Hotellet var dejligt og nyt og der var en god service. Vi bookede et superiorværelse med havudsigt. Værelse var rummeligt og rent. Det eneste kritikpunkt var toilettet spm var placeret i et lille separat rum. Selve badeværelse var ellers fint. Hotellets beliggenhed er en smule langt ude og det tager ca. 1/2 time at gå ind til South Beach. Hotels Palms har stilen, rendyrket høj service pakket ind i super lækre omgivelser. Vi bookede et superior room med ocean front view samt kingsize bed, stilen var lagt og vi blev ikke skuffet da dørerne blev åbnet for os foran hotellet og vi blev budt velkommen, denne service fulgte hele vejen gennem receptionen til restauranten samt ikke mindst pool […] området. Vi sætter pris på kvalitet samt service og det fik vi. At vågne om morgen af de første solstråler udover atlanterhavet, tage hotellets lækre morgenkåbe på slentre ned gennem haven samt poolen, ud gennem den private låge, direkte ud på Miami Beach og ud i blågrønne ocean var det fedeste morgenritual jeg har haft, gør det gerne igen og igen. Great location on the beach, good poolside bar. Employees are friendly and helpful. Price is high, but good value for your money.

This hotel was lovely! The pool and beach area was incredible!!! The staff was so wonderful. Only downside was there is not much to do in the immediate area (dining, shopping) however there is a fabulous food and shopping area (Lincoln Road) about 1 mile away - quick trip by taxi or definitely walkable, mostly along the boardwalk near the beach. I called and made the reservation by phone with hotels.com. I especially asked for a room with two separate beds otherwise I would have booked in another hotel. Hotels.com booked a room with two beds for me and did not explain that this is no guarantee. So when we arrived at the hotel late at night, we got a extremely small room with ONE bed. I explained […] this to the hotel manager, but they said the hotel was fully booked. So we had to stay in that room the first night than the day after they gave us a new room, which was large and with two beds. The rest of our stay (3 days), they where renovating the building right next to the hotel so if you are staying in april I would recommend another hotel, because the noise is quit high during the day if you want to enjoy the pool. The breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Location is good, although not the best. The beach right outside the hotel is nice and quite (except for the renovation). Læs mere

If you looking to be remote relative to any nightlife, this is your place. For the price I was expecting more. The rooms were small, the staff was so..so and the drinks were really expensive. We paid more thinking we would get more space and better creature comforts, not so, and when we asked the front desk for help, they were confused and could not […] get anything right the first time. Beautiful hotel and location, with direct access to the beach. It gets a little dead in the evenings. Room service was found to be a challenge. Orders were invariably messed up and room service waiters were found to have deficiencies in English that made correcting the orders more of a challenge, but eventually the hotel would get things right. Stayed here for the valentines day weekend with my boyfriend and it was amazing. Our room was super clean with modern decorations. The bathroom was to die for! To too off the weekend, a wedding was being held the night of our check in. SUPER ROMANTIC. Will book again!

For a weekend away for 6 women, this was a great find. The price was excellent, considering we went during the high season and wanted to be near Lincoln for restaurants, shopping and people watching. It is a fair walking distance to Lincoln, so can't recommend doing it in heels for a night out. However, a short cab ride away and a nice walk in comfortable […] shoes to all the shops and restaurants you could want. Spa was very nice. As with all things S. It was a very nice stay with great access to the beach and a beautiful, secure resort. However, if you have a street-side room, be prepared to hear city noise (alarms, sirens, busses and trucks) at all hours. Request an oceanside room for a quieter experience. However, there are hotels on either side that are undergoing construction from about 7am-4pm […] and there is no escape, even on the beach. It was very disruptive. There is nothing The Palms can do about it but we found it difficult to relax by the pool or on the beach with the constant construction noise. It seems that it may be going on for awhile! Læs mere

I went solo to Miami and stayed 1 night at the Palms to pamper myself, and that I did. The staff greeted me warmly and professionally even at 11pm. They encouraged a late night swim in the 24 hour pool and reminded me the bar closed at midnight. I woke to the New York Times and a beach chair then off to the spa for a massage. The Aveda Spa is small […] but serene, simple but sophisticated. I had another swim in the pool and a pricey lunch and then headed off. Overall, an excellent hotel if you want a "resort" feel which personally I can only do 1 or 2 days of, then I want to see the local atmosphere. One thing to note, families seemed happy with their stay and I saw several pregnant women with their husbands (last ditch romantic getaway pre-baby?), kind of nice to see there's a pregnancy massage at the spa for this reason. What a delightful veranda, terrace and tropical garden + pool area. Really a charming spot, most relaxing and quiet. Pity the hotel is a little far to walk to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Rd but it must be the most pleasant place to stay if you want somewhere with warmth and character and friendly personal service.. from Nestor at reception to the waitresses,doormen […] and pool staff! Carpets in the hotel room old and very dirty. The tile seals in the bathroom have mold. Lighting in the room very poor. Buffet breakfast best in the hotel, although the waitresses are very slow. Outside pool water temperature was too hot. The beach is nice. Good location. 6 points out of 10, I wouldnt recommend this hotel to my friends.

