Holiday Inn French Quarter - Perrysburg

I enjoyed are stay. Front desk was wonderful due to us having to check in early for a wedding we had at 3:30, 20 minutes away from hotel. Got back around 9:00pm and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Was happy to see how staff kept the party's under control. We had to call security on the room next door around 1:30 am and they resolved it quickly. The next […] morning we went for breakfast which was the only not so good experience. We walk by a beautiful brunch set up on the way to the restaurant but thought it was for a private party so we ordered the buffet in the restaurant which was very cold only to hear the other waitress suggesting to her tables the wonderful brunch. We stayed at the hotel because we attended a Bluegrass Festival that was being held there and we checked in about 7pm, the staff that evening was friendly and granted us a late check out for the next day since the concert was also the next day. The restaurant at the hotel had a great buffet on Friday night and also a band that played cheesy disco music, […] but it was fun to people watch and especially after a few drinks. The room was warm, inviting, the decor was nice and the room was very clean. The hotel staff changed our reservation when I realized that I had accidentally booked a smoking room. The room was quiet, and although we didn't go to any of the pools, I liked the fact that the hotel offered an adult only pool. Very nice and would stay there again. It was a one stop hotel, I liked that we didn't have to go out in the cold to find a nice restaurant. Læs mere

If you plan on staying at the Hotel because you drank too much then staying here is OK, but anything else i would stay else where. the rooms are outdated and stuffy. we stayed on the indoor poolside and the entire room was muggy from the humidity. the air condition/heater unit looked like it was built in the 50's no thermostat to regulate the room  […] temp. This was a great hotel. Very close to all things Toledo - Downtown, Toledo Zoo, Toledo Art Museum. Lots to do in the hotel itself - 2 indoor pools (one for adults that connects to the outdoor pool and one for families), ping pong tables, billiards tables, video arcade room, restuarant and bar on the premises (that hosts entertainment on the weekends), […] two local drinking establishments within walking distance (no really, you can walk to them). Stayed here in the late 60's and in the 70's many, many times. First time back to this Holiday Inn. Found it to have been very well taken care of. Only complaints, no fans in the bathroom and thought it was way overpriced. Did not try the food. Our room was nice, bedding great, and room well taken care of and cleaned. Rooms were remodeled. Things I enjoyed were that there were seperate "adult" and family/kids pools... for those conference-goers that want some true relaxation, I didn't feel like my children would bother them... As far as family amenities: Kids had fun playing table tennis, swimming in the awesome indoor / outdoor pools and havin' a great open area. My wife and I were very pleased to stay at this particular hotel. It was so nice to have the opportunities within the hotel itself for swimming, dining and simply hanging out. It's location is near so many cool places to visit. We are planning to come again!

About as expected.

The hotel has many room options, and a great-value restaurant. The pool is indoor-outdoor all season, making it fun for our five year old grandson to swim under the divider and then float little "icebergs" of snow picked up from the pool edge. The staff in the restaurant was most thoughtful, for example bringing each child one of two pancakes to get […] started on, following a few minutes later with the remaining pancakes and bacon. There is a large supply of towels near the pool. The restaurant meals are reasonably priced, with a very nice salad bar as part of the evening menu. We like to stay at the Holiday French Quarter, because when we come to Toledo we like to have the grandchildren visit us at the hotel, where they can enjoy the very nice anemities and services

Check in was so quick, courteous, and professional! Our room was very neat, clean, and even had a great smell! The bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was the best part! My husband even took his first bubble bath. :) The hotel was gorgeous on the inside. Ping-pong tables, a tiki-bar, 3 great pools! The French Quarter design was great! Easy drive to Ann Arbor on the way to the OSU-Mich game. Beats a one-day from Columbus.

We enjoyed our one night stay. The kids had a great time at the pool. We were very appreciative of the accommodating staff. They even allowed us to check out super late. We will definitely use this hotel again during our next stay in Toledo.

Booked this Hotel to have meeting place with family and friends. Hotel has very strict rules reguarding use of it's faculties. I understand why but was not able to use the pools due to family being afraid to break the rules. Suggest they have a way for registered guests to have visitors!!

The hotel was clean and the service was decent. However, it is very dated. The room that we were in had a door that opened directly to the parking lot. Would have preferred an actual hotel instead of the old fashion motel.

The last time I stayed here was 1992.Thought I would stay again because of the easy location. Had to go home to Ohio for a funeral. The breakfast was bad. Then ordered off menu. Slow service. Wallpaper coming of room walls. Not too clean. It made me sad, because I remembered it to be so clean and fun with the New Orleans feel to it and the courtyard […] with indoor pool. Sad to report. This is a great hotel. Pools, games, activities for the kids, youth, and adults. It's a big complex with some relaxing and some energizing places to hang out. Some hallways looked a bit worn, but the room was fresh and we enjoyed our stay.
