This truly is the "happiest place on earth". Hotel was very family friendly. Location couldn't be better. Staff was friendly and willing to accomodate. Nicely decorated without being too fusy with regard to small children. If I were going with adults only, I would stay next door at the Yacht Club but with small children Beach Club was perfect.

Our visit to Disney Beach Resort did not go as well as I had hoped. We reserved three rooms - one of the rooms experienced maintenance issues and was not ready as promised. We were given an up-grade for the unavailable room, but that separated my family. The staff was apologetic but held firm not being able to keep us together.

The staff is very friendly, the room was extremely clean, the maid actually folded my clothes in addition to leaving cute towel animals, the pool is gigantic and beautiful (but only open until 10PM, that was my only complaint about my whole stay), several hot tubs, ice cream parlor, ridiculously delicious room service, comfortable and very clean beds, […] free internet, they let us into the room early, along a beautiful boardwalk, so close to Epcott that we came home for a post drinking nap, all in all really nice. I have also stayed at the Grand Floridian, which was equal in every way except the Floridian leaves their pool open all night, which was the only way it excelled the Beach Club. My husband and I traveled with our two and a half year old son and my husband's parents. We were thoroughly pleased with this hotel, especially its location as you are close to Epcot and the Boardwalk (walking distance). Hollywood Studios is just a short boat ride away, too. Highly recommend!

Hotel was a two minute walk to Epcot and a convient rear entrance to enter the park. Having the boardwalk right there also made finding something to eat very easy. Hotel was well staffed and everyone was pleasant.

We chose to stay in this hotel during a trip which we intended for business and family fun. It was a great place to stay because of all the amenities and closeness to the main Disney Theme Parks.

The garden view room was really a NO VIEW room. Noisy in the early morning Room 2672 was right above the lobby with a small view of the arriving vehicles to the hotel. You could hear most of the lobby noise and ALL of the hotel workers who used the room / offices next door. The noise started 6 or 7 am. The gardener's leaf blower around 7:30 am. Exceptional pool. Didn't have the bst selection of equipment in gym. No rowing machine. Concierge services did everything for us! Managed children's activities without disturbing other customers. Movie on the beach was cool. Very friendly accommodating staff.

The hotel is very pretty from the outside but the rooms need updating. We had a leak in the shower and calking was coming a part at the seams. The room smelled musty. The food at the resort is OK. The hotel raves about the Yachtsman Steakhouse and it may have been one of the worst steaks I ever had. Overpriced, over cooked and dry. You may go thirsty […] waiting for a waitress poolside. They are understaffed at the main Pool. The waitress came around once in 1 hour. My wife and I reviewed the trip when flying back to Texas and we agreed that there are far better vacations for the money. To spend that kind of money at Disney and it be just OK is not satisfactory. We went for the weekend to EPCOT for the Xmas festivities. The hotel was nice but the main attraction is the fact it is right next to the back entrance of EPCOT. It was a very short walk which meant we avoided the hassle of the Disney parking lot and worse those Disney transportation buses.

High rates and lots of construction going on. Difficult to access food for kids, and lots of climbing up and down stairs. Hard with a family. Also, the staff was older, slow and couldn't answer many questions.

we loved this hotel it is perfect for familys It so easy to get to Disney Hollywood and Epcot and was easy to go and see the fireworks later My grandson loved the pool area and almost didn't want to go to the parks

Our stay was excellant. We had chosen this hotel as we wanted something special as we were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We were noit disappointed even the maid left our bath towels folded in a heart shape. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we would certainly recommend The Beach Club to anyone.

This hotel needs updating! Showerhead about to fall off wall, old bits of food still stuck on the table beneath the desk. Spent the extra $ for a "better" room, I'll stay in a less expensive place next time and do and have the same experience.

The property is very nice, the main draw is the pool area. It was a little chilly during our visit so we didn't get to enjoy the pool as much as we'd have liked to. The hotel was the perfect location to visit the various "kingdoms" at Disney World, easy access, even walking distance to Epcot. There were a variety of places to eat any meal of the day but our favorite was the Marketplace where we could get a good breakfast and eat either outside, inside or our favorite, the window seat with a view outside while watching […] the people pass by. A superb Disney resort with a laid back beach theme. The styling and cleanliness of the resort is impeccable - none of the haughty trappings of a similarly priced hotel. We stayed on the Club Level and experienced great service from the staff - there were always plenty of concierges available to deal with any eventuality. We did have to make one complaint […] regarding tardy housekeeping, but this was dealt with promptly and thoughtfully. A great resort if you like to be within walking distance of two of the Disney parks (Epcot and Hollywood Studios) and all the amenities of the nearby Boardwalk. Naturally there are lots of families with their children (it is a Disney resort, after all) but as a couple we were never made to feel any less than welcome anywhere around the hotel. Loved it! Everything was great. Location is especially convenient, 3 min to Epcot back entrance. The staff is what makes this place wonderful...great job keep it up. Love the water slide, but you had to go across an outside sidewalk (where people walk with normal shoes so can have hurt your feet). The prices at the marketplace is not bad and either is the room […] service rates (pretty nominal). Our room was good but the air conditioning was a bit cold (no matter how we turned it) so in the end just turned it off. The windows are a bit thin at keeping out noise, could hear the carts on the walks and the fireworks for illumination from Epcot, but not too bad if you are not in the room at those times trying to sleep. Hotel was in a great location easy to get to parks. The only thing that was an issue is the busing from downtown Disney to hotel was a long wait and to many stops. Other buses came and went and only were going to one hotel our bus went to 3 other hotels. It was packed.

