We stayed here as a halfway point to Disneyland. It was conveniently located right off the freeway and close to the mall. I would not recommend staying here if you have a family with small children. People were hanging out on the balcony drinking and swimming fully clothed in the swimming pool. It worked for the one night but we will not stay there […] again. Læs mere

Very satisfied. Professional staff.

Girl at front desk was very helpful in finding a store we needed to go to. Motel it's self was a little sad and worn. Could definitely use a remodel. But we only need a bed for one night and the price was right.

This is a HORRIBLE hotel where all the kids go to get away from mom and dad. This place has thin walls and is VERY LOUD so don't plan on sleeping. The front desk people are young and don't care about the noise.I wish I could actually give a negative star rating. What a horrible horrible place!!! Good luck connecting to the "free"internet. We only stayed here one night and it was fine for that. The room was clean however we were there on a friday night and it seemed like they got a lot of guest late at night coming in making a lot of noise. I would stay here again for the price we paid.

Good location for connecting highways to Vegas and points north/east. Great access to freeways. Close to service stations, restaurants. The unit we were in, still needs some upgrades. All in all it was good value for the low price we paid.

Needed a place to stay overnight for work. Clean room (next to freeway, so the traffic noise was there, but not too bad). Low 40s mid-week price included pool, Jacuzzi & continental breakfast, which was unexpected. Close to restaurants and across the street from a bowling alley. This was the closest hotel to Buena Vista Park where we hung out for the weekend. Not to mention, it's location is perfect because it's w/in the city where restaurants, markets and gas is near by. We only spent one night. Everything went well. Did not have the truck noise I read about. Staff was very nice.

Objective: Cheap accommodation for 1 night Pros: inexpensive accommodation, complementary breakfast, good bed, close to highway for quick start Cons: truck noise from highway, late-arrival neighbors Basic facilities are fine. The hotel surroundings and room were kept clean. Breakfast was nice with hot, freshly made coffee, milk, orange juice, apple juice, waffles ready to make, selection of white or wheat bread. We were well pleased since they made it nice for their guest.

Last minute booking: Room carpet was filthy, nearly black in traffic area and this was supposed to be clean. Upon taking a shower, the tub fixture literally "Blew Off" the copper inlet shooting across the tub. My wife held the piece on while I showered and visa versa. For your money, you are better off at a holiday inn or travelodge. We were all disappointed in our stay and checked out early because it was uncomfortable being there.

travelling up to Northern Calif. needed a place to rest for one night. Breakfast was less than expected. We were anxious to get back on the road and were hoping to grab a quick bite and run. There was nearly no food when we arrived. We sat and drank coffee while watching the news. It took about 30 minutes until someone checked to see what was needed. […] Choices were slim to none. This place is awful. The main light as you enter the room was out, the bathroom light was out and one of the living room lamps was dead. The remote for the TV was broken. The tub is too small to take a bath in and during my three weeks here, the water heater broke 3 times. When they finally fixed it they set the temp so low that there almost was always […] no hot water and they refused to make it hotter. The carpet is dirty and they don't supply shampoo or any of the little things most hotels give. There is only 1 washer and dryer and you have to run your clothes through the dryer 2 times before they become dry. Hotel staff thoughtfully checked mileage to our next destination.

Stayed in BF traveling from Utah to Fresno for Thanksgiving dinner. Nice basic accommodations to catch a few zzz's before continuing on to visit family. Continential breakfast was good (3 kinds of cereal, danishes, muffins, juice, fresh fruit, etc) but family before us cleaned out everything portable stuffed in their pockets. Accepted pets which was […] reason for picking motel. Only charged f.ve dollars for small dog. Front desk was VERY helpful trying to set up wi-fi in room and close captioning on the TV. Would recommend if you need room and bed with no frills. Other guests complained of freeway noise but didn't bother us. I had no need for a fancy hotel with lots of amenities and luxory. I just needed a bed, wanted breakfast and wifi access. The bed was fine, but I'm not sure how clean everything really was. Shower was dirty, especially the tile. The sink faucet controls were all messed up. The fridge in my first room was frozen and didn't cool anything. Rooms were […] stuffy and required you to use the noisy A/C unit. My second room the curtain covered the unit so all the cool air just went up into the space between the curtain and window. If I open the curtain then everyone can just look into the room... The breakfast was pretty marginal. This was our first stop on a drive from San Diego to Seattle--my family and I stopped here around midnight to check in to avoid LA traffic the next day. We checked in at midnight, and the person at the desk was very friendly and accomodating. We were checked-in in about 5 minutes. The hotel had a very decent continental breakfast, and it was all fresh. Even though we only stayed for a night, the experience from beginning to end was very smooth. And for the price we got, it was totally worth it.

Geat value for the price. The free breakfast was a plus. Less carbs for breakfast, but the waffle making machine was cool. Clean & comfortable.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the bath tub was stained as was the carpet. The floor of the room above creaked every time someone moved. The towels were thin and stained, and the blankets looked like they had not been washed.

I was a bit concerned about the reviews complaining of traffic noise but neither of us noticed anything at all. The desk staff was great, we called for late arrival and to hold a first floor room because of my bad knee. When we arrived at midnight, our room was on the first floor. After driving 11 hours all I wanted was sleep!! It wasn't going to happen at this Hotel!! We got there at about 3:00 am. We got NO SLEEP because of all of the Traffic going by outside! Especially the semi trucks! NOISY!! You would think that they would have more insulation in the rooms to block out the noise!! The breakfast that they offered was pretty […] good, waffles. Could have done without the rude behavior of the staff! I guess they have a limit of how many waffles each guest can eat and that limit is 1!! And believe me, They watch you like a hawk!! The Super 8 is a convenient freeeway hotel with more traveler amenities (king size bed, microwave, refrigerator, pool, breakfast) than you would expect for the price. The towels are thin but it is a bargain for the budget conscious traveler passing through Bakersfield on highway 99.
