"Quiet and Relaxing"

Have just returned from a super 10 days in Piskopiano, a lovely quite town outside/up the hill from Hersonissos. Piskopiano is also an 'irish' town, with about 4 irish pubs there. The English stay in another town further east. Marlia I think it was called... The hotel itself was super. Clean, and most of all, quiet. Very quiet, in a good way. Lot's of small terraces where you can be yourself. Most with a view of the coast. Most definitely will return. Practical things: the hotel is situated at the top of a VERY steep hill. Short hill, but steep. So if you have any problems with driving cars along VERY narrow VERY steep roads, make sure you get a small car. Or, take a taxi and rent a quad bike. Great way to get around. Don't bother with getting the breakfast, it's not really worth it. Plenty of supermarkets in town (best one down to the town, turn right...) where you can get fresh bread and fruit. Cheaper and better. Not sure if it's cheaper to book AirCon on line, but if it is, do it. It's hot at night, and their air con works. There are no facilities at the hotel, apart from the pool, so if you think you can entertain your teen kids there, nope, no can do. It is a base, and do your travelling from there. If you want to do a water world, take Aqua Plus. All in all a great little hotel, will be back.
