Ogden Days Inn - Ogden

We stay here often when we travel for dance. They are tight on towels, but other then that. The pool is really nice. This stay they had a group from a highschool - running, slamming doors, and giggling - that kept me up all night. The last time I looked at my clock it was 4 am. The motel has a great indoor swimming area and hottub. Must-see sight in area is Antelope Island. Great white sand beach, buffalo ranch and a nice drive around the island.

Heater fan kind of loud & ran most of the night which was somewhat annoying to me. I thought overall the room for the price was good. We were satisfied just to have a clean comfortable bed to sleep in & the pool was warm for my daughter to use. We plan on staying there when we stay in Ogden again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was basic but reasonably clean. The Wifi worked well at least in my room. The heat wasn't very strong, the room was chilled most of the night but not excessively.

Try the Hampton, the Days Inn really fills the stigma on 1-2 star hotels. 55 degress when I walked into the room, street noise, half the wing I was in was closed down? Room TV/remote in-op, poor service, spend $10 more and go elsewhere.

Air conditioner was not working properly and could not seem to keep the tempertature up in the room even though it was blowing air almost all night. Alarm clock had not been set from Daylight saving time to regular time. facuets in shower seem to turn in the wrong direction and shower head seemed to be plugged up and spraying water in odd directions. […] There was no heater or vent fan in the bathroom causing the mirror to fog up. In the three times we(my husband and I) have stayed there, this was by far the worst. After the last time we stayed there we had vowed not to stay tat this hotel again. But some out of town people we were in a group with wanted to stay there and we were needed to take care of a baby while one of the couples had a "wedding night". I asked for a room […] on the first floor; I was give a handicapped room (neither my husband or I are handicapped) located on the end of the building; next to a public smoking area. the room was small to begin with. When they brought the crib I had requested there wasn't much room to move. I am 5 ft 2' tall; my husband is 6"2' when I got in the shower to shower I had to bend over to wash my hair the shower head was so low. Worse than that the bathroom in our non-smoking room REAKED of cigarette smoke; so bad that we had to keep the bathroom door closed all the time. While the fan for the heater was on anyone smoking outside our room; the smoke was pulled into the room. My clothes came back from my weekend stinkig like cigarettes and I don't even smoke. The staff promptly brought an additional set of towels after the second call when I found only one set in room. The housekeepers who attended to our room, were very good. they were probably the best part of our stay. When the issue with the bathroom smell was reported to front desk we were pretty much told "oh well." I can in total honesty saw that no matter what the circumstances we will never stay in this hotel again.. Læs mere

I have stayed several times and it has been a place that you are "not afraid to take your shoes off and walk on the carpet" clean. I like the views from th rooms and the pool, and exersize room. I love the pillows, and the rooms are being renovated with new bedding and towels. I like the location, as it is close to shopping and good restaurants.

not a good hotel! i would not stay again

had a very nice indoor pool and hot tub, but the breakfast wasn't so great. It was ok. They brought the waffle machine on 3rd day of stay and had cereals falsely named.

I would not recommend this hotel, I think a much nicer, cleaner hotel can be found for the same amount. I booked this hotel without thorough research, my big regret!!!! The pictures on the website must be very old because the room did not reflect the picture images. It was a last minute have to find a place within my budget because of a difficult situation. […] The hotel was not very clean overall, very neglected. The internet did not work in the lobby and the continental breakfast was very limited. I will admit the sheets were clean on the beds, only nice thing I can think to say and I am fairly forgiving for the most part. Save your money, this Days Inn was overpriced and dirty. Læs mere

I was not satisfied with this motel in anyway. We were walked in on by the maid service, the breakfast they offered was water and waffle, the shower was luke warm water with no pressure behind it and the staff was very rude. I will not come back and will not recommend this place ever to anyone.

We chose this hotel mainly for two reasons. It was central to where we needed to stay, and the price. The room was clean. Agree the carpets are dirty, but vacuumed. It was fine for one night. We will have to be in Ogden at least once a month, so we will more than likely stay here more out of necessity than choice. We looked breakfast over, and we aren't […] too keen on cold cereal. There is a nice Dee's Family Resturant right next door one can walk too. This hotel was terrible. Very unclean and rude staff. I wont be going again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The Days Inn in Ogden, UT was satisfactory. The staff were courteous and helpful. However, the building was obviously dated, with a new coat of paint. The pool is the best part of this hotel. The rooms are okay, thought it was worth the price. The water in the showers sucks and the breakfast they were suppose to have waffles and she said she had not started making them yet, that was at 8:30 and they quit serving at 9. We had a good stay and would stay there again.

This hotel is one of those that just scrapes by to maintain its affiliation. It's very faded and worn. I'd say it was at least clean, but it's not really that clean either. The water pressure has been dialed down a lot, so the showers are more like a gentle rainshower... The beds were fairly comfortable and the AC worked fine. The pool was nice, but […] it could have been cleaner. The continental breakfast was pretty pathetic - they didn't bother taking the bread and bagels out of the bags and the pastries from day 1 of our stay were the same ones on day 2. If you are using this hotel for a stop over then it would be ok. I would not stay more than one night. A little out of the way.

