Rigtig god beliggenhed i forhold til LAX og super med shuttle service. Lidt uheldig med swimmingpoolområde var under reperation, vi blev henvist af en lidt smart receptionist til nabohotel, hvor der var mange problemer med at komme ind. Gode værelser.

Virkelig god service fra alt personalet, meget opmærksomme. Dejlig morgen buffet med mange forskellige ting. Svimmingpool området er ok, kunne være mere hyggeligt hvis det var mere tæt buskads ud til hovedvejen evt. sammen med støjdæmpende anordning. Det samme gør sig gældende ved basket banen. Fitnes rummet er meget småt, der er 2 løbebånd og 1 crosstrainer, samt en multimaskine til forskellige øvelser, ikke særlig god. Vaskerummet er ok. Der er rent og pænt alle steder. Madrassen i sengen og sovesofaen kunne være bedre. Et sted vi godt kunne finde på at vælge igen.

Hotellet er lille, men rigtig hyggeligt. Værelserne er rimelig små, men pladsen er udnyttet godt og har alt hvad man skal bruge. Værelserne er pæne, rene og hyggelige. Personalet er super søde og MEGET hjælpsomme. Morgenmadsbuffeten er lille med et lille udvalg, men stadig fin og nok til at starte dagen på. Hotellet ligger et par hundrede meter fra Beverly Centret, som har et hav af butikker (inkl Macy´s og Bloomingdales) og en håndfuld spisesteder. Skråt over for hotellet ligger der også et supermarked/stor kiosk som har åbent 24 timer i døgnet. Beliggenhed er lidt svært at tale om når man er i LA, da byen er kæmpe stor og har mange områder, men Beverly området er et af de pænere områder og Hollywood Boulevard og Sunset Boulevard ligger ca 10 min i bil op af sidegaden. Hotellet kan helt klart anbefales og er et hotel vi godt kunne vende tilbage til hvis vi igen skulle komme forbi LA.

Vi blev opgraderet gratis til en suite, som var rigtig fin, ren og rummelig. Vi valgte stedet pga afstanden til Dinseyland, ellers ville vi ha boet tættere på centrum. Det eneste minus ved stedet var, at det gratis internet desværre ikke virkede i de 5 dage vi var der:( Resten var tip top.

Det voksende område, der blot er kendt som "The Valley", omfatter forstæderne til Encino, Northridge og Van Nuys. Men Burbank er hovedattraktionen, da flere film- og tv-studier ligger her. Universal Studios' forlystelsespark kombinerer turisme med det lokale håndværk. Griffith Park er et tiltrængt grønt område i en by, der ellers er kendt for sin smog. I nærheden ligger Burbank-lufthavnen, som er et alternativ til LAX.

Not a bad hotel, decent gym and small but decent pool. The location is fine, not necessarily within walking distance of where we wanted to go but safe and close to most of the attractions. The accommodations were fine. I guess I would say the room was fairly "worn." I think the hotel could due for an upgrade, at least on the bathrooms. Overall, nice […] people, good service, great buffet breakfast and good amenities like pool and gym. I could easily stay there again but might choose a different hotel purely based on location. I was charged for loft bed and car parking while when I made the reservation I was told that this is all inclouded . The Hotel excuse was the booking was done through third party . this was disapointing

We stayed there after a very long day at Universal and City Walk. Check in was very quick and easy. The rooms we very nice and super clean! I would definitely stay again.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Universal City 3 yrs ago with a group of jr. high drama kids and was impressed then; the hotel is even nicer now. From front desk staff, to the beautiful grounds, to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the location - this is a hotel worth the price. I will stay here again and again.

We booked the room thinking it would be like any other hotel near a tourist attraction. We were so wrong. This hotel was really top notch. The location was extremely easy to locate and very convienent to everything we needed. The hotel was very clean, the room was immaculate and quiet. The grounds were lush and even though it was a bit chilly outdoors, […] the courtyard area was very peaceful and comfortable. The staff was courteous and it felt as though we were welcome. Our room had a balcony but we much preferred the courtyard. The pool and spa were open but unused by us although I really wanted to make use of the spa. A day at Universal will do that to you. "Convenient for Universal studios trip"
We stayed here when my daughter had a cheerleading competition at Universal studios. The hotel was very close to the park, and the free shuttle meant not having to deal with or pay for parking (bonus!) The room was clean and comfortable. The property was very nice- clean and well manicured landscaping. The only complaint I have is the sign out front. "what a mistake"
cell like corridors, old fashioned rooms, not deserving of price or rating on Hotels.com. The coffee bar is 2 chairs facing the washrooms and on the day we arrived nobody knew how to work the coffee machine.

