Holiday Inn Summit County - Frisco - Frisco

This hotel is conveniently located 6 or so miles from breckenridge. Very easy access. Have been there twice, good value for the area. On both of my stays, 1 month apart, I did the breakfast buffet. Although it looks very good, the food, with the exception of the delicious pancakes, was cold both times. Its was exactly what I was looking for a place close to the different ski resorts and a clean place to rest between days. Local food and stores very close.

We went to a japanese Restaurant and spent 100 dollars and had a bunch of left overs that we were going to have for lunch the next day but we had to throw it away because we did not have a microwave or a refrigerator. we also had to throw away lunch meat and had hot drink. Also there were kids smoking marijuana in the room next to us and im pregnant so it made me feel sick the whole time. The only good thing I can say is the room was clean and the area was nice. Good hotel and very close to Frisco downtown, convenient to Breckenridge. If you book on hotels.com, getting the room with breakfast does not mean you get breakfast. You need to ask for the front desk to give you a voucher. Apart from that everything was great.

Nice is good. All the typical amenities were available EXCEPT a continental breakfast in the mornings. I did have to get gruff with the front desk agent..I paid for a 2night, mountain view, non-refundable stay and the room they put us in had a view of the back wall of the restaurant next door. After I expressed my discontent the problem was fixed after […] they told me that 2pm was too early to check in for our room and could we come back at 4. We stayed here 11 years ago when we got married. Since then they have completely remodeled and I am not pleased with the new layout. It is very choppy, less open and the rooms seem smaller. The room was clean but the hot tub was not and the pool was very cold. The restaurant food was terrible and there wasn't much of a variety of food. For the price […] we paid, I felt we should've gotten a refrigerator and microwave. Also, I really hate it when there is no guide on the remote for the tv. I accidentally left a new pair of $150 boots in the hotel room when we checked out. I called a few hours later after I got home, but they were not turned in. I shutter to think what else goes missing from guest's rooms at this hotel. I will not stay there again.

This hotel had been recently renovated. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The location was convenient to restaurants, stores, etc. The only thing that they could improve on, in my opinion, is their fitness center. It was ok, but not great. But, if your just looking for a great room to stay in, this is it.

We reserved a balcony room over a month before arrival. We were put in a non-balcony room missing a refrigerator and microwave. Upon requesting a balcony room, we were told that we hadn't paid enough. Upon presentation with our reservation letter, we were told we'd have to wait for a balcony room because none were ready. So, we took a lesser room with […] a microwave and refrigerator that didn't work. Upon complaining, we were told that a maintenance person would look at our refrigerator in 20 minutes. After waiting 50 minutes, we gave up waiting and left for dinner. Looking on-line the next morning we found that the room we were given was cheaper than what we'd reserved. The only bad thing about our stay was that the restaurant was out of so many things. Brownies, icecream, pie, coffee, french fries, ranch dressing. The waiter comped us some meals, but not without telling us the entire story of why they were out of stuff. I understand that things happen, but we didn't need him to sit down and give us a very long story. […] He told us how busy he was too, but still had the time to do that! Læs mere

Everything was good; clean room, clean lobby, easy access. Two minor issues: I had to ask the staff 5 times for a late check out before they granted it, and I was also charged twice- once by Holiday Inn and once by Hotels.com. Other than that, pretty good expirience.

Had to stay in a handicap room, which was fine until all the water from the shower ran out into the bathroom do to wheelchair accessability & an engineering genius that sloped the bathroom floor AWAY from the drain. It left a cold mess in the morning since we couldn't have another room.

I'd call it adequate. The room was clean and in a good location. It has a space for a fridge in the room, but there wasn't one there. Would be a nice thing to have. The hot tub was WAY too small--fits about 10 and there were 20 wanting to use it post-skiing.

The room I eventually got was great, the people that worked there not so great. Don't eat at the restaurant, it is overpriced and the food is horrible.

Room was too small for the king sized bed, desk, chair and tv cabinet. Plaster was falling off the ceiling in the bathroom and in the bedroom. Gym, pool, hot tub and sauna were really nice. Elevator to 6th floor didn't work. 6 flights of stairs is the last thing you want to do after all day of skiing. Overall, you can tell it is an old facility. It […] has been updated, but it is just lipstick to cover up the true shape of the building. Room and bathroom are cramped. There is no frig in the room. Hotel was freezing, the heat was out in main area's. Was overcharged, paid to hotels.com then again to holiday inn. Staff in the morning not very courteous or helpful. Hestitated to give late check out or offer to make up for my overpayment.