I picked this place because it was the 2nd cheapest room on hotels.com and I was just passing through on my way to a national park. The location isn't great and I didn't feel safe leaving anything in my car in their parking lot. The hotel was old and in need of maintenance. It wasn't really close to the Freeway or dining areas and it smelled like dog […] food when we arrived at night. Seriously, I think there's a dog food factory nearby. That said it was fairly cheap and the beds weren't bad. Typical concrete block hotel. If I had to do it again I'd stay at one of the other 10,000 Days Inns along the way, they all looked to be in better condition and closer to the freeway that this one. Læs mere

I enjoyed the short time I stayed at the hotel. Need to check on times of the continental breakfast. Closed a lilttle early at 0900. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good bargain.

Can't say I'd recommend this place. Location was convenient to downtown Ogden where I needed to be, thats about it. Check in was interesting with the front desk clerk not even getting out of her chair or putting her cell phone down for a few minutes. Room was okay but AC was so load it was hard to hear the TV and then sleep. Toilet was clogged. Not […] the hotels fault, but the neighborhood was not great and was concerned for my vehicle which was full of work materials and samples. We enjoyed Ogden, nice historic district, great train museum, cool old ice cream parlor. Hotel was clean, efficient, quiet. Some general maintenance issues. Major leak in the lobby/dining area ceiling, bulging paint, dripping water onto the breakfast bar. Pool had to be uncovered before we could use it. This took the staff two hours to accomplish. Stayed here because of locality to event. Property was less than 1/4 full and still had no hot water and dead bolt on door was broken. Everything else is as expected for 2 star. Pool does have a huge indoor pool.

I got a discount for making a non-refundable, early payment. I saved about 25-30 dollars for that. I was also given a discount for the refridgerator because I called in advance. The pool was not ready at the time they advertised, however they made it ready soon after I asked. The breakfast was good, but make sure you get there early. Inside ring of hotel 1st and 2nd levels are all high-humidity chlorine-smell rooms. Request an outside ring room. Air Conditioner did not work, set it and left, returned to 89 degree room temp. Was moved next door to a room with two tiny double beds, when I asked for a King room, they were all sold out. NOBODY was staying in this hotel, Highly doubt […] that there was not one king-bed non-smoking room available. Two bad bookings with hotels.com in one month, they also posted two different pictures for this property, Seems like they need to upgrade their database, photos look good, then hotel looks old and has wrong address. my wife and i had a wonderful stay. the people working were so nice and helpful. the pool was huge and warm just perfect and beautiful. we were close to downtown so we could go out and enjoy ourselves. the breakfast was a great breakfast with waffles and bagels fresh coffee it was way better than expected i will definitely stay again

Although this hotel is a little dated it fit a one night stay with breakfast included. Definitely worth the money and the pool is big!

This place is a dump. Its in a terrible part of Ogden. The majority of the rooms open to the outside. We had to walk across the hotel outside to get to the pool/hot tub. The hot tub was cold and covered with a tarp. We were told that if we wanted to use it we just had to take the tarp off. The breakfast was a waffle iron, cold cereal and two or three […] muffins. Older..needs updating. Had to have toilet repaired as soon as we arrived. Heating system was very loud. Cold draft from door.

This hotel was AWFUL!! It was in a scary part of town, extremely dirty, the front desk lied to me before I booked the room saying the hot tub was 105 and we got there and it was cold! It was so bad we stayed for about an hour and then checked out wouldnt even sleep there. DONT STAY HERE!!

When my family of 5 (including me) arrived at the hotel everything seemed just fine. I went to unload some things out of the truck before everyone got out and when I entered the room I was in shock. It was only 50 degrees in the room and the heat was turned off. So I turned the heat on, and continued inspecting the room. I had to plug all the lights […] in. The tv, microwave, and refrigerator were also not plugged in. The toilet in the bathroom had urine all over the seat so I cleaned that up before I would let my family come in. The room stayed cold all night long, and as for the advertised free breakfast... you better wake up early if you want it. We called down at 850am to see where to go, and they said that it was already over. Even McDonald's serves breakfast until 1030am. Overall very unsatisfied and I would recommend to go elsewhere. We were traveling through and there was a winter storm hitting the road ahead of us. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and we had a conversation about how crappy the roads were. After this, she offered to upgrade our room at no cost, just to make our travels a little better. So nice. We were weary when we arrived and waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. The room was noisy and the locks on the outside doors (back, from the parking lock) would not work. We Stayed just 2 nights and it was just okay. It was what we had expected as we had read reviews but for a very affordable rate per night and a clean bed it was fine. The rooms were much smaller that expected but we were not staying to spend time in the room we were out and about visiting the local attractions. The staff were friendly and there were […] a few locals milling around and living in the hotel etc but it gave the hotel its character and we felt perfectly safe. The waffles were yummy and fun to make with our 5 year old. Largest pool in Utah but a bit cool to stay in for any length of time. No fridge or microwave in our room as advertised. Yes - Hairdryer...
