicon Valley-virksomheder ligger få minutter fra lufthavnen.

Fint hotel tæt på lufthavnen, men ellers er der intet i nærheden, en lidt kedelig restaurant. Mulighed for at fin gåtur langs vandet. Man skal køre til indkøb og andre spise steder. Pool så fin ud, vi benyttede den ikke.

Fint hotel, gratis transport til og fra lufthavn, free wifi, men lidt dårligt kvalitet. 24 timers åben restaurant, men man skal selv hente, de bringer ikke op til rummet. Alt i alt fint for en enkelt nat.

Vi var her i 2 overnatninger, personalet mødte os med stor begejstring, de var super flinke...Vi havde den flotteste udsigt ud over vandet, og hotellet er fantastisk til prisen...mere værd end man betaler...
"Okay for a low-end motel"
The rooms have been remodeled, so the look of the rooms was okay. But this was by far the noisiest place I've ever stayed.
"Convenient and Clean"
This hotel is right at Union Square and conveniently located to downtown. Trolley runs right by the hotel for travel to the wharf. The service staff was great in accomodating us for directions and transportation. This is a great deal for a San Francisco stay.
Very clean and the attached restaurant was very convenient. Most rooms have an ocean view and there was plenty of parking. We stayed over night before traveling onto another destination and it is right on Hwy 101 and about 10 minutes from the airport.

I of 2 elevators didn't work. Next morning the good one didn't work. We were on 5th floor. No coffee in room - had to go downstairs.

Nice people, great transportation to and from the airport, remodeling entire bottom floor, my room was all refurbished and nice. Well lite and felt safe as a woman traveling alone.
"Not expecting much, still disappointed"
Hotel was kind of dirty and not that comforting. Next time we'll probably check out the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was undergoing renovation. Our room, while newly remodeled and pleasant was not fully cleaned. It was also somewhat poorly furnished. In the end, it was safe and clean enough, and not terrible for an airport hotel.

renovated rooms are very nice, comfortable and rate high. Staff is very helpful, friendly and speedy check in and check out. Restaurant on premises open 24/7 has all the great meals one wants

I stay in a number of hotels each year and gives good value, this hotel is being renovated in stages but was not inconvenienced. The new rooms are pleasant, clean and the beds are comfortable, it was quiet for being so close to the freeway. The adjoining restaurant/cafe is open 24hrs and the prices are great. "Ehhhhh. Not the best"
We booked a bay view window and were told that due to construction we couldn't have a bay view window and we had to be on the 4th floor. The room was not child friendly at all. At night it was really noisy so slept very little.

"OUTSTANDING option...for what it is"
We stayed on 3 April 2012. We live midway between SF and Sacramento, were flying out of SF on the AM of the 4th and wanted to avoid the horrendous rush hour traffic. We prioritized price and convenience to the airport, fully understanding that we were going to have a bare-essentials type of place. This was PERFECT for this purpose, and we will use them […] again for same! Also we appreciate their 100% no-smoking policy. I think they just recently renovated (actually are still finishing up). Our room was clearly new - all furnishings, nice wood floor, new paint job. Stylishly appointed and totally clean. Beds were fine. Square footage was bare-minimum, just enough room for your feet to take you to/from bathroom/sink/bed/door, but for our purpose that was fine. 24hr restaurant on site was fine, convenient. Saw lots of people using their free airport shuttle and they do offer some sort of longterm parking at the hotel (though we parked at airport). (and it's more of a motel than a hotel). All in all - if you are looking for a place convenient to the airport for a very short stay, this place is perfect, especially for the price. there was an outdoor pool, medium-sized I'd say. We didn't use it (not yet warm enough), but it would be fine for a short stay, looked clean/safe. Læs mere

When we walked into the first room they gave us, the ceiling had crumbled all over the bed. They were quick to give us another room but it was 1:00 a.m and we were exhausted so having to lug our luggage to the top floor where renovations were complete and have to share a bed (my daughter and I) instead of two beds wasn't great. "Nice Hotel- Stinky Rooms"
The hotel surroundings were nice and the establishment was clean, however our non smoking room smelt like 20+ years of ciggarette smoking. Also, they were under construction, which is great for future visitors, but we woke up to hammering and pounding at 7am after a 15 hour flight. Great place, just little things that added up....

I was traveling with my grand-daugter and an infant. The hotel manager was very accommodating for our stay. I appreciate the hotel shuttle was available to the airport.

"Golf and airport"
The construction was noisy during our stay. The entire third floor was being redone and we were on the fourth floor. There are not any shops or convenient stores within walking distance. Without a car, the terrible Asian diner attached and the golf center across the street are your only options to get out of the room. only one pizza place and one Chinese […] place delivered. "Close to the Airport"
We found the hotel to be very convenient to the airport in San Fran. The staff were very friendly.. and they had a restaurant open 24hrs on site. The room was very very clean ! Free wi-fi also. Would stay there again !

I booked because of an early morning flight out of SFO. The hotel is convenient to where I usually park my car, and the price on Hotels.com was reasonable and worked towards my free night. The hotel was "okay" although there is construction going on, and an entire floor was closed off. This is a motel type place, with external doors. The back up to […] check in was a little delaying. One lady, apparently w/o a reservation, came back after getting her keys requesting a non-smoking room -- and there weren't any. The front staff was very pleasant despite the back up. I noticed a number of flight crew staying here. We didn't eat at the resturant, instead went down to nearby places. Older building -- well maintained. Clean and comfortable. Good value for the money. Was undergoing a remodel during stay -- did not interfere with stay.
"Red Roof Inn - simple and clean"
More like a motel, but in a nice area with a great path along the water for a morning walk/run. Room was quite adequate and clean. Free wifi worked but was slow.

Basically no complaints...not high end, but an adequate room; close to airport, about 20 minutes to downtown if no traffic. My only gripe is that they would accept or cash an Amex travellers check.
