They have 1 router by the office and then 7 repeaters they use to get the signal to the rest of the rooms. Anywhere except the first corridor the packet loss is over 60% and the chance of loading a webpage is around 5% (if you can even get an IP assigned from the router). The room itself was acceptable for the money, but bring some slippers since the […] wooden floors had sticky spots all over. The in room refrigerator and AC both worked. The room had a bed, a uncomfortable wooden chair, and a home made vinyl 1 person bench that wasn't properly secured to the wall so if you sit too far forward on it you'll tip it over. I was in town for a conference and the hotel was booked solid. That disappointed the many working girls that started coming in after 10p looking for a room since it seems to be a place they use regularly because of its low price (also probably because of the strip club right next door and several others in the area). Definitely interesting people watching in the lobby while your in there using the internet in the evening since it probably won't work in your room. Don't expect breakfast in the morning, but they do make a pot or 2 of coffee and there is a Waffle House just down the street (or a Denny's if you prefer it). This isn't a place I'd bring my wife or kids but If I was stuck in town for a conference again and everything else was booked I'd be ok staying here. The room had a microwave and refrigerator - which was not mentioned. Nothing fancy - but clean. Close to I 45 - easy to get anywhere. Would stay there again.

The furnishings, or lack of them, were uncomfortable and not conducive to remaining in the room to watch TV unless you wanted to sit upright in an uncomfortable platform bed with no foundation or a backless wooden corner bench with a 3' x 3' table. That was my last Motel 6 stay.

It was okay for the price it is a modernized feel and look similar to what I experience when traveling latin america. It is not a 3 or 4 star hotel. However it is clean quiet comforatable bed bathroom was clean. The place was very uncomfortable inside. The bed was mit nice. Floors were all wood and the bathrooms didn't even have shampoo! I will never stay at another motel 6. I checkef out 6 hours after checking in because It was so uncomfortable! The stafd was really sweet and helpful however.

I did just fine with the modest conditions. The hotel is located in a sketchy part of town. The price was great though, and I really liked my room. I had to ask for shampoo because the shower didn't have it.

the website said 24hour shuttle - I got in to Houston 11.45pm no shuttle available??, that was the main reason I choice Motel 6 over other hotel/motels in the area - had to take a taxi -other than that, for a 2 to 3 star motel - it was clean and comfortable

The room was adorably furnished with very modern furniture- it was fun. It was comfortable, though a bit loud. Several people arrived at 3 in the morning and the walls are pretty thin. But, overall, an excellent value for the money!

Arrived after midnight 2/23/13 - very tired after 2 flights & delays. Went to bed by 12:30 am & then a dog began barking and barking. After one hour I called front desk to complain & was told lady who owned dog would be back in 5 or 10 min. Finally barking stopped, but it took me another hour to fall asleep. Cheap place. We walked into the hotel and it smelled really bad in the lobby. Our room was okay it had hard wood floors in it which made the room loud. Bed was comfy. But the towels smelled like they were never washed, so gross. The only thing that I did like was that the staff was very nice.

Impromptu visit, wasn't bad. Covered all the basics and was quiet. Not the best ambiance but not the worst either. In a pinch I'd stay again.

The experience was very poor. Room was kind ok but old. The bar behind location kept me up all night. I will not stay there again, but if you need a couple of hours of sleep and you are looking for something extremely cheap, you can experiment with it...

I locked my dead bolt lock three times at night. It kept unlocking. It made a loud noise each time. Super creepy. The noise at night was loud and distrubing. Sleopt very bad. The room was clean.

The hotel was good for the price. No frills, clean and close to Hobby Airport. If you need a cheap nights stay it's ok. I would not stay with my family. Hallway smells like smoke.

Cheap and near hobby airport with transportation provided was a plus. I stayed in the back part of the hotel, hallway was heavy smoke odor but in my room was fine. Not typical carpet floor, it was laminated wood floor and newly renovated.

I always stay at Motel 6's... because I always travel with my miniature schnauzer. I'm really impressed with the new remodeling that's going on at the Motel 6's. I've stayed at Motel 6's many, many times through the decades... and now, after they have re-invented themselves, they have become better than the best. Didn't have video game console (like it said), given wrong room at first, wifi didn't work, and shuttle wouldn't pick us up at airport because we arrived after 11. Other than those things, the stay was good and the room was nice.

we have stayed at this motel several times, this time was not at all the best. we were in rm 129 and there were mold/mildew on the ceiling of the bathroom and in the shower and tub. i took sum bleach n tried to clean it, it didnt come off. we asked for an iron and ironing board, we had to leave a deposit for it, there was no clock in the room.......but […] the good side was that the room was spaciouse and clean, they had an upgrade tv. had to request for a microwave and refrig......the hallway smell like all smoke and we were suppose to have been n an non smoking area......dont know if we will stay there again...... It's a Motel 6, not a Hilton. That being said, my room was clean and the staff was nice. The wi-fi was down for a few hours, but otherwise everything was alright.

They have a couple got girls working there. Kinda loud. Dogs barking ect. Right next door to a strip club. Very cheap prices. Rooms were big not very clean I found long black hair in my bathroom and on towels and sheets.

The room stunk. The smell would keep me up at night. I had to go And buy a can of febreeze to mask the odor. The outdoor pool was a nice touch. The remote was broken the TV was broken the air conditioner was making noises. All in all it was a place to sleep while I was in town but I won't make the same mistake twice.

The neighborhood seem nice, the hotel seem like it has been updated and the rooms also. The only thing was bad about the stay was the beds were hard. and extremely uncomfortable.

The place has a nice set up inside the room with a fridge and microwave. They had a nice flat screen to watch tv and they had all the channels to need to kill time until you leave the hotel. It seemed rather laid back too, which makes me lock them in as my hotel to stay on short trips to Houston, if they price is still as good then as it is now.

I chose the hotel for its price and proximity to Houston Hobby airport, as I had an early flight the following morning. Imagine my surprise to find out that an an airport hotel, their airport shuttle does not begin operating until 7am. My flight was at 6:45, so that was clearly not an option. I had the front desk call me a taxi, but as I walked through […] the airport and saw how many flights left between 6am and 7am, I couldn't understand how their shuttle could start running so late. If you only have a short period to stay and don't want to spend an arm and a leg for a hotel room and don't have kids, I would say stay here. The hotel is older and was apparently rennovated but it seems that it was done cheaply. The flat screen TV is modern and the decor seems to match as well. The surrounding area is not exactly family oriented as […] next door is the "Cabaret G" lounge. The convenient part is that its approximately 7 min to the airport and next to the interstate. I chose this place because it was the cheapest I could find in that area, and I regretted it. The room had vinyl floors which was kind of weird. The AC unit was really old and didn't work correctly. You could hear everything that was going on in the room above us, but the worst part of the stay was the fact that there is some kind of dog kennel next […] door. Efficient. Hotel staff was accommodating and called for cab service the night before. The cab driver came and left early and had to be called back. When he didn't show after 20 minutes, the desk clerk took us to the airport on the shuttle (before normal operating hours). He was very helpful.