Well worth it! Free shuttle, Beautiful hotel & the staff take a lot of pride in working there. Tula's, the restaurant is delicious, and 4/5 times the service was excellent. Pool made it easy on weary kids.

I've stayed here many times, as the hotel is within walking distance to my son's home. sometimes I come with my husband , sometimes I travel alone. I came alone on this latest trip, and for the first time, I felt uncomfortable walking back to my room late at night. My room was on the 6th floor of the second building, all the way at the end of the hallway. […] I asked the front desk if there was someone who could walk me back to my room, and she got a security guard who did just that. The bed was awful. I fell asleep and then woke up in the middle of the night with back pain. Spent the rest of the night on the chair. When we first entered our 1st floor room we discovered that the balcony door was unlocked and partly open. Major security problem. Also we couldn't drive our car to the other side of the hotel for breakfast because the […] key card deactivated as soon as I used it the next morning even though it was not yet time for check out. This is probably one of the "nicest" Holiday Inn I have stayed in. Feels almost like a nice "4 star" resort hotel with the nice modern interior in the room and bathroom. Overall ambient of the Hotel grounds is beyond a Holiday Inn I have been too!!!! Would absolutely come back again for such great rate.

The Beverly Garland is a nice place to stay. The room and bed were comfortable. However, if you are not used to big city noise, ask for a room that DOES NOT face the very noisy freeway. It doesn't slow down at night.

In the middle of the city, Beverly Garland was an oasis. Our room was big and comfortable, and our balcony overlooked a courtyard and pool with spas, tables and umbrellas, a big outdoor fireplace and plenty of seating. I've read reviews that complained about the fact that it is not a new hotel, but frankly that is part of its charm. It is not one high-rise but a series of buildings that give it more of a tucked-away-resort feeling. We liked it a lot. Because I was tired, we cancelled our planned Universal trip, and we were pleasantly allowed to hang out by the pool, leave our car parked gratis, and given internet access after we officially checked out. We stayed until we had to leave for the airport. A more accommodating and pleasant staff would be hard to find. As we will be back in the area before long, you can bet we will be at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn. Oh Yes, we had a wonderful breakfast (we chose buffet) at Tula's, and we recommend that too! My brother and I flew in for the Rose Bowl and this hotel was in a great location to get around the city. The only complaint I had was the breakfast wasn't free when I clearly selected a room with breakfast included.

Generally good value for money, good location and facilities. Our six year old daughter liked the pool. Shuttle bus was good. Good choice of restaurants in the area, in particular the world famous Big Boy Burger restaurant not too far away. Hotel is on various local bus routes that run frequently in the day. We had a great stay here. We were going to the Rose Bowl game and wanted to go to Universal Studios. The hotel has free shuttle to Universal and you can buy your tickets (2 day) pass there - which we did not realize when we booked, but was a welcome surprise! We also took a Hollywood tour and they had a shuttle for that too. The breakfast was very good […] and worth getting for your family. I think it costs extra to get every day. We were there for 4 nights and everyone was very helpful. It is an older hotel but clean and a nice surprise! "Beverly Garland - Series of Unfortunate Events"
We did not get the hotel room we reserved/expected and the staf was not at all helpful, well Mike wasnt...our requests for basic necessities were met with contempt or all out ignored and then the stay was topped of with a "lost" bag.... On the other hand, the staff at Tulas and the adjoining bar were wonderful the food was great and the drinks were […] top notch. "Paying for convenience"
The room is not that great or big. The big perks are the closeness to Universal Studios/City Walk (free shuttle too). The buffet breakfast wasn't anything spectacular either. But the service was very nice and helpful.

Fantastic Hotel with great atmosphere for a family holiday. Very comfortable and convenient to Universal Studios, shops and transport. I would highly recommend it for families visiting LA as the location was convenient with a free shuttle to Universal Studios and the neighbourhood felt safe to walk around.
