Excellent Buffet Breakfast, worth the extra pay. Walking distance from the Mall which is great. Very nice hotel.

Great reception,extremly helpful and a great stay overall

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was great. Hotel was very pleasant. We were out so much because the area is sooooo lovely that we didn't even get to enjoy the jacuzzi! Breakfast is very good.

We had a great time at the hotel. The staff was very helpful to my elderly parents. The breakfast bar was great, it made our parents day.

Nice place. Staff very friendly. The beer and wine prices at the bar are very reasonable but STAY AWAY from the top shelf cocktails; they are through the roof as I found out to my great surprise.

I read some negative reviews here but decided to stay anyway. I have nothing negative to say. Yes, the hotel is older, but the rooms were nice and clean, the bed comfortable, the service excellent and restaurant and servers wonderful. Also an excellent location and right next to the freeway. This is a great bargain, for twenty dollars more a night than your "Travel Lodge" type Motel, you get a fancy safe comfortable hotel with a restaurant and bar.

Everything was very nice for me at this hotel. The front desk staff were very quick and professional, the room was clean and the free glass of wine was relaxing. The only problem was that there was no microwave in the room as promised.

I was unhappy with a few things. First, when we arrived our room was very cold. The curtains were drawn yet the windows were wide open. Second, when I got into bed I noticed that the bottom sheet only covered half of the bed-most of my legs were on the mattress pad! Also, the bathroom was very small-not something that could be fixed.

We stayed for 2 nights while work was done on our home. Clean and spacious room. The bath was a liitle out-dated. The bed was comfortable. The heater in the room is the worst of the ammenities. Could not get it to keep the room warm and quiet. The fan started and stopped at 30-second intervals. Hard to sleep through the change in sound. We got the room […] with breakfast included. This is one of the better places I stayed at. I usually travel alone, but with my wife, the quality and spacious room is worth it.

I have never stayed at a Four Points before and this was not a very good first impression. Value for your money is not very good. I'd stay some place different the next time I return to San Rafael.

This is a partially renovated apparently old holiday inn. Carpets are filthy. The chicken entree in the restaurant was overcooked and dry. The people are the bright spot. They were friendly but incompetent to to handle a broken light in my bath that was flashing like a strobe. Showering in the dark is not fun.

nice hotel, a little overpriced for the amenities. Staff did not know of the local restrants in the area.

They need central A/C and a automatic double door on the hotel entrance badly. Starwood property I kind of thought these would be a given.

Skip this Sheraton. We have always been happy with the Sheraton brand. However the reservation clerk was unhelpful and the accomodations had much to be desired. When asking him about storing refrigerated items he was unfamiliar with the proceedures and told me that I could store my yogurts in the restaurant refrigerator and when I brought them to the […] restaurant I was told I needed to store them in my room refrigerator. I spent an additional period of time waiting for the refrigerator to be delivered to the room as well as the time negotiating with the restaurant staff. The hotel location was great and the price was good. The beds were not comfortable. Kept sinking into the middle. Also the bathroom is VERY small. It was very clean and in a great location.

For all Sheratons I have been in, this is the low end one. Four Points product is already a low end of Sheraton chain, this is the low end of Four Points. Don't get me wrong, we didn't experience any problem, but the overall condition of the hotel does not meet the normal Sheraton standard. It is old, elevator, room furniture, carpet, air conditional […] unit (it is a window unit with loud noise), etc. By the way, this is an "independently owned" Sheraton, there is a big sign at the front desk, never knew Sheraton sells its name like McDonald's does, so you can figure the rest. We could stay here again if there is no other choice, just need to set straight the expectation. Læs mere

This hotel was very clean and quiet. Close to highway. We enjoyed the lovely pool. There was a lovely restaurant as well. A great choice!

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Pleasant Staff. Breakfast buffet was excellent, worth the extra price. Close to highway and easy to get to points in San Francisco and Marin county.

Hotel pictures are accurate and so are the positive reviews. Be sure to include the breakfast buffet with your reservation!

Great Hotel, excellent Breakfast, and great location. Will use this hotel on future stays.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean..the front desk employees were great and very helpful...

Everything was clean except the carpet which had several stains and needed to be shampooed and it looked like it had not been vacuumed any time during our four day stay. The bathroom was small but functional. Other reviews complained about the freeway noise but we did not find that a problem. My husband, teenage daughters, stayed one night at this hotel. The hotel was generally well appointed, but older in style and in need of some updating. We specifically requested a non-smoking room and knew immediately upon entry that someone had been smoking in the room we were given. The front desk assistant was very apologetic and accommodating, immediately […] giving us an alternate, equal room. That room was comfortable, clean, and smoke-free. The hotel grounds are very pretty, though we were unable, due to time constraints, to take advantage of the pool, jacuzzi, or work out facilities. Though we had the minor inconvenience with the first room, because the management handled the problem so graciously and professionally, we would definitely return to the hotel and recommend it to others. The staff was great..only problem is that the check out of noon - presents a problem..check in is very late..so if you are in a hurry to get into your room..don't count on it. Loved the hotel/pool/hottub - staff was so very friendly..I would recommend it to anyone. I just wish the windows would open more than 2 inches! This hotel is very convenient and close to the highway, unfortunately there was very loud night road construction. The hotel is very nice and clean; overall a very good value.

I travel a lot for work and opted to stay here due to its location between all of my meetings. After a long day of cancelled flights and terrible traffic, I was greated by very friendly staff and a very nice/comfortable room. Would stay here again for work &/or vacation.

It was clean, modern and well maintained. I would stay again. We stayed for two nights as we visited San Fransisco. Not too far from the city, but not too close either. Kids loved the pool and we were very pleased overall. Worth the money.

The information for this hotel says it is within 20 minutes of Napa and Sonoma. That is not at all the case. It took us more than one half hour. Maybe there is a secret underground passage we did not know about, but then I guess neither will the others who stay here. We were offered access to wifi at check-in. However in the room only one of us could login. So we tried to go one-at-a-time. No dice. Tried calling the toll free number on the wifi instruction card. The help line hung up the first time after a long wait. Human help finally picked up the 2nd try and solved the problem quickly by opening up server access. […] The bummer was the hotel then charged us $4 ($2 each for the "toll-free" calls to their wifi service provider). I think that if they don't provide enough servers for wifi access (and the hotel parking lot was only 1/4 full that night) then they should provide help free in-house. "free" means no-cost, duh. The Four Points hotel is nearly impossible to find. GPS takes you to a shopping center that is on the opposite side of the freeway. No phone number for the hotel on the reservation so we needed to resort to finding a gas station attendant who thought he knew how to get to the hotel. We arrived late and hungry but the restaurant and bar where already […] closed. The entire hotel had the look and feel of a ghost town. Tried room service but they had closed at 10:00 pm. I stayed with my family to celebrate my daughter and mon's birthdays. It is a place to sleep. Continental breakfast excellent. The room was difficulty to access with a deficient guess: have to walk a lot - at the checking I mentioned this detail, but I was told that it was the unique option they have to offer for me.

nice pool area, nice peolple, just an ok hotel. No weekend newspapers. The Seafood Peddler is a great place to eat, not to far from hotel.

The desk people were ot very helpful or friendly, the restaurant for breakfast was good but took FOREVER to get served, the housekeeping would forget to put the pillows back on the bed or empty the trash cans. So nothing HORRIBLE about this hotel but nothing GREAT either. I would not stay there again, that's for sure. There are many other hotels around […] the same price that I would try first. Læs mere