One of the weirdest staff to ever run a hotel. They barely spoke to me regarding any question I had. I was charged for 3 separate coffees when I bought a triple shot espresso. Never done that way at Starbucks or any other place but this hotel which would have been fine had they told me before they made it. The best part is the HORRIBLE method of seating […] a guest in the dining room. I was there for business and had to be at events early every morning. The restaurant would never seat me in less than 20 minutes and they were never close to full. I finally ate at another location every day after several failed attempts to get seated quickly. I could not fault the price and location and thought that the pool area was great. My only complaint was that the mini bar if not refridgerated and all contents are warm. They then advise you of an additional cost to have a refridgerator provided.

Luxurious hotel, courteous, friendly staff. Enjoyed the complimentary chocolates, room was very comfortable and clean. Convenient location.

Pool, Beach, Restaurant all were great. Rooms were half the size of an average Fairfield Inn room. A wedding took place two times a day and were very visible, right beside the pool. A bit distracting and undesirable.

After a disastrous start at the Gansevoort we moved to the Palms. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, nice rooms (a touch small), the only negative was the building site next door. Nice location not too far from anything, but nothing convenient very close-by. Nice pool, maybe a little 'too' family friendly for someone like me without kids, but it wasn't […] that bad. I found THE PALMS to a jewel in the craziness of South Beach. SPA was great. Safe, secure site. Attentive hotel staff. Transported back in time . Staff made a point of remembering my name and apologized sincerely for any minor mishap. Sorry I had to leave after 3 days back to the jungle.

I loved this hotel the last time I was there and now it's even better. Very much a "green" hotel now. Rooms are nicely renovated and the food is fantastic. Beautiful porches, terrace and lawn between the hotel, pool and beach.

Great hotel, Clean and very romantic, however it is so not for singles, if you are planning to propose or just have a good time with the wife/GF, you are at the right place. if you are single or groupe that wanting to have fun, big NO.

For the Hotels.com price, this hotel could not be beat. The lush tropical surroundings of the pool, combined with the proximity to the surf made for a real feeling of "getting away". We were very happy with our stay. The service staff was great. My only complaint would be the steep valet parking cost ($29 per day).

I have stayed at this hotel several times, but this was a uniquely challenging experience. My first room was on the third floor with construction workers working literally outside my window. I spoke with the front desk to change my room and got terrible service, with a delay of two days for the change to happen. When I finally got my new room, it was […] on the 8th floor, NYC-sized room with construction in the room above. In speaking with a maintenance engineer who had to come in to fix a faulty radio, he mentioned it was among the smallest rooms in the hotel. On a four night stay, we spent close to $1,000 in incidentals, food and bev and spa services. I would have eaten more often at Essencia if I had not been upset at the room issues that I had brought to the attention of the staff and were left ignored. Læs mere

we stayed for two nights in this beautiful hotel, everything was amazing....the staff, the food....we really recommend this lovely property to everybody.......!!!!!!

housekeeping floor supervisor bust into my room even though there was a do not disturb sign on the door. i asked him if he did not see the sign and he just ignored me and asked me i have to check out. it was only 12 35pm and check out was at 12. i thought this was an isolated incident but same thing happened to my friend, female, just got out of the […] shower, housekeeper was forcing himself and asking her to check out. you can charge me for extra but cannot get into my room like that. moreover, they give my rental car to someone else, saying it was the same color and same car. tell me how crazy is that. i inform front desk about this and no one bothered calling. i guess you get what u pay for Læs mere

rooms smaller than expected; bath was tiny; no place to store toiletries. The neighborhood is"renewing"; a few vacant buildings/being renovated. The property is fabulous, with its own cabanas & beach sand inside its gates, yet steps from the beach.

The Palms in Miami Beach is the Worst hotel in Miami beach I have stayed in. Tiny rooms, fees for everything including not returning plastic towel cards. Way over priced and overall a bad hotel, I would not recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful hotel with an attentive and friendly staff. Prompt valet service. Turndown service was an unexpected bonus! The only complaint I have is the annoying birds that inhabit the grounds, but I'm not sure what can be done about that. We had a view of the ocean from our shower!!