We stayed 5 days at the hotel and the accomodations were nice. This was one of the few hotels allowing 5 guests comfortably in a hotel room. The food in the restaurants was mediocre and extremely overpriced. There was several renovations during our stay fortunately we did not take advantage of the spa or health club so it only effected the hotel's unsightly-ness. The […] pool area is gorgeous, amazing and the beach added to the magical touch. The kids loved the pool and we even skipped the parks one day to relax at the pool and later enjoyed a movie under the stars. Awesome pirate ship slide for adults and kids. Over all very good. We are a family of four (two adults and two nearly teen age kids) and a twin room would have been more convenient. We were accommodated in one room with two twin beds. One toilet and shower only meant queing up in the mornings. Otherwise no major problems

Hotel is beautiful, clean, and staff are very helpful. My kids, age 4, 10, and 12 all enjoyed the 3 different pools. It was great there was "quiet pools" too, for when you need to unwind from Disney. Walking distance to Epcot, Boardwalk and Hollywood (or just take the ferry).

Beach Club Resort is a great hotel in the center of the Disney World property. You can walk or take a boat taxi to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. There is regular bus transportation to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, as well as the water parks and Downtown Disney. The only bus ride that is long / slow is Downtown Disney. If that's your primary interest, […] another hotel there would be a better choice. When we stay at Beach Club, we pay extra for Club Level (Vacation Club perks). It's a private floor with multiple concierges, breakfast, lunch snacks, dinner snacks, and wonderful evening desserts and evening beer, wine, and some liquors included. We do Club Level rather than a dining package. Club Level is a great deal if you will be around your room midday or evening to enjoy the food. We park hop a lot, so stopping back at the hotel to refresh and fuel up works for us. Beach Club also has the best pool on the Disney property, with a lazy river, water slide, and several pools and hot tubs. It's a great hotel for teens. The pool might be a bit big for younger kids, but there is a separate shallow pool area for them. Beach Club Club Level isn't cheap, but it's quite an experience, and very highly recommended. Pros : close to Epcot and within 5 min walking to the side entrance of Epcot . Also convenient to Hollywood studio . Boat ride takes 20 min to Hollywood studio . I walk to hollywood studio and takes 20-30 min. There's shuttle bus to downtown Disney and magic kingdom.you can have fast food and some grocery stuff in the Marketplace which is a shop inside […] the hotel . There is only one sit in dinning restaurant which I try the buffet dinner which is has good seafood and steak. You can see the firework of Epcot at the small beach of the hotel Cons : limited food options . There's no transport between DWD and universal studio . The magical express service require you to take 4 hr to the airport for international flight which I think it's inconvenient for early departure flight . They ask us to wait at 4 am for magical express service for 8 :am flight . So I tale the taxi instead . Læs mere

Great Disney Resort hotel for kids. Very friendly staff. Pool is great with a pirate ship slide and beach sand pool area. Pool side game for kids in afternoon and marshmellow roasting at night in addidition to outdoor movies every night. Kids loved the character breakfast. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is housekeeping forgot to clean our room one day (staff was very apologetic and put a credit on our account) and resort was doing maintenance at the pool area making it a little difficult to get to the beachsand pool area and the poolside counter-service restaurant and bar. I took a short trip to Disney with my college-aged daughters just after New Years. I have stayed at many of the other Disney properties. The Disney Beach Club is exceptional, second only to The Grand Floridian. The Disney Beach Club is a 5 minute walk to Epcot and The Disney Boardwalk and a 5 minute boat ride of MGM. The greeters at the hotel are very […] friendly. The staff at the Concierge is also helpful but I was surprised by one staff member who was rather rude to me but as a whole the staff was wonderful. We were given a room with an awesome view of the pool, beach and Disney Boardwalk. The downside to this hotel are the restaurants. It has more upscale dining then moderate dining. Once we returned from the parks, it was very difficult to get a sit down meal for under $35 a person. The Marketplace does have food you can bring back to your room but we wanted to just sit and relax and eat. We tried to get room service and after holding for 15 minutes, we gave up. I would return to The Disney Beach Club on my next trip to Disney. Læs mere

I booked on Expedia and was never prompted or required to list all of the names of the 9 people traveling with me and staying in the 3 rooms that I reserved. My name was on all 3 rooms and this proved waaayyy too confusing […] for the front desk person, so, after about 20 minutes (!) he asked the manager, Judy, to come over. Her first response was: "Well, we can't fix this, you'll need to call the wholesaler, Expedia". Whaaaaa???? Where's the Disney Service?? When I told her "no, that's not acceptable, figure it out." She spent another 10 minutes with her annoyed face staring at the computer screen and her fingers entering the names of our party, etc. And then, through her huffing and puffing there was some sort of "work around" and 30 minutes after arriving, she slapped down our room keys. No real apology - no real warm "Disney Welcome!" Really??? So, a cautionary tale: be sure to key in all your guests names and ages in Expedia so you can avoid this mess! And of course, bring your print outs to prove it! In addition, we had no hot water on our last day. They warned us that it'd be out from 1-5am but by 7:30am still nothing. When we left the hotel at 3pm that day (unshowered), still no hot water. I felt badly for the arriving guests!! We made our own fun but some "CMs" need a refresher in Disney Magic! Læs mere

Our room was just a few doors down from the club room, and was quite cozy with fluffy comforters and good amenities in the bathroom. We had a small balcony that faced the courtyard, two chairs and a table for relaxing. Free wifi was also included which was a nice touch.
