Millennium Hotel London Mayfair - London

Hotellet var super, i gåafstand til Oxford Street og alle seværdigheder. Gåafstand til teater hvor vi så en musical "We Wil Rock you". Værelset var rent og pænt når vi kom trætte hjem fra byen. Dog vil jeg nævne at morgenmaden på hotellet var dyrt 23 pund for Engelsk Breatfast. Det var en god morgenmad.

Perfekt beliggenhed, tæt på alle seværdigheder og godt kvarter med hyggelige cafer og restauranter. Værelserne har en variende, men generel pæn størelse. Festlokalerne på hotellet er store og lejes ud til andre end hotellets gæster. Så overvej om i har lyst til at høre på musik fra fester som I ikke selv er inviteret til :).

Vi havde to overnatninger på Hotel Millennium Mayfari i London. Hotellet har en super god beliggenhed mht. shopping, fine værelser og en rigtig god restaurant - det er ikke sidste gang vi bor her.

The only bad thing about this hotel is The internet connection, very expensive. This should be included. Everyone are helpfull and Nice, beautifull hotel, love The morning with The Lovely park IN front of hotel. 4 min walk to oxfort street. See you next year

Super fedt hotel holdt i den gamle engelske stil. Intet at udsætte på hotellet. Service i top. Bedst af alt dog beliggenheden som nok må siges at være PERFEKT. Mayfair er et smukt område, mindende lidt om forholdene omkring kongens Nytorv/ Bredgade i Kbh. Fra dette hotel er der gå- afstand til charmerende Soho og til de store shopping gader( 500 meter) […] Tæt på metroen ligeledes. Perfekt beliggenhed og god service, værelserne var rene, men i en noget kedelig gammel stil. Prisen for morgenmads buffeen fejlede ikke noget men indholdet var simplethen for kedeligt til den pris, hvis man måtte give minus point, så havde den fået det.

Great hotel. Excellent location. Good service. But way too many extra fees on everything. You cannot even have breakfast in the restaurant without being charged extra (beyond the price). They even tried to make us pay for an upgrade upon arrival even though they knew that they had to give us the upgrade because the hotel was overbooked.

Hotellet er fint, ligger perfekt i Mayfair. Meget stille område. Reception, concierge og roomcervice meget flinke, responsive. Men umuligt at sov før 1.00 fordi der er meget støj/musik fra hotellets balsal. Vi fik ingen info om at der kunne forekomme støjgener eller at det først ville holde om kl. 1 (det blev dæmpet kl. 24, men fortsatte 1 time). Så dejlig en oplevelse lækker lækker restauranter på hotellet. Vi forventede faktisk en lækker oplevelse af hotelet og man må sige det fik vi. Ligger perfekt når man skal shoppe de lækre ting og hyggeligt nabolag.

The hotel was nice. the cleaning ok, but the cleaner forgot some of our towls one day. The bar was expensive 9 GBP for a gin & tonic. Breakfast 21 GBP - and then addtional payment for coffee. - and furhtermore you pay additional 2 GBP in charges every time you use your room number instead of paying cash in the bar. was charged with coffee in the room […] - 2,2 GBP per cup. Skønt hotel, centralt belliggende. Utrolig venligt personale, og høj standard generelt. Dog er morgenmads buffet ikke noget at skrive hjem om, men det gælder vist mange hoteller i London.

Vi var rigtig glade for at bo på hotellet. Da vi ankom blev vi anvist et værelse, som vi ikke var tilfredse med - der var udsigt til et kæmpe ventilationsanlæg lige uden foran vinduet. I receptionen var de forstående og gav os et andet værelse - hvis blot vi ville vente et par timer. Da vi kom tilbage var vores baggage båret op til det nye værelse, […] som var rigtig dejligt. This is a very good hotel in the heart of Mayfair, London. I have stayed there several times in the last few years. It is average value for money among hotels in its class, whereas the Chesterfield Mayfair is very good value for money (the latter hotel was not available when I was in London this time).

Mayfair is an incredible neighborhood. The Hotel gave us a room overlooking Grosvenor Square, what a great view. Service was exemplary. Would love to stay there again.

This was the 3rd time I have stayed at the Millenium, I love it there and would recommend it to anyone. We had breakfast included which was supurb and catered for every taste, the staff were very attentive to us. . Service at the hotel was excellent. Very responsive to requests....able to check in a bit early and provided a room with a view to Grosvenor Square. So close to shopping on Oxford Street, next door to the American Embassy, very close to Bond Street Tube.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights at the end of February. Our stay turned out to be a mixed bag. When we checked in I was a little disappointed that the view out our window was of adjacent roof tops but I figured that is life. The room was warm when we arrived (28C or 82F) so we turned on the air conditioner. When we left for dinner about 1 […] 1/2 hours later it was still 28C. We stopped at the desk on our way to dinner and asked if they could have someone check to see if they could get the room cooled off. When we came back from dinner the front deck advised that the problem was fixed. Our room was a little cooler and we thought things were going the right way. Overnight the room heated back up to 28C and in the morning I let the staff know the room was not acceptable. We were switched to a different room later that day and while that room was much cooler than the first it was still warmer than we liked. Again the air conditioner did not cool the room down. Maintenance came to our room that night and made some adjustments that didn't seem to help so we slept with the window open. With the window open the room was comfortable. The bathrooms in both rooms were old and tired. The fixtures were very old and not in good shape, tile appeared dirty and/or scratched, caulking thick and uneven. Just generally not up to the standard we would expect for a hotel that is rated at four stars. On the other hand we found all of the staff to be cheerful, helpful and informative. The concierge was very helpful in assisting us in preparing plans for the day, dinner arrangements and transportation and the reception staff were helpful in at least trying to resolve our complaints with the room temperature. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is located on Grovsenor's Square, next to the US Embassy and two blocks from Hyde Park. We can highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite big and it was perfect for larger families if you need rooms to be connected. The only thing that was not satisfactory was the air condition, which did not work properly. The room was quite hot, around 25 C which is a bit to hot to sleep in. great hotel and superb location. walking distance from major attractions

