I picked up this hotel for my first Munich trip. I read a lot of comments before picking up, but apparently the hotel was much better than the comments. Everything was in place, in perfect shape, in great comfort. I liked in-room breakfast, liked the bar, and the pool. All staff was friendly. Hotel is located very close to ArabellaPark station, which […] is convenient to go to any place in Munich via metro and S-Bahn. Accommodations were ok but was very disappointed in the fact that I was charged an additional outrageous fee per night for a roll away bed for my daughter. I made my reservations 2 months prior to my arrival and did not receive any notification of this charge until the day before my arrival making it to late to cancel my reservation. As always.. solid treatment and service.

Overall pretty nice hotel. One exception was the spa. My wife had a massage and manicure / pedicure and both were very mediocre overall and poor if compared to other luxury hotels.

My 20 year son and I had a wonderful time at the Grand Westin in Munich. It was one of the most beautiful and friendly hotel we have ever stayed at. The room was wonderful and we just had such a marvelous time. We hope to return there someday with the rest of my family.

Great location for my meetings, amenities available to all... including indoor pool etc. Clean with eager to help floor staff and very secure. Only snag - the waiters and waitresses are inexperienced, forget orders, and if presented with a large denomination for a relatively small charge (?) one told me, I do not have change, instead of going to the […] Hotel desk (10 meters away) and change it, The quality of food is decent but NOT 5 stars - just good with lot's of room for improvement. The salad bar at the "Paulaner" is poor (thrown together) and the breakfast buffet "unethically" expensive. Læs mere

We were not particularly happy with our stay at the Westin. We felt the service was sub-par for a Westin hotel. When we checked in, we were given a room that was incredibly smokey, although the front desk told us it was a non-smoking room. We had a long wait for a new room that didn't smell like smoke, and when we got it, it was a king-size bed instead […] of two singles, which was what we asked for. They told us the hotel was very close to the city center, which it was not. The staff was only moderately helpful for the rest of the trip but the room was clean and comfortable. Læs mere

Good Hotel, easy check in, clean and spacious room. Good location with U Bahn access to City centre 300 mts from Hotel. Not much in surrounding Area in way of Restaurants or Bars. Quiet buisness/conference Area.

Great location, helpful staff, awesome amenities!

We enjoyed our stay at the Westin Grand Munich. The staff was friendly and helpful; the lobby was very nice; our room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The hotel is located very close to a subway stop that makes access to downtown Munich very easy. We would/will definitiely stay at the Westin Grand if/when we go back to Munich.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff is very helpful and professional, the breakfast buffet is out of this world. We normally only find this tyoe of variety in 5 star hotels in Asia. Everybody was truly committed to making our stay perfect. The only slight downside is the location of the hotel outside of the center of town, but there is a U Bahn station […] about 5 minutes away from the hotel and it takes about 10 minutes or so to get to the main attractions. The Westin in Munchen was perfectly acceptable in all respects. Check-in was easy and the hotel staff were curtious in nature. My only complaint with this hotel was location (and this may be my own fault). As a traveling tourist, this is not the hotel to stay in. It is RELATIVELY close to a metro stop, but it is a far cry from being in the middle of […] things. If you are looking for a good, clean room for a night in Munchen, this is the place. The Westin was outstanding on all levels. We were instantly upgraded upon check in and found ourselves staying in the nicest hotel room we have ever seen! Everything was so clean and comfortable. The front desk staff had excellent customer service.

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were very comfortable and clean! The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and how to use the metro system.

The hotel is a five star one, its service and conditions are excellent, but it is a bit far away from the city center.

Travelers to Europe are used to the European hotel experience: tiny rooms, poor or non-existent air conditioning, cramped showers, boutique feel, etc. The Westin Arabellapark, on the other hand, is more of an American hotel experience: huge lobby, little history, immense bathroom, large room, and great air conditioning. Our only beef was that breakfast […] was not included. A hotel this nice should not nickel-and-dime its customers. Ein Hotel, bei dem das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis mehr als stimmig ist. Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr schön. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch ganz bestimmt über einen weiteren Aufenthalt nachdenken.

Ett "klassiskt" hotell. Ligger i ett lugnt område inte så långt till City. Det är inte gångavstånd men både tunnelbana och spårvagn finns ca 3 min promenad från hotellet. Bra service av personalen. De uppgraderade oss till ett annat rum, hjälpte oss att boka om hyrbilen (som fanns i en annan del av München) så att vi kunde hämta den bara 2 min. från […] vårt hotell. Suveränt. Das Hotel liegt am mittleren Ring und dadurch lärmbelastend. Schlafen nur bei geschlossenem Fenster.

Generell zufrieden. Sehr freundliches Personal. Jedoch Kritik an Hotels.com ---> Irreführung bei Zimmerwahl! Wir buchten im Glauben, dass Frühstück inklusive ist. Auf der Buchungsbestätigung war es dann drauf. Sehr schade, unter diesen Umständen kann ich die Plattform Hotels.com nicht empfehlen..

Останавливались в отеле всего на одну ночь. Номера просторные, чистые, удобная и комфортная постель. Есть небольшие нюансы (как зазор в потолке на 2-3 см и видны бетонные перекрытия), но это не Ритц. Rapporto qualità prezzo veramente ottimo (5stelle). Fitness center con piscina idromassaggio e area terme con accesso libero. In alcune tariffe non sono comprese colazione (29 euro) e garage (20 euro) ma si trova tranquillamente parcheggio nelle vie limitrofe che sono traquille e sicure e colazione in molti locali nelle vicinanze a prezzi buoni.

Der Hotelaufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Leider wurde er vom Service der 2 Mitarbeiter in der Bar/Bistro getrübt. Nachdem ich die Bestellung aufgegeben habe brachte man mir zunächst ein falsches Getränk aufgrund mangelnder Aufmerksamkeit bei der Aufnahme meiner Bestellung. Dann wurden die bestellten Speisen serviert. Und während der ganzen Zeit kam kein […] Mitarbeiter mehr und das obwohl mein Getränk leer getrunken war. Die Mitarbeiterin unterhielt sich mit ebenfalls dem gleichen alter entsprechenden Gästen sehr angeregt. Obwohl im ganzen Local nur 8 Gäste anwesend war schaffte es der Kollege nicht nachzufragen ob alles okay ist bzw ob ich noch einen Wunsch hätte. Eigentlich hatte ich mir vorgenommen noch einen Cocktail zu trinken. Habe aber dann darauf verzichtet nachdem ich über 30 Minuten auf ein Getränk gewartet hatte. Für ein 5* Haus leider viel zu wenig. Excellent hotel,quiet area ,very good service.

Tout était très agréable - le service à la réception aussi, le parking etc. impeccable. Le grand lit dans la chambre est très bien, assez de couvertures.. - sauf que les coussins de tête sentaient un peu mauvais - il y avait des nouveaux linges mais c'était le coussin dans le linge qui sentait un peu...pas frais.