Room was very nice; recently remodeled. Our bed was new. Very comfortable, very quiet. The hotel's restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. We ordered burgers and watched the football game on many tvs. The only complaint I have is the hot tub was not clean, could definately use a cleaning. Everything else was really nice!

Beds are superbly comfortable, staff is wonderful, amenities are great and late check outs are available. The one catch. The food is terrible. Most hotels in this area have great food so try elsewhere.

The staff cannot prevent a water pipe from busting which prevent showers in the morning. No big deal but double authorizing my charge card with this and no offer of anything but a sorry was a little short of what should be expected.

hotel was larger than I expected. Restaurant was large too. they gave us a buy one get one free card for an alcoholic beverage which was nice. Bus route outside of hotel took us into frisco but probably could have walked there faster. There were some extra charges on my account that I'm not sure of. When we arrived, we waited for nearly 30 minutes to get checked in. While waiting, 3 other guests came to the front and said they had been oven keys to rooms that were occupied and had walked in on other guests. This issue was aggravated by he fact that the lock on our door would not lock fully, so we spent the evening waiting for people to walk in […] on us. Having double beds rather than queens was an inconvenience. Spa was nice, but the water cooler was out of water and the towels ran out. Our only negative was phone not working in our room. Staff offered to move us, but had our cell phones so stayed put. Pool area is smaller since remodel, but still nice area to hang out. Prices seemed good for mtn. areas, and this location is convenient to Silverthorne, Breckenridge, Copper Mtn., and Frisco is a nice small town too.. All good except bath water temp long wait time to get hot.

The hotel staff with the exception of the manager was wonderful. We stayed Thanksgiving night. We weren't planning on eating at the restaurant as we had had turkey dinner but we needed to feed our 15mo old daughter. They "were out of everything" and what my husband ordered wasn't cooked-raw hamburger. When the manager was approached, her hair was all […] dishevled and she was slurring her words. She made a comment about "dozing off". As they walked to the front desk to "fix the problem", she had an unsteady gait and continued to slur her words. The next morning, the bill still did not represent what she had mentioned to my husband(a partial refund on our room). She told me she wasn't able to give a refund since it was prepaid. When I told my husband this, he went inside and after about 10 minutes, walked out with a partial after being advised that the customer relations dept would be hearing about the issue. She also gave us a coupon for discount off breakfast(which was great). All in all the hotel is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The manager was our only problem and in the end, with the threat of customer relations, problems were solved. We do recommend the hotel as it was a good deal and great location. Læs mere

Hotel was very clean and it was easy to check-in. I reserved 2 rooms on-line together, but couldn't get the rooms together when I check-in. The rooms were clean and nice. The rooms were missing items like a phone in one room to an alarm clock in the other.

Easy Access to highway, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain! Right off the highway and the highway noise was not an issue for us. We did get a room on the 6th floor for better views but it was of the mountains and highway instead of the lake so kind of disappointed and they were unwilling/unable to change it. Weekend of the Warrior Dash. At least we didn't […] get the 5th floor which appeared to have views of the air conditioning system! Right across the street from a strip mall with restaurants, ski shop, Safeway, and Walmart. Although the hotel was supposedly renovated, it had an older feel to it, although our beds were very nice and comfy. The swimming pool and hot tub are good sized. The first room we were assigned was a king, as requested, but when we went to the room there were no light fixtures and no TV. The staff was helpful and quickly assigned a new room, there were no King rooms available. Being 6'4" the double bed we were assigned was less than comfortable.

We enjoyed our short stay here - close to Breckenridge and room was fine. Only complaint was the pool was freezing cold.

I was pleased with the location of the hotel. The adjoining restaurant is good. However, with our 3 night stay, we had NO HOT WATER. Mentioning this several times, I was told, "We'll see what we can do". At check out, the response I got was "Sorry". I think Holiday Inn could have done better. I will not stay there when I return.

The hotel was great but hotels.com charged us twice for the room but got it credited the next day.