This hotel is in a great location, close to the shops on Oxford street and the cinemas, etc. However I was really shocked at the size of the room. We had a standard room but the room felt much much smaller than other standard sized rooms. The bathroom especially was like a tiny cupboard, with a poor working shower. The room requried updating, the net curtains were dirty & grubby, these were changed immediately, after our request to housekeeping. There was prior water damage to part of the suspended ceiling which had not been attended to,repaired/replaced. No dressing gowns (robes) provided, poor TV reception, the digital signal break down. We would reccommend this to our friends. We were informed on our departure that the hotel will be refurbished in the near future, not before time. Ideal Location for London sights and Stores. Not far to walk after night out no need for taxis!

We traveled to London in early December to experience the season. We were not disappointed. What made our journey all the more special was the location of our fine hotel in Mayfair. We were within walking distance of Oxford Street and the Bond Street Underground which made getting around London convenient and enjoyable. Location great. Rooms a bit small and bathroom needs updating but overall very nice. Room service menu could be a lot better.

I am in London a few times a year on business and have stayed in a number of hotels over the last few years. By far the best service and quality of room was here. Front desk staff went out of their way to make me feel at home.

We recently stayed at the Millenium Mayfair with our 7-year old daughter. The location was perfect and the surrounding neighborhood was gorgeous. The staff as the hotel were extremely helpful, the food was excellent and our room well maintained. If visiting with children, I highly recommend signing up for their Children's Conceirge program. Upon arrival […] our daughter was greated by a teddy bear from Hamsley's toy store dressed as a Guardsman, jelly beans, and kid-sized robe and slippers. My second stay at this property! Was great to be near shops....all were having major sales! Great pub around the corner for fish and chips. They need to work on free wifi - the only drawback to the property!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights 31/12/11 and 1/1/12 bed and breakfast. What a lovely hotel this was. Pristine clean throughout, but my best comments go to the very friendly and obliging staff, both in reception and the breakfast room. I booked this for one night, so i could be close to the US Embassy the next day. It was much better than expected. The check in lady gave me a room where I could look out over the square as I sipped my tea. Palatial breakfast - with first class waiter service, and decent breakfast buffet selection. The hotel generally is classy, is grand, comfortable, […] relaxed, and central to Mayfair, and close to everything. This is our 3rd stay at the Millenium and we like it because of its location in mayfair which is excellent for when we have tickets for the ~Royal Albert Hall and the London Palladium or any of the West End Theatres. Some of the rooms are a bit tired looking and the bar is very expensive but the staff are very helpful and there are plenty of restaurants […] and pubs in the vacinity which are less expensive. Had a problem with the television we were unable to get any channels but on ringing reception we were told that everyone had this problem due to a fault in the area ! Would book here again provided we managed to get the same discount with hotels.com wouldn't pay full price which is very expensive. Læs mere

Very proficient and friendly staff. Lovely room - only problem was could do with more lighting.

Hotel is a very charming old residence. Located in Grosvenor Square close to US, Canadian and Indonesian Embassy. Rooms are comfortable. Bathrooms much smaller than they should be given decent size of rooms. Pros - Lobby is beautiful. Restaurants very chic. Staff are friendly. Location is pleasant. Rooms are clean. Cons - bathrooms small. Bath fills […] up quickly during shower. Housekeeping don't replace toiletries! Double beds are actually singles pushed together. Phone rings randomly throughout the night waking you up. Room service often get orders wrong. It is too far from local public transport, so you have to walk a lot to get to nearest tube or bus stop. The bedding seems old and the mattresses are sagging. The furniture is dated and the cushion on the chair is very uncomfortable. Size of the room was fine, but 2nd floor room is too close to the main lobby and thus remains noisy. Wireless Internet connection in some of the rooms is patchy.

This is a fantastic location for shoppers and theater goers. You can walk to so may great surounding neighborhoods. Great cafes in the neighborhood for breakfast as well. Didn't try the restaurant in the hotel but it was busy and the menu looked great.

Hi - I stayed here last week for 4 nights. This is my second visit - the room given to me before was bigger. This time smaller but still good. The room was very clean and up-to-date. Check in was fast and the gentleman in reception was polite and welcoming without over doing it. The hotel has a car park which made things easier.
